@Jessica86Shropshire glad your results came back all good! What a relief. How long was your wait? Still waiting on mine I had my scan and bloods on the 30th but probably being too eager atm! X

@MyGrassIsBrowner I had the test last Saturday and the Ultrasound Direct clinic I went to ensured they would arrive Monday morning so it's been a week / 5 working days. I did chase (call Ultra Sound Direct) this morning too to prompt them 😂

@Jessica86Shropshire aaaah I'll leave it a bit longer then before I start panicking 🤣 I guess the fact that they haven't called me is a good sign at least. Bloody hate these waits. My 20 week scan isn't until 24th May and that just seems like forever away haha

Morning everybody!

I took your advice @MyGrassIsBrowner and finally got through to the hospital yesterday. Turns out despite being sent on the 22nd, they didnt get or process it until the 1st?! I am 11 weeks today bang on, feel so deflated still not knowing when I will get to see my little bean. Just want to get excited and count down but I can't.

I also asked if it would be delayed because of this and they have a backlog so are scanning on sundays - she said it means nothing so i could still get it nearer 12 but it just seems so strange. I almost wish I knew it would be late so I would book my own private one as the waiting kills lol

@melody27 I have bought clothes so far. Actually intend on getting most things second hand nearer the time though from friends.

@juicytoot287 that is so unfair! They should be telling you. How hard is it to book someone in on a system. We get all our dates the day we phone up to say we are pregnant! I really hope they come back to you soon! Xx

@Juicytoot287 Oh I am sorry they've been so lack lustre. I really hate the fact that most hospitals are using Covid as a cover up for poor service or at least it seems that way. Hopefully they get their arses moving for you now! Good luck 🤞 x

@Juicytoot287 I'm 11 weeks today too and I don't have a scan date yet but I have been told I should hear back by the end of this week or next with a date but aslong as the scan is before I'm 13+5 it should all be fine apparently. It Is very annoying waiting considering I first spoke to someone when I was around 5 weeks to try and get booked in etc xx

MN keeps crashing on me so been mostly using FB but lovely to check in on you all.

I had a h&m maternity basket waiting to check out after the scan as starting to get a bit tight!

Awwww amazing @poodlepip! Congratulations 🥰 my scan is on Monday and I'm so nervous but can't wait.

I feel so sick today, I was hoping it would start to calm down by now had to get out of bed before my alarm to go and throw up this morning, trying to work full time alongside this is no joke!

I got my due date moved to 13th October. And all was perfect at my scan. They checked my cervix too and all shut so a really good morning! Now to get back to work haha!

@jl2020 Exactly how i feel! Hospital said there is a big chain and sometimes people just take ages to do their bit e.g. posting a letter lol. Very frustrating but ever so close to that 12 week mark now for us yay!

Hoping the symptoms die down now. Do feel less tired but equally I am on half term so every chance I am just being lazier lol.

I know, we are almost there now! I feel like these first weeks have flown by even though I have been an anxious mess lol.
Tbf I have felt more nauseas this week than any other time but hoping it doesn't last too much longer! Maybe you do feel less tired because you are able to do less at the moment and chill a bit more. I'm working from home but by the time it gets to this sort of time of day I feel so tired but it does pass pretty quick and don't feel like I need to nap or anything so thats good xx

Hello just popping myself onto here if that’s ok...... first time mum (well matured at 38 ) think we are due around 27/10. Hoping to get some info, encouragement and top tips! 11+1 today -we think- but haven’t had a scan yet!!! Booked for dating scan next Friday so hoping everything is progressing as it should be.... I see lots who went for early scans which we didn’t but feeling quite chilled about the whole pregnancy so far, just weird as apart from the awful nausea, sore boobs and delights of constipation (sorry!) we haven’t seen any evidence of our little one yet! Eeeek anyone else who waited until their dating scan at 12 weeks?

Welcome @Nattie1983 💜 i have the same due date as you, from my last missed period anyway! Also a first time mum :)

I haven't received my first scan date yet but I also haven't gone for an early scan as I didn't think it would help reassure me any more tbh so decided to just wait for my dating scan! I haven't really suffered with any symptoms apart from a little bit of nausea and sore boobs but the sore boobs definitely seem to have eased a little the last couple of days which i'm not complaining about lol x

Hey guys. Had my 12 weeks scan today and measuring ahead at 13+3. Plus as it’s twins they’ll be delivered at 37 weeks. So basically I’ve had a month knocked off my pregnancy today!

@mf1981 great news! I moved forward 5 weeks last time, it feels amazing doesnt it haha!

@nattie1983 welcome to the group! I am first time mum and 37 think there are quite a few of us :) I did go for an early scan but mainly as I wanted my cervix checked. But there is nothing better than seeing the wee ones heartbeat 😍 I get scans every couple of weeks this pregnancy, feeling very lucky I will get to see them so often!!

Hello ladies lovely scan pictures! Mine is tomorrow and I am very nervous after a MMC last time, I have been sick with nerves at least DH can come in with me which would make it slightly less terrible. Hope you’re all feeling ok!
