Due December 2021 thread!

I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

I have an early scan booked when I'm 8 weeks I have had a MC before at 9 weeks so want to have some confirmation and reassurance. I didn't think I could conceive naturally either and had tried on and off with my ex for 18 months!

So I can't regulate my body temperature anymore. Either boiling hot or freezing cold. I have insomnia that means even though exhausted from running around after 4yr and 18month old all day I just can't sleep and have the most vivid horrid dreams when I do sleep. Plus my nausea occurs at night.
I had gestational diabetes with my previous pregnancy so I've been testing again and looks like my fasting levels are high already so likely heading that way again 😫

We found out on Tuesday that I had a positive pregnancy test but completely shocked as we were always told we would never conceive naturally! I’m just not sure if we should get an early scan as we are both a bit confused, is anyone else planning an early scan?

I'm planning an early scan! Just impatient and can't wait that long to put my mind at rest. Fingers crossed for you

@wannabemum38 @chloed121 thank goodness it’s not just me I thought I was being dramatic/over worrier getting the early scan. It’s all so much to take in at once

Definitely not just you! I'm thinking to go 8/9 weeks, how about you?

@chloed121. I will be 7+6 when I have mine read its better to wait till after 7 weeks for a clearer picture and heartbeat

Hi all, can I join?! Been testing for a few days and lines are getting stronger 🤞🏼. Not sure when I ovulated or when due date is as I haven't had a period since January, we were just DTD and hoping for luck! Clear blue digital says I'm 1-2 weeks so going with that. This one will be DC 2, praying it sticks. I had a private NIPT test at 10 weeks last time which included a scan and will do that again this time, hopefully.

@Horehound I recognise your name from the September 2019 thread, I was on it at the beginning then kind of dropped off but had a lurk every now and then! DD was born early Sept '19. That seems so long ago now!

@chloed121 @wannabemum38 I was hoping to book it for when I was 7+ days as I read that’s the best time.

I've got a scan booked for when I will be 8+2-ish (20 days to go 😂). I've had one previous pregnancy which resulted in my ds so I have no real reason for wanting one, just feel really anxious this time for some reason

Morning everyone.
Loving the early scan talk. I had shoulder pain yesterday ended up having a scan to rule out an ectopic, it was too early 5+2 so I will have repeated bloods then a scan next week. Then I have a scan booked at 10 weeks. I was going to book for 8 but every two weeks seems excessive even for me
Can't wait until people start seeing their beans

Hello! Yes my boy was born 21 aug 2019 after a 72 hour labour so I'm really hoping this one is faster lol! Deffo seems ages ago and our little ones are getting big!!!

@Ell92 yeah I've got a scan booked in for when I'm 8+3, I had an early scan with my first aswell, I'm just an anxious person and I don't think I'd be able to wait untill 12 weeks!!

How soon should I contact my GP/ Midwife ?
Online says straight away but is it too early now ?

@chloed121 I’m feeling incredibly tired and thirsty which I’m finding odd. No sickness yet thankfully but I am peeing like a police horse! How are you feeling?

Has anyone else started telling family? Were telling family this weekend (it was my son's birthday last week so we are having them round (socially distanced in the garden, so within rules) and we've decided to tell them. I know its early, but I feel like if something were to go wrong then we would want their support anyway. Plus we have some extra complications aswell due to genetics so will probably need some extra family support along the way aswell.
We've already decided that were telling them, and have told my dad already, but for some reason it's making me more anxious. I know realistically that it won't actually make a difference, and I know other people who have told family this early aswell, but for some reason I'm just feeling a bit on edge

I get tired in the evenings and have been going to bed earlier than usual! My boobs have been very sensitive but not too bad! I don't feel bad in any way I've been thirsty too ! Making me drink lots which is good tho because I never used to drink enough really ! X

Hi everyone,

Hoping I can join in. I’m due December 7th with my first baby.
Hit the 5 week mark today and have two early scans booked, first is at 6w4d and the other is 8w3d so hoping to see a strong, healthy development.

Is anyone else having some anxiety over the prospect of baby loss/no heartbeat/ectopic pregnancy? I have thankfully never had to go through this in the past so I’m not sure why I’m so worried.

Counting down the days til my scan!

I think it's normal to feel anxious. I've never had a loss but I'm just a massive worrier & always think the worst, I was the same with my first aswell. I have an early scan at 8 weeks so just counting down the days and keeping everything crossed for a healthy bean and a good heartbeat 🤞🤞🤞 x

I'm similar to you, I'd worry about what to worry about.
I think I'll feel a lot better after the initial scan (we booked this privately so that we could have a sneak peek). Seeing a little heartbeat and having a photo will take a big weight off of my shoulders.

I'm FULL of symptoms, which apparently is a good thing (according to the midwife my friend had with her youngest). I just wish I could fast-forward a week or two!

@TreeRoad I feel exactly the same as you. Every day feels like a milestone. I have an early scan booked on Friday at 6+2. I'm trying to be prepared to be asked to come back if it's too early but I'm fairly certain of my dates so hoping all ok. I am also full of symptoms like you and have been since 2DPO 😂 so I'm hoping that's a good sign. I've been reading lots on statistics but also trying to just relax and do all the right things. I am a huge control freak so this is difficult for me!!! I'm also thinking I'll be booking another early scan before 12 weeks too for some reassurance hopefully!x

@Poptart90 we told our parents yesterday and it was really special 🥰 although it's early they understand we are cautious but I'm really glad we did it and will be grateful of the support should anything go wrong.
