I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

@MrsGee20 yes same!! I'm dreading it! I'm feeling quite normal still at 12dpo but I'm terrified I'll suddenly start feeling ill and really struggle at work. I'm also a bit more worried about anything that might impact on the pregnancy, even though I know COVID is not necessarily a massive risk in the first trimester it's just not ideal being about and about whilst pregnant in a pandemic!

Bexboo1 · 28/03/2021 20:09

@ohhisammi I'll be 10dpo tomorrow also doing my frer test! If I get a bfp I should also be 12th December! Af also due Sat for me too. Good luck and let me know how you get on

Tabbycat92 · 28/03/2021 20:40

Hello and congratulations @Leo090813

@Soexciting definitely is a busy thread! Mini baby-boom it would seem 😂

I know the feeling @MrsGee20 I'm on a 3day course and exam starting tomorrow 😭 at least there's a 4 day weekend coming up!

I feel a lot more breathless all of a sudden recently. God knows why, it's not like I'm carrying a huge baby weight yet! 😂

@Tabbycat92 I'm breathless too, I've read it's the progesterone that does it.

Defo looks like a mini baby moon, I've never known so many bfps on here. Pray we all get a healthy 9 months.

CCG92 · 28/03/2021 20:57

@MrsGee20 the lengths we go to to hide it 🤣

@coconutlatte44 @May2311 @Leo090813 congratulations and welcome! 🥳

@Dungareesandfreckles thank god for WFH! I think I'll be back to office soon too though 😭 Saying that, I was reading the Gov guidance for employers of pregnant women and it pretty much is saying that if we can work from home, we should be. So I think once my work know they'll maybe keep me at home 🤞🏼

@Bexboo1 fingers crossed for you! 🥰

Doolie89 · 28/03/2021 21:19

Hi, can I join the club 😊 got our bfp after 11 cycles on Tuesday. Estimated due date varies from 30th Nov - 1st Dec. Very excited and also very apprehensive. Been having cramps for about a week (thought AF was coming as they felt like the usual cramps), just wish there was a way to fast forward the next few weeks.

I read the government guidelines also. I'm interested to know what my work will say. I'm so tempted to tell my manager this week but also feel like I should wait until after my first scan? I've got my fingers crossed that your work let you WFH!

marcella64 · 28/03/2021 22:37

@Doolie89 Hi! Congratulations on your bfp after 11months. I got mine on Tuesday too, also due same dates. I've had cramps all week, I think most of us have on here.

Roll on early scans x

Soexciting · 28/03/2021 22:46

@MrsGee20 I feel the same but glad of the three day week plus lots of random Easter activities planned. I haven't done my planning which is not like me, I can seem to muster any f*cks to give.

sarby21 · 28/03/2021 22:48

@AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter I have a scan booked for 8 weeks so I was going to wait to tell my employer until then! I’m also waiting for either a contract extension or to be made permanent so I’m definitely not saying anything until then as I don’t want to get discriminated against :( I would feel more comfortable working from home so I hope my employer does let me when I tell them.

Poptart90 · 28/03/2021 22:52

Welcome and congratulations to the newcomers, it's so nice to have somewhere to come so I don't feel so alone in all of this!

I think I'm 17DPO, but not 100%, I'm just going from when I got the peak result on the CB fertility monitor thing. Im 4+2 today, not many symptoms, I'm very thirsty and have had some minor twinges/pulling low down, but that's about it now. May do another test tomorrow just for reassurance, haven't done one since Friday when AF was due.

ohhisammi · 28/03/2021 23:32

@Bexboo1 Yay we could be due date twins SmileDaffodil
Will definitely update tomorrow !

LBXXX · 28/03/2021 23:59

Hi I’m just jumping on! FTM due 3rd or 4th December. Found out I was pregnant a week ago at 8DPO!

Halpmer · 29/03/2021 03:00

Hey everyone! Great to see others with their BFPs ❤️. I'm very early days (only 3 weeks and so many days) but if I have a sticky one I'll be due 8th-10th December!

MrsGee20 · 29/03/2021 06:00

@Soexciting me neither! We had assessment week last week and I’ve still got assessments unmarked despite the data being due today 🤣🙈 so not like me! Although I do have ppa this morning so - little wins! I cannot see anything productive being done today!

WelshLass24 · 29/03/2021 06:30

Phwoaaar, I'm a mega gassy lady at the best of times, but I've just woken up with mega cramping 🤯 Pretty sure it was gas as it's gone now. Apparently increase in progesterone causes this. Is anyone else experiencing increased flatulence?!

Halpmer · 29/03/2021 06:54

@WelshLass24 I tell you what, I'm in the same boat 💨 constant gas from one end or the other and the heartburn when I'm hungry is wild.

Gspps · 29/03/2021 07:09

Morning ladies hope you're all well!

I'm still hesitant to call the drs until af is due which would be Wednesday, what do you guys think?

Also my other half is really excited but underlying I feel like he's a little scared , obviously it's a big deal, any tips to help ?x

May2311 · 29/03/2021 07:28

Morning all!

@Gspps my GP says to ring whenever to be referred but I'll wait till next week probably just because I'm only early and as it's my 2nd I know I'm not high risk so don't need any extra medication etc. ( sometimes you might need extra vitamins or aspirin)

so I did a weeks indicator the other day and got 1-2. I will be 14DPO tomorrow so should I be 2-3 by then? So ovulation & conception do they tend to be the same day? Xx

Tabbycat92 · 29/03/2021 07:37

Welcome @Doolie89 , @Halpmer and @LBXXX congratulations!

@CCG92 my boss who recently went on mat leave was able to work in the office until 30weeks. But that was optional. Being a manager I feel an obligation to be in the office for my staff, which is a shame as would love to wfh indefinitely

@sarby21 I didn't tell my employer until 12weeks last time and that was plenty enough time for them to work things out

@WelshLass24 me! I'm always mega gassy anyway, But the gas pains woke me up last night too

marcella64 · 29/03/2021 07:40

@WelshLass24 very windy yesterday!!! This is not like me 🥴 Poor hubby!

queenatom · 29/03/2021 07:45

@May2311, the weeks indicator runs off of the level of hCG in your urine, which will only really start being produced when implantation occurs; when this takes place can vary a fair bit from person to person (anywhere from 6 - 12 DPO). The hCG threshold for 2-3 weeks is 153 - hCG should roughly double every 48 hours in the initial few weeks. For me, I had a negative test at 10 DPO and a faint positive at 11 DPO, so I waited 8 days from my first positive to retest with a digital (the first day I’d be over the 153 threshold using conservative doubling figures). All this to say, don’t stress if you retest at 14 DPO and it still says 1-2 weeks; you’re probably just a little early.

@WelshLass24 the gas is ridiculous. I have no idea how I’m going to be able to go out in public if I stay this gassy.

Leo090813 · 29/03/2021 07:56
@Leo090813 Yes, first. I’m 30 🌟 how about you? I’m feeling really anxious, particularly about all the things I’ve just learnt about like chemical pregnancies and the likes but also excited! In terms of symptoms, I just have cramps at the moment. Do you have any symptoms?

@MrsGee20 No, I don’t - especially because I didn’t work on Friday because I was way too emotional! Perhaps you could ask for a day off for a mental health day? I think if you need the time to process be kind to yourself! ❤️
I'm 30 too :-) this is my second, have a 7 year old son from previous relationship! This is my partners first so he's so excited and I'm so excited for him to be a daddy!!

I also work from home and I'm praying my employer doesn't ask me back to work mow the stay at home message has changed? Are people telling their employer this early? I wouldn't really want to this early but if it keeps me WFH then I will have to!!

Can't believe how many December babies are due Smile

I rang my doctor when I found out just so they had a record, as I had a MC couple months ago. Didn't even put me through to a doc, the receptionist just put a note on my file I believe :)

My OH is the same, very excited but I can tell he is absolutely bricking it and I don't know what to say or do to make that better!!! I suppose it's still sinking in for them like it is us too,Grin

Poptart90 · 29/03/2021 08:10

4+3 today and got a lovely strong positive 🥰 going to do another dugi mid week, I did one last Monday and it was 1-2 so I'm hoping if I wait till mid week it'll be 2-3 😊

Due December 2021 thread!
