I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

Hi !
I hope you don't mind me jumping on here Smile
I'm going to do my first early response test tomorrow (9dpo) and have more to use this week if it's bfn.
AF due on Saturday.

First time TTC.

If I get a BFP will be due around 12th Dec Grin

Fingers crossed for me please !

Tabbycat92 · 28/03/2021 14:58

Welcome @Gspps and congratulations! Call the gp whenever, you'll get referred to midwives who then will book your first apt for when you are around 8weeks 😊 how are you feeling? Any symptoms yet?

@ohhisammi best of luck and fingers crossed 🤞 for you!

Thanks ladies, it obviously wasn't meant to be for me this time. DS has kept me very busy today with trips to the park etc and I have sent DH out for steak, red wine and chocolate ice cream which will hopefully make me feel a bit better.
Hope you all have happy and healthy journeys until December xx

AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter · 28/03/2021 15:26

@RockyisMYRhino your dinner sounds amazing- enjoy! Sending lots of positive vibes for a future BFP.

Hi and congratulations to all the newbies!

I've still got cramps and feeling really tired, but that could be the lack of caffeine. I'm already making to-do lists of all the things I want to sort before baby comes!

I'm going to call the GP to arrange my booking in appointment tomorrow.

CCG92 · 28/03/2021 15:41

@Gspps congratulations and welcome! 🥳

@ohhisammi fingers, arms and legs crossed for you lovely! 😘

@RockyisMYRhino thinking about you xx

@AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter ohhh I love a list!!!

marcella64 · 28/03/2021 15:42

@AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter I'm crampy at least once a day, was exhausted yesterday. I'm reluctant to refer to the midwifery team, like I'll jinx myself or something 🥴 x

Hope everyone's having a good weekend x

Gspps · 28/03/2021 15:49

Thank you all! Xx

@Tabbycat92 okay will call my dr in the week, doesn't seem real! My periods not even due until Tuesday / Wednesday haha not sure whether to wait until then!

I've been getting cramps that are quite constant and feel a bit like a radiating pain, hard to explain! Any tips on what to do, or shall I just chill until the 8 week appt haha x

MrsGee20 · 28/03/2021 16:01

@Gspps I know exactly what you mean! It’s like hot cramping but constant and not as sore as periods! No tips unfortunately sorry 😂

Went to our friends before to drop off a present, they invited us round the back for 10 mins in the garden (no judgement please, this is allowed in 8 hours time 😂) and their little girl had me on the trampoline. Picture me feeling sick and trying not to blooming wet myself but unable to make any excuses ha!

coconutlatte44 · 28/03/2021 16:07

Hi all! 4 weeks-ish at the moment, managed to hold off my test until af was due (yesterday) and got a beautiful line!
I’ve had a quick skim of the last few pages and so pleased I’m not the only one with a toddler still up feeding at night! I’m still bf-ing my 14 month old and we managed to get down to 1-2 feeds a night but the last couple of weeks he has been on 3 feeds and an early wake (between 4:45-5:30). Brutal!! Good thing he wasn’t doing this during my fertile week or this wouldn’t have happened 😭😭 I had a mc with my first pregnancy (mmc discovered at 8 weeks) and have had spotting around 6-8 weeks with both mc and DS so I know there could be a rocky road ahead but feel much more calm about it the second time around! Hope everyone is feeling ok!

Due December 2021 thread!
Gspps · 28/03/2021 16:07

@MrsGee20 yes! It doesn't quite feel like period pains at the minute, I knew it felt different so I just did a test 😬

No judgement here at all!! 🥰 that sounds hilarious hahaha, glad you made it🤣 I haven't really had any other symptoms yet at all but guess it's too early! Sure I'll be moaning in a couple weeks xx

Tabbycat92 · 28/03/2021 16:26

@coconutlatte44 hello and congratulations!! That's a lovely dark line!

@Gspps & @MrsGee20 I had the same cramps too, they've been gone since getting into week 4

coconutlatte44 · 28/03/2021 17:03

Oh, I have those cramps too and that’s why I also pretty much knew I was pg before I tested. I had them with my previous pregnancies as well! It’s just things moving around in there and getting ready to grow your little poppy seed 🙂

Dungareesandfreckles · 28/03/2021 17:28

Hi @Gspps I feel EXACTLY the same about calling the doctors. I almost feel a bit silly, but I think I’ll call next week. It feels way to soon, but I guess that’s the next thing on the list to do 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@coconutlatte44 wow, that’s an awesome line. Congrats!! Flowers

Does anyone know if when we call the doctor’s they do a scan at 8 weeks, or does one book a private appointment for a reassurance scan? I’m really confused by this! I absolutely think I’d like a scan at 8 weeks to ease at least some anxiety and start getting excited with a bit less worry ❤️

Also, but sorry for the essay but I can’t believe people go into work for three months with all these symptoms. Me and my bf were just talking about it... and I’ve never thought about it before but it seems mad 😂 poor women!

I thought the exact same the other day @Dungareesandfreckles !

I can't believe woman have to work right through it all ! I'm really glad I'm WFH Grin

Dungareesandfreckles · 28/03/2021 17:47

@ohhisammi me too at the moment. But the offices are opening soon... June/July and I think I’ll be having to go into London 2/3 days a week. Eek!

May2311 · 28/03/2021 17:52

Hi everyone 😊 Congratulations!

Hope you don't mind if I jump onto the tread!

I found out a few days ago that I'm pregnant and due approx 5 December. This will be baby no.2 and my DD is coming up 11 months.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy & looking forward to going on this journey with you all!

Xxx

queenatom · 28/03/2021 17:59

Hi @Dungareesandfreckles, unless there is a specific medical reason I think you’d need to book an 8 week reassurance scan privately - that’s what I’ve done anyway!

Gspps · 28/03/2021 18:11

@Dungareesandfreckles glad I'm not the only one!! It just doesn't feel quite real yet haha

I think I might book a private early scan too just for piece of mind.

Does anyone else get pain in their left side in the pelvic area ?x

Tabbycat92 · 28/03/2021 19:06

@Dungareesandfreckles you need to book a private scan. The nhs only scan at 12weeks and 20weeks

With my last pregnancy the girls in work guessed at 8weeks when I went for my apt as I work at the hospital where the apt was

@May2311 congratulations! And welcome to the group

Yay I can finally join a pregnancy thread!!
Congrats to everyone!

I'm 11/12 dpo after trying since May last year, with a early MC in Late Jan. Got my positive on digital today so I'm chuffed!! Due date is 7th December. Second child but first with my current partner. Have a 7yo boy.

So nice to have this thread! I'm needing a wee every 15 minutes and waking at ridiculous o clock every morning!

So excited to speak to others in sane situation!

Dungareesandfreckles · 28/03/2021 19:32

Congrats @Leo090813 - and you are my 11DPO twin! ❤️

Leo090813 · 28/03/2021 19:38

Congrats *@Leo090813* - and you are my 11DPO twin! ❤️
Yay!! Congratulations!! Is this your first? I've got a lot of thread to catch up on Smile how are you feeling? X
Soexciting · 28/03/2021 19:41

So sorry RockyisMYRhino. Wishing you the very best of luck for next month.

Welcome to all the new people.

Such a busy thread I can barely keep up.

4 weeks 4 days today I can't believe how slow it's all going but at least we are 10% of the way there...

MrsGee20 · 28/03/2021 19:42

Anyone else SO not wanting to go into work tomorrow? I’ve been really emotional today and just don’t want to leave DH’s side, he’s like my safety blanket at the moment whilst nobody else knows! I am a primary teacher too so not like I get a minutes peace 😂😂

Any tips? 🤞

Dungareesandfreckles · 28/03/2021 19:55

@Leo090813 Yes, first. I’m 30 🌟 how about you? I’m feeling really anxious, particularly about all the things I’ve just learnt about like chemical pregnancies and the likes but also excited! In terms of symptoms, I just have cramps at the moment. Do you have any symptoms?

@MrsGee20 No, I don’t - especially because I didn’t work on Friday because I was way too emotional! Perhaps you could ask for a day off for a mental health day? I think if you need the time to process be kind to yourself! ❤️
