I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

I had a bit of a wobble last night did a cheapie with evening wee and it was so faint, then my clearblue had turned off since it had been 24 hours. Thank goodness for this thread or I would have really panicked but I still felt a bit...not pregnant.

Insomnia last night which is not great when you have a 15 month old who wakes up at the crack of dawn for mummy milk and twirlywoos!

Why do the days in the first trimester feel like months? Surely I am 300 years pregnant already, I have known for ages!

Thanks all! @Soexciting I know I don't really feel pregnant either! It's a strange feeling! It dosent feel real yet and I'm finding it really hard to imagine a baby here!! We brought our house 6 months ago and said we'd probably start ttc in about a year/2 years then when my sisters wedding got postponed in Jan we just decided to start trying! How did everyone else decide?xx

We decided to start trying as we didn't want a gap any bigger, and I'd always wanted to have had two children by 30, I'll be 30 in January! Also, my brothers wedding got postponed to next April instead of this, so though we'd go for it

I'm gonna have to get new maternity stuff this time. The majority of my pregnancy was through winter last time, so I'm gonna need summer stuff!

Just got my BFP 2 days ago think my due date is about December 5th 🙌🙌🥰 this will be baby #2, I have an 18 month old little boy who I had in Dubai but we have since moved home to Ireland so I guess the prenatal experience will be a little different here! Hoping by December too that the COVID restrictions in hospitals will have eased a lot Xx

@lucea87 it’s pretty accurate, and most of their stuff is really comfortable- the knot front dresses are great, I’ve got them in so many colours and styles!

For me, starting trying when we did (last June) was a compromise - I was ready to start the summer before but my husband wanted to wait until after our first wedding anniversary (end of March) and then because of the pandemic it took months before I could get my Nexplanon implant removed.

Finally got a decent night's sleep last night (...relatively speaking, was still up for around an hour at 3am). I think being out of tests has definitely helped a little with that!

@Soexciting it's the best waste of a fiver 🤣 Hope you're feeling a bit better this morning! Sometimes I feel VERY pregnant and other times I feel totally normal, trying to hold on to the fact that that is meant to be normal at this stage 🤞🏼 And yes....we have been pregnant for 300 years surely!?

@Arrierttyclock we always had a plan of getting my coil out and starting to try straight after our wedding in May this year. However due to Covid our honeymoon to Mauritius and Dubai was cancelled 😭 So we decided to just get my coil out start of Feb. I've had gyne problem in the past, haven't had a period for 7 years, didn't think I was ovulating and my sister took 5 years with help to get pregnant - so we absolutely believed it was going to be a long road. First bloody try 🤣 So blessed and lucky, that's for sure.

I woke up feeling SO sick today for the first time. I don't feel like I'm going to be sick, but can't stop gagging. Hopefully it passes through the day as I have my virtual henny tonight - and cannot be gagging through it 🤣 Wish me luck on acting drunk guys 🤣

Hey all! Hope you don’t mind me joining! I found out I was pregnant 2 days ago at 9dpo. Lines have been getting darker(I think)thank god and just for my positive on the digital clearblue. I ovulated so early so I’m 3 weeks and 2 days which is mental. My period is due Tuesday so cannot wait for it to be Wednesday 😂. I’ve calculated I’m due 9th/10th December. I’ve been having headaches, cramping(hope this is normal?) and slight nausea. My boobs are starting to get more tender. When did your boobs start to hurt? Xx

Boob ache was one of my first symptoms, but then it was also a PMT symptom so I didn't recognise it at first.

Hope you have fun tonight @CCG92, fingers crossed the nausea holds off and you give an Oscar-worthy "drunk" performance! I've found I feel iffy first thing in the morning so I'm going to try a ginger biscuit before getting up tomorrow and see if it helps.

How are you guys feeling? I have a constant faint cramp feeling and need a wee constantly, other than that I’m okay... I’m getting so excited just hope all goes well!

@nadsc @MrsGee20 congratulations and welcome! 🥳 All sounds normal lovely. Most of us here have had some cramping/twinging. As long as it's not really painful and alongside bleeding ☺️ My boobs have been sore since about 3 weeks - so a week before I found out. I get bloated in the evenings and seem to feel pretty normal through the days apart from feeling light headed.

@Arthien I'll try my best for the Oscar performance 🤣 Sicky feeling is starting to ease off already 🤞🏼 I've heard a lot of people speak about ginger biscuits for nausea.

I have the exact same symptoms, I did have during my first pregnancy too. I kind of like it though as it's signs that there is actually something in there .

Can I ask what (if any) changes everyone is planning to make now that you're pregnant? Ie cutting certain foods out, walking more etc?

@Soexciting are you still BF?! So am I! I want to stop but my son loves it. Still feeds twice in the night...zzzzz

@AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter My fiancé is already being crazy and won’t let me have any processed food 🙄 so probably cutting out a lot of that and caffeine for now! I’m going to try and walk a lot too. Especially when I go back to work in two weeks as I refuse to get on that tube!!!

Welcome @nadsc my boobs have been on and off aches, not properly hurting yet, but then they didn't really hurt much at all last pregnancy (I don't have very sensitive boobs). I've defo been getting a lot of headaches though

@Arrierttyclock not having a poo for a month -my god no wonder you were in so much pain! Brings back memories of recovering from my DD after a c-section and feeling like I was pushing out a very hard swiss roll

@Tabbycat92 I’m a stone heavier than I was when I fell with Dd too so we can be in the same boat together!

So lovely to see and hear all your progressions, I had a dye stealer yesterday and I’m 5 weeks today.
