Due December 2021 thread!

I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

I'm another one waking up early- I'm always up for a wee in the middle of the night but I always go back to sleep- today I was up at 5 full of energy! Today's the day AF is due so I'm on tenterhook.
I'm 4 weeks today- I'm going to tell my mum abs sister tomorrow- I know it's early but If anything happened I'd want them to know anyway. I'm so excited- it's my mums first grandchild and she's been dyyyyyyying for someone to have a child 😂

When's everyone planning on telling their parents?

I hadn't done a test since finding out last weekend, so wanted to test after a week to see progress. Got a dye stealer and CB digi moved up. Woohooo! 5 weeks today! 🥳

Does anyone here take Levothyroxine for an under active Thyroid? I Can’t remember when I was pregnant with my boys previously if my dosage got increased right from the start or from my booking appointment / bloods

@Arrierttyclock my dates are the same as yours, im 4 weeks today, and AF due today aswell so I'm also on tenterhooks! I POAS this morning and the line was nice and dark and came up quickly which has reassured me.

I'm hoping to not take another test untill I take a digital mid week next week, it can become a bit obsessive 🙈

I keep waking up early too which isn't preparing me well for night shifts tonight 🤣 but I made it through the night without waking up to wee!!

@Arrierttyclock aww bet your mum will be so pleased. I don't know when I'm going to tell my parents, maybe in a few weeks when it feels more real! My sister already knows as I was moaning to her about TTC!

I do- last time I increased it straight away and then it turn out my levels were too low and I had to go back to my original dose. Think I’ll just wait for booking in bloods this time.

@Pennyh123 I do, rang my GP and they upped my dose straight away and booked me in for bloods in a few weeks to check it's where it needs to be. I was on a quite low dose though.

@CCG92 Congratulations - your tests look great!

@bizawit I am 4+1 I think so very early days. Last time I was the same weight at my sweep as I was at booking so lost loads of weight just by having the baby. But I have a high BMI so staying the same is advised. I am going to try to be healthy until booking to hopefully lose a bit and avoid some of the unnecessary extras I had last time.

Passing your AF day is such a milestone. I definitely felt calmer and more confident.
I told my parents the morning after I found out. If something goes wrong I want their support. I also told my friend. We have the exact same gap in our pregnancies as we had this time two years ago which is weird but lovely.

@CCG92 haha pregnancy boobs are crazy! Haha the shrimp alien at least looks slightly humanoid unlike the vulva 😂
Also those are lovely dark line! I'm desperate for a test that looks like that! Though I am still using ICs. Maybe I'll invest in something better

@queenatom that's a perfect dark line. My test line is still lighter than my control line, and i ran out of tests so not sure if I'll buy more or give up and trust in the ones I've done already

@Soexciting @Bizawit same, I'm constantly hungry. Unfortunately one isn't for healthy things. The last two nights I've managed to resist as DH sits chomping through a pack of chocolate hobnobs

I've told my friend that I'm pregnant now, she's about 3 weeks ahead of me which is nice

Also an early riser here, generally awake from 6 when alarm isn't until 7 which is frustrating.
Also for the last couple days I've had the worst metallic taste in my mouth. I'm going through mouthwash like I don't know. 4+2 here now 😊

Aww you'll get it, remember I'm 5 weeks so maybe a little bit further than you too. The IC's are much less sensitive aren't they, maybe just buy one FRER so you can get your dark line 🥰

@Tabbycat92 I'm 4+2 too! And I'm also victim of metallic mouth. I've had it since before my first positive test and was my first symptom. I'm used to it now

@Tabbycat92 You definitely get a stronger line on the FRERs than on ICs - my control line is still just about darker than the test line on those.

@Soexciting, would you mind telling me a little bit about some of the extras you had last time because of high BMI? My BMI is also high, so interested to know how things might end up being different because of this.

So interesting to hear people hitting AF day with a positive test, which I guess isn't that uncommon - my luteal phase was super short (10 days on average) so when I got my first positive at 11 DPO I was already due my period.

@CCG92 joining you with my 2-3 digi! I'm 4+2, going to leave the tests alone now and test mid next week for line progression and clear blue next Friday. Hope you all have a lovely day xx

@queenatom another short luteal phase here too. My AF was due on 11dpo got my positive at 9dpo

To make sure my lines are staying dark. I had 5 misscaridges in my 20s so until I get a scan I'll be testing I think xx

Loving these progress pics! I just did a cheapie this morning and it was the darkest I've had yet! Not quite a dye stealer but don't think I'm far off! Can digi next Wednesday or Thursday for me. Might do a FRER over the weekend!x

@marcella64 aww sorry to hear that, that must have been really hard. If it reassures you to keep seeing progress then do it ☺️ Bring on the scans though too!!

@lucea87 that's good about getting the darkest yet! FRER are definitely the most sensitive. I didn't know what the big rave about them was when I started reading threads on here - but now I know why they are loved by everyone!
My CB digi was flashing 3+ but then landed on 2-3 so think I'm just below the HCG reading for 3+ 🤩

I am bloody exhausted today! Pray to god I sleep better tonight.

The doctors have said it'll be another week before I'm registered. This is so frustrating! I know I won't be due an appointment for a few weeks but just want to get the ball rolling, feel like I'm in limbo!

I know how you feel, @lucea87, sent in my self-referral to the midwives last Friday and still heard nothing. Not sure at what point it becomes acceptable to chase!

I've also bitten the bullet and booked in a private scan for 8 weeks. It feels a very long time away from where we currently are...!

Girls, i'm so worried that this pregnancy is not going to progress. My lines haven't got any darker since I first took a test on Wednesday. I was going to wait until tomorrow to test again but just did one this afternoon and it's still barely visible. I'm feeling a bit lost now and now I don't want to get excited. Is anyone else had the same experience?

@babyguacamole so sorry to hear that. Are you able to post photos? How many dpo are you? Is AF late?
