I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

@Wiltshire90 ohh yeah, not the most pregnancy friendly 🤣 I was in forensic mental health nursing for years and I'm certainly glad I'm not there anymore - A LOT of violence. Must be a worry being in a job like that while pregnant! I now work from home, and currently in pjs most day 🙈

@Wiltshire90 @CCG92 I'm the same, may have to tell work early, I'm not sure what our policy is. I do high risk community work so not sure I'll be aloud out on visits 😫 otherwise I'm working from home in my pjs too lol.

@CCG92 that sounds so interesting! I expect you dealt with very similar sections of society! It is a bit of a worry, every job I go to I worry it could turn violent or I could be in a crash on a response run. I got punched in the face at the end of January and was left with a nasty black eye so I don't want a repeat of that! Not too long now though. Hopefully I'll be joining you in my PJs working from home 🤣

@marcella64 yeah I have no regrets of leaving nursing. 9 years was enough 🤣 Pj's at home is the life! Think I'll be back in office soon though.

@Wiltshire90 it was males who were serving prison sentences, but were too mentally unwell to be in the prison. So they served their time in our forensic unit instead. Terrible violence and restraining constantly - thank god I'm not still there! How long do you think you'll wait to tell them? It's hard as the choice is kind of taken out of your hands in jobs like that, you have to tell them. Bring on the pj life! 🤣

Hello! Can I join?! Just found out today at 10dpo that I'm pregnant! Due 2 December. Will be my third! Got a Ds14 and a dd12!

@CCG92 it's 9th April. I've rechecked my maths and I think my due date is 1st December but if I get a 'lazy' due date it'll be 26th November but I have a longer cycle.

@marcella64 fingers crossed. It says a rescan is offered if they can't complete the scan 🤞🏼

@milki good for you guys! You'll be great! My sense of smell is insane!! I can smell what's in the fridge from the other side of the house 😂

@frols yay to those tests! So far I have resisted today!!

@PlantMummy87 I'm the same. I've resisted today but no doubt will test tomorrow. I have 2 more FRER and 6 cheapies plus 3 CB Digi's but I'm trying to save those for once a week so I can see the progression....!

@Bizawit yep I hear you! I'm exhausted. Asleep before 10pm but then awake at 5am for my wee and then can't get back to sleep!! I'm gonna drink more tonight (I can't not drink as I suffer with UTI's) so hopefully I'll wake up earlier to wee then get back to sleep earlier 😂🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

@CCG92 god I bet that was hard! I did a brief stint working in secure psychiatric units and the restraining there was tiring enough!! Some officers I've worked with have gone up until 12 weeks (one went til 5 months and her body armour wouldn't do up!). It really depends if I start being sick or too ill to work as I'll have to tell them then. I want to do at least a few more weeks ideally.

@ccg92 o am also working from home in leggings and hoodys/ usually braless!! 🤣 was already thinking my old work wardrobe won't fit by the time I get back to the office (cuz lockdown body!!) Now it definitely won't!!

@bizawit, I had a couple of days about 5 days before my BFP where I was absolutely exhausted and my body felt like it had been hot by a truck!! 🚚

Wide awake and can't sleep tonight! The app has moved on to 5 weeks now though - woohoo! I've gone from the creepy vulva to the little shrimp alien now @Tabbycat92 🤣

3am and awake as usual - I seem to have a trapped nerve or something in my right hip which is making sleep even trickier. However, took the opportunity to do some middle of the night testing - line is looking nice and dark and got my 2-3 weeks on the digital ☺️ I think I might just about be ready to stop testing!

Ok so plan didn't work 😂 woke up at midnight for a wee. This is ok, got back to sleep quickly. Then woke up at 3.50 to someone getting in their car and reversing off their drive (sleep with the window on lock as I am like a permanent hot water bottle 😂) and been on and off since. Morning sickness and dodgy tummy (seems to be an early morning thing too) started about 6. Urgh.

@bizawit I am the same. Waking up before my alarm every morning and full of energy but then going to sleep at the same time as my 15 month old most nights. Actually have to make an effort to stay up and talk to DH tonight.

I am also eating so much, luckily mostly craving healthy things but can't stop eating. I wonder if it's the breastfeeding whilst pregnant. I maybe am overcompensating because I am worried about being able to support both at the same time.

It's Friday ladies so hopefully most of us will have a couple of days off work to relax. I am just trying to get to the Easter holidays, all I want is weeks at home growing my baby in peace without everyone guessing. I didn't tell anyone until 17 weeks last time. I might try for 20 this time and then request to work from home after 28

@Soexciting my work don't envisage letting us out much before September. I'm hoping I don't have to go back out to be honest, hoping I can work from home mostly until I can start mat leave. I'm trying to save as much holiday as possible but they have a 25% per quarter rule in place still because of the impact of Covid, hoping that's lifted in July so that I can save 3 weeks 🤞🏼

Haven’t told them yet @Babycakes39! Planning to wait until things feel more certain. I’m hoping they’ll love the idea of a baby sibling, but who knows! 😬
