I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

Hmmm I'm considering this now. The place I have my scan booked offers this for £400 and also includes a 4D scan and sexting scan or bloods 🧐🧐

Who is finding out what they are having?

@lucea87 I think we will be finding out the sex. I already have a really strong feeling about the sex, which is strange as I never get a feeling either way with friends pregnancies!

Here is my silly first time pregnancy query! 🤔

If I ovulated on 11th March, it was then or then abouts that I got pregnant putting me at 2 weeks pregnant today, however apps show me as 4+4, which obviously goes off my last period. Which just seems wierd too me as obviously the first 2 weeks I wasn't actually pregnant but they are counted 🤔 so going forward working out dates for scans etc do I use 4+4 from now? Although if I take a digital now will it say 1-2 weeks?! 🤯🤔🤣🙈

@Neom87 clinically it's 4+4 as the folocur phase (first day of your period) is when they date from. It's all so confusing, you will be a pro by the end xx

So girls, thought I'd share how bloated I am! I'm 4 weeks today 😩 My 9lb babies have defo stretched my poor uterus lol. Anyone else in the same boat? I'm a size 10-12 so this isn't normal for me. X

Yeah it is confusing! The CB digi leaflet actually does tell you what the equivalent is though. For example 1-2 actually means 3-4 ☺️

I read up loads on all this stuff (another anxiety sufferer here) and from what I've read the spotting is totally normal. Fingers crossed its all OK xxx

Ah thanks @marcella64 and @ccg92 - that makes sense now! I used to think those digi meant 1-2 weeks pregnant but seeing it as 1-2 since conception it ties up now!

@marcella64 are you uncomfortable? 😌 I have IBS so even though i am 8-10 I can quite often look like I am 6 months pregnant come the end of a day!! I was massively bloated even more so than usual the night before I took the pregnancy test and it had fuelled my suspicions a bit more.

Oh my gosh @marcella64 looks painful 😥 I suffer with IBS too but not this badly. It's really flared up this week though.

@CCG92 I was always against finding out but I think we are actually going to find out!

@lucea87 I was always against it too, but my fiancé always said he would want to know. Now that I have this really strong feeling about the sex, I do want to know 🤣

I'm going to book in a window to the womb- they can scan from 6 weeks which is awesome. We've said we don't want to find the sex out but I'm convinced it's a boy already 😂

I found out the sex of my last baby and I never thought I would. My husband convinced me and I'm so glad
It made choosing a name easy, I felt a strong bond because I could refer to the baby as his name to my husband before he was born. I think I will find out this time too :)

@Neom87 it's not painful, I just blow up in the evenings, especially if I've eaten carbs or gluten.

We're booking a scan for 16/04, will be almost 8 weeks. I think I'm slightly delirious and still in shock ya know 🥴 xx

What sex do you think you're having? I didn't find out last time, but I got it right based off of nub theory. This time we are going to find out. We actually tried to 'sway' the gender this time using the Babydust Method. We have swayed girl as DH has always been adamant that we are only having two children, so I'd love one of each.

@Neom87 it is very odd isn't it, but at least it makes you further along than you thought!

I'm worried about how much weight I'm gonna gain this pregnancy. Last time I gained 3 stone, and this time I'm starting out a stone heavier than I did last time 😬damn lockdown pigging! 😂

We went to the foetal medicine centre for our early scan, I think it was £100? They were fantastic.

We found out the sex with DS and kept it a secret, and I think we probably will this time too.

@Tabbycat92 bless you 😘 I got back in they gym when DS was 18 months, hired a personal trainer 🙈 Yes I'm worried about not springing back like I did in my 20s. My plan is to watch my calories and remain active.
Everyone is different tho, I know girls who gain loads and eat healthy and girls who gain nothing and eat crap. The eating for 2 saying is crap tho, a efficient placenta will use what you consume to feed baby.

Talking of placentas, anyone put there's in to capsules before? X

I booked an early scan today for 26th April, I'll be around 8+3 then (I think)
We found out the sex with our first and we will do the same this time aswell. I'm far too impatient to wait 🤣

I can't wait to see everyone's scans and hear about them!! I booked mine quite late a 9 weeks, but it's because I want some reassurance just before the wedding day. 🤞🏼

@marcella64 yeah luckily after DS I actually managed to get to a lower weight than I've ever been before. I think it was thanks to the breastfeeding tbh! Hoping for the same again. Just desperate to not be 'that fat pregnant lady'. And I have my cousins wedding in October!
No never considered the capsules. Apparently I heard a lot of people react badly to them

@marcella64 I've been looking into these and I think I'm going to do it- lots of benefits! Not heard of anyone reacting badly tho! Will have to research that!

I'm sooooo worried about putting weight on!! I lost 2 stone with SW and still do it now- well until yesterday. I'm so worried about putting on all the weight again- I've just got to remember I'm growing a baby and I can loose it again.
