Congrats @MrsMcNtobe and @Taybz on your scans yesterday! I also had my dating scan yesterday, terrified is not the word after previous bad experience, but so happy to say everything was perfect. Some hope for those who may have had a MMC before too!

Was anyone's EDD brought forward to earlier even though they're pretty sure they weren't ovulating/didn't have sex at that time? I thought I was 11+5 but dated as 12+2.

Also, if anyone is good at the nub or skull theory let me know if you have any guesses! We will be having a private sex scan at 16 weeks

@showmorekindness lovely scan! I thought I was 11+4 and was dated at 12 exactly! I guess it just depends on implantation dates etc.

I am feeling guilty because I skipped my run this morning. It's windy, cold and raining, and I was so tired. I had a shower then snuggled up on the sofa with the dog and napped for an hour. Now watching a bit of telly before work. Bliss ❤️

@showmorekindness congratulations on your scan so pleased for you. Yes my EDD was brought forward from 26 to 19 sept. I def know I didn’t wasn’t having sex then as I had Covid and sick in bed but I guess it is what it is. I know some friends who had their date changed multiple times during their pregnancy so I wouldn’t be surprised if they push back again later on given I know when u conceived.

I can’t even imagine, walking the dog is enough effort for me at the moment 😅 Enjoy your morning, there’s always tomorrow ☺️

Had my scan this morning! Due date is the 14th now ☺️ They couldn’t see any sign of the bleed around baby which I’m breathing a sigh of relief for! Sat waiting to see the consultant now ☺️

I don’t think I can see a nub to try and guess what the sex is! What do you ladies think?

Does anyone else feel like a whole weight has been lifted off their shoulders after the scan? I'm such a worry-wart and can finally breathe! 😊

@Taybz I posted on fb last night and I definitely feel like a weight has been lifted, going to book private gender scan for 3/4 weeks time I think.. I can’t wait any longer 🙈

Me too @MrsMcNtobe, booked one for 17 weeks! I thought I was having a girl but I think the 12 week scan picture looks like a boy! I don't mind which but just really want to know ☺

Lovely news about scans and great pictures! I love to see scan pictures, though mine isn't very clear. So exciting .

@AdventuresAwait eeeek so exciting! What date will you be 17 weeks? Have you bought anything yet? I keep looking at blankets and little things but I kinda want to wait til shops open so I can enjoy nosying around (I also really miss primark😂)

100% on the weight lifted thing! I feel so much better now having had my scan last week, if only my tiredness would abate a bit I would feel so much happier 🤣

Girls, I'm also dying to know the sex. Tbh I'm hoping for a girl but I also feel like my scan picture indicates boy! I'd be happy with the latter of course as long it's a healthy baby.

My skin is becoming dry as a cactus and nipples are so flaky! Any recommendations for good creams? Clearly the pregnancy glow fairy has not reached me yet! 😆

the weight was lifted from my scan last week but I was still anxious awaiting the chromosome abnormalities risk to come back especially due to my age but I just open the post and my risk is low!

I'm so relieved, this feels so much better than just walking out the scan.

I've also go all my growth scans through which means I can always have the next to look forward to.

That doesn't stop me considering having a scan to find out the sex in 2 weeks but my DP really isn't bothered before the 20 week scan. We will see!

Wow there’s so much to catch up on! Missed a few days - now that I’m back in school teaching, trying to entertain a toddler and keep on top of the housework, I have no time and zero energy! I’m starting to panic slightly how I’m going to cope with two! 🥴

Congrats to everyone who’s had their scans! So nice to see the scan pics! 🥰 is anyone planning on not finding out the sex of the baby? I’m on the fence at the moment about whether to or not!

I've just found some amazing cream I've been using for my dry skin - palmers cocoa butter. It smells amazing and isn't greasy.

We want to find out the gender but we will probably wait till the 20 week scan I think. (she says). I've got some time off at Easter to start decorating the nursery so excited for that with DH!

@bubbles1st glad it all came back okay! I had my scan and bloods last Wednesday pm so I'm hoping if it was bad news I'd have heard by now...

Here's my scan from today. Due date 21st September which makes me 12+1. Anyone believe in the heart rate predicting gender? Over 140 is meant to mean girl, under 140 is boy. Heart rate measured at 160 for baby today! I'm definitely going to find out at the 20 week scan

I’m having a bit of a panic this afternoon. So as you may have seen I’m having some spotting at the moment, which I wasn’t worried about because I’ve had it before and all was fine. HOWEVER, I got a letter through this morning because I’ve got Rh Neg blood, and it said if you have any bleeding you need to tell the midwife. So, I call the midwife and she says “Right, as you’re over 10 weeks and Rh Neg you need to ring the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit” so, I ring the EPU. They (after a team huddle about it during which I was meant to be on hold but could hear the whole thing and it hardly filled me with confidence) come to the conclusion because I’m not yet 12 weeks (I’m 12 weeks on Friday 🤔) I shouldn’t need the anti-D, but if the bleeding continues past 12 weeks, to ring my midwife (?!)

Hopefully that’s left you as confused as I am?!

So I rang the midwife back who’s response was “For goodness sake what’s a couple of days?!” 😂 but then says, OK well if you’re still spotting on Friday call them back 🙄 So now I’m like sooooo is baby safe or not?! Aaaaaargh!

I’m sure this isn’t the first and won’t be the last worry over the next 6 months!
