Mines eased off @Mamabearwhere it kept escalating and got brutal last week so spoke to doctor but now 13+6 it’s gone! Been baking all day. I hope yours ends soon ☹️

Kirky658 · 13/03/2021 20:05

@mamabearwhere mine got gradually worse from 12 to 12+5 now I'm 13+3 and it's gone thank goodness, so I hope you're the same! Xxx

Mamabearwhere · 13/03/2021 20:23

@FTEngineerM @Kirky658 ah so good to hear that. Hopefully I’m getting close to it easing off! Glad you’re both feeling better. Can’t wait to start baking again

@mamabearwhere @ftengineerm I baked some flapjacks today 😍 they are too yummy. I can't stop snacking so trying to at least make an effort with something homemade... I love baking elaborate cakes but just haven't had the time for months 🙄

Mamabearwhere · 13/03/2021 20:41

@Kirky658 yum sounds delicious!! Great idea to bake your own things to snack on. I started my own at home baking business just before Christmas, all was going well until sickness started and I haven’t baked since. I love making french macaroons but the sight of egg whites recently have been enough to put me off any form of baking

@Scotti84 I've had pink discharge/bright red spotting all week. I also had it last month, and the month before, all coinciding with when my period would have been. I had an early scan at 9 weeks to check it out and everything was fine so hoping it's the same scenario this time! I believe the guidance is if it goes away in 24 hrs mention it to you midwife next time. If not, then give them a call just to be on the safe side. I know how nerve wracking it can be but there's a million reasons for it so stay positive and try not to panic (like I did the first time!) Smile x

Sillysocks998 · 13/03/2021 21:23

I think if we get any days where the nausea is less we really need to make the most of those days. The nausea is so so hard. Makes you feel so rotten.

I'm just about to tell my sister. The first person except work. I feel nervous, it's so unexpected so I am literally about to shock her! Haha. X

Taybz · 13/03/2021 21:27

Has anyone been experiencing pretty constant back pain? It's starting to worry me :( It gets worse with the nausea but I've got it most days

Sillysocks998 · 13/03/2021 23:12

@Taybz mine Is there quite abit. Can also feel my pelvis hurt, definitely getting some joint soreness. I have sat around a lot today but I'm too tired to do anything. 😂. Bottom of my back hurts. Left leg buckles now and again and I get a sting sensation in left lower back. Just hope it's not sciatica. One day at a time...

Scotti84 · 13/03/2021 23:42

@SP2Bx thank you, that is reassuring. I know theres lots of possibilities so it might be just another weird thing and not the horrible one thats all over google. Just seems as soon as im between scans i get some weird thing where i cant relax and the worry kicks in again. Hoping it will stop soon

@FTEngineerM not yet im still on furlough, there's no mention of opening hotels up again yet here, maybe easter but if the numbers are too much then not... all pretty unsettling atm, not sure how long itll go on for

KHR1 · 14/03/2021 00:19

@Taybz I have back pain too, usually down at the bottom

AdventuresAwait · 14/03/2021 03:46

@Taybz, I have lower back pain and am finding it really difficult. Consultant wasn't concerned and said it is probably the relaxin hormone loosening the pelvic area. She has referred me to the physio to help manege it and I'm waiting to hear from them. I was trying to go for long dog walks every day for exercise but had to stop as it is too painful. She recommended swimming when the pools reopen.

I'm awake after going to the bathroom for the third time and now cannot sleep... 🙄

leftitlate37 · 14/03/2021 07:35

good going on the run @RaeRae84! thats ace u got out, totally same as u - huffing and puffing at a snails pace and feels so hard! happened pretty much soon as i found out, feels like i get heart palpitations too but when check my pulse its just pounding and think the sensation is my breathing. read in a book called "the pregnant athlete" that we get more sensitive to carbon dioxide so can end up overbreathing and almost hyperventilating?!
feel relieved that my vivid dreams have stopped but defo had them in early days - hope you all manage to avoid them and get some sleep last night!
@Taybz yep defo struggling with back, generally do anyway but its not helping this! permanently have a hot water bottle stuck down back of my trousers! and now get alternating leg stuff where a butt cheek and hamstring and knee on one side really really have a deep dull ache, and then switches to other side. waiting for the day it just ends up on both sides!! like @AdventuresAwait am waiting for pools to open. im rubbish at swimming and can only do breaststroke but read might not be wise if got hip/pelvic pain so think am going to have to buy a float and just do front crawl legs in the slow lane!
have found this website and tried these exercises yest to try and get some strength up in pelvic area postpartumtrainer.com/exercises-for-spd/

Happy Mother’s Day to you all Flowers

Makes me so emotional thinking that Mother’s Day next year our babies will be here ❤️

AdventuresAwait · 14/03/2021 08:03

Yes @Jay3004, me too! Such an amazing thought. Happy Mother's Day to you too, and to everyone 💐

My husband bought me a little gift from Jellybean and I am so touched. A few years ago I thought I'd never be a Mummy. To now think about next year's Mothers Day does make me quite emotional!

Sillysocks998 · 14/03/2021 08:46

Happy Mothers Day ladies ❤️😘
I'm telling my MIL and Mum today. I feel so overwhelmed with emotions. Life is too short especially with Covid. So we decided to tell them and give our parents something to look forward to. Will be telling them later today. Can't wear any mascara today! Good luck to anyone else telling their mums and families xxx

unicornpower · 14/03/2021 08:56

Happy Mother's Day all you mum's to be!!! Grin

Sorry to those whose sickness has come back! I'm really hoping it does go away, midwives keep saying at 16 weeks. I was put on meds by my consultant since my scan, as I got worse and started bringing up bile at 11 weeks :( fingers crossed for us all!!

Does anyone suffer with allergic/non-allergic rhinitis and got any tips to reduce symptoms??

Squibble84 · 14/03/2021 12:23

Happy Mother’s Day to all! 💐💐
