New thread because we did too much chatting on thread 2 😅

Lovely to see all the scan pics. Maybe we could pin due dates and gender scan results once most people find out ( if you are going to).

@SP2Bx I'm really surprised they are being so pedantic about dates. Hope they get you in on Friday for the injection. X

I have heard about the heart rate thing before, my dd had a high heart rate above 160 and it sounded like a galloping horse whereas ds,'s was under 140 and sounded like a train chugging along. I don't have digital notes but will double check the scan summary when my midwife adds it to my paper notes. I am going to try to remember to ask about it at my 16 week appointment. We are not finding out as it is our last baby but I am finding it a long wait.

Has anyone announced yet?

@Duesept21 I'm on cyclizine, it made me feel awful for a while but I was signed off work so slept whenever I could- how many tablets a day are you on? I was on 3 but reduced to 2 now although I've had a couple of bad sickness days this week. It must be hard being so tired with you at work! You have my full sympathy!

@Sillysocks998 how you feeling about tomorrow? I've woken up in a mad panic about how itl be bad news! Anxiety riddled for the next 30 hours lol

Great news on everyone's scans! I'm so chuffed for you all! Time seems to be flying by!

@Sceptre86 I told my sister last night, we’re planning to tell our parents on Sunday as it’s Mother’s Day. Then after that’s will tell friends and work. So exciting! First grandchild for both sets of parents, they’ll be over the moon.

@Chica1990 a few people have said girl but I’ve been convinced it’s a boy. I didn’t know about the heartbeat theory so didn’t ask and can’t see it in my notes. They’ve moved it forward a day so the 22nd September now.

@Sceptre86, we have announced! Did so after 12 week scan last week. Was so lovely as my friends and family know that I've always wanted to be a Mum but wasn't sure if it would happen for me.

At my early scan, we thought the heartbeat sounded like a horse! I can't wait to find out!

@Maybebaby29, I hadn't heard of the Nub Tech before but just submitted my scans! Thanks for the idea. Not sure they'll be able to tell as my scan pic isn't great but thought it would be fun to see .

@Jay3004, I'm the other way around. I think girl and others think boy!

@AdventuresAwait I’ve just submitted my scan pic to Nub Tech too so we can see what they come back with!

Hey... I feel excited. I think let me get work out the way today and I'll be just thinking about that then. My husband is allowed with me. For both of us, we know I'm pregnant but it doesn't feel real at all. So hopefully this will. Sure I think I'll be anxious in the waiting room, just hope everything is OK. I hope yours goes well too. I'll post here tomorrow 😘

@Taybz thank you for constipation recommendations. I can't have green tea because of medications. But I bought some blended prunes the Ella range for babies lol, and will try that on toast.

@Bigdreamer9 aww first grandchild. That's lovely. And on mother's day. I wanted to reveal on mother's day too but I'm not organised at all! And I have to do it in the garden so this wind in the midlands needs to go away! I was thinking of giving my mum some wool (so she can make a hat or boots or something) and then a frame of the baby at 12 weeks. Going to be such a shock. They think I'm jst having cats! 😂.

@bigdreamer9 ours is my parents first grandchild and dhs's mums first too, they're all over the moon ❤️

They didn't listen to the heartbeat at my scan, it was a very quick scan tbh to take the measurements, booked my 20 week one there and then that was pretty much it! Said there was a good strong heartbeat, everything looked good, showed me the spine. That was about it! Sonographer said the 20 week scan would go into more details. Not sure you can tell off mine if boy or girl but open to deliberation haha xx

Lovely new scans coming in! Every time I see a new scan pic, can't help but smile massively and feel fuzzy inside 😃 We've decided to book a gender scan at 17 weeks but I am already itching to find out. Dh wants a boy first and I'd like a girl. I'm posting my scan pic again - what do you reckon please? All guesses based on whatever theories welcome! 😄

@Bigdreamer9 oh they will be over the moon. I remember when I told my parents I was expecting our first. My mum burst into tears and my dad wouldn't stop grinning. It was super emotional. This time it will be their 3rd grandchild from us and I think they will be shocked we have decided to have another.

Aw loving all these scans ladies! So pleased for you all.

I just transferred my hospital to a closer one to my home because as I mentioned before I just went for my original hospital where I previously gave birth and it’s just taking me ages to drive in because we’ve moved house since having my first two babies. The new hospital just called me and they insist I do all my booking, bloods and scans again there even though they will have the notes from my original hospital. I guess it’s nice I get a bonus scan but I feel so guilty taking up midwifes time unnecessarily. Really odd I would have thought the notes would be enough.

Also on another note i had my first sleep last night with my new pregnancy pillow and omg best sleep! Please get one if you haven’t already and struggling to sleep.

Nub tech have came back already with 85% girl!

My baby's heart rate was 152bpm and he is a boy. If that adds to the theory?

They didn’t tell me about the heart rate at my. 12 week appointment either 😕 just said it was a good strong heartbeat. I’ve got my 16 week midwife appointment on the 25th so hopefully will find out then!

Here are my scans.. it’s one nhs 12 weeks and the other was window to the womb 3 days later. The window to the womb one makes me laugh, anyone else had any ‘on their back scans’ baby was wriggling about all over the show!!

@Maybebaby29 and @Jay3004, just got my Nub Tech report back... 95% girl!

@Kirky658, my 12 week scan was super quick too. Just measurement for dating, point to the heart and gave me a date for 20 week scan. That was it!

I can't usually tell so haven't replied to most but @Taybz, I guess girl!

Can't wait to see if my gender scan confirms it at 17 weeks! Was fun anyway and I like the details they send on the production photo x

I'm hoping for a girl, don't know why, DH isn't fussed either way but we've got more options for girls names so maybe that's why 🤔 haha!

@Kirky658 I’m the same with you about the girls names... I have a list of those but only 2 boys names!
Will you tell anyone the name before the birth?
