@gigi556 I know exactly what you mean, my last pregnancy was pretty traumatic and I had to block all negative thoughts about this one
Definitely try to go for the early scan, I have had a couple early ones now and I'm not sure if its the same for all areas but it was so clean , really strict with covid rules etc I felt quite assured and safe , nurses were amazing

@gigi556 it’s easier said than done!! The middle of the night wake ups with crippling anxiety are fun... I’ve not had previous losses but I didn’t think I could get pregnant due to severe scar tissue in my pelvis and abdomen and I also have a clotting condition that hugely increases my risk of MC and stillbirth. I’m sorry for your loss, it must make it so much harder.

I work in mental health- I know all of what I should be doing to stay calm and positive but I am not rational!! 😁❤️

Hello! Can I join. I'm 7 weeks 3 days. Due sept 13th 2021. I dont have my first ultrasound till feb 3rd and its driving me crazy. I just want to know everything is okay. I've been nauseous these last few days but today seems good. Does nausea come and go? Any advice for the wait time till my scan?

Anyone suffering headaches? Mine is almost unbearable

@Mamabearwhere I'm taking Pregnacare Max and I'm feeling nauseous all the time, but I assumed it was just part of the pregnancy! I already bought enough tablets to last the pregnancy due to an Amazon offer, so I'm going to persist with them anyway.

I had a private early scan today which put me at 7w+4, a little later than my dates. I've never opted to have an early scan before and it was exciting to see a heartbeat at this stage.

@Kait0921 I'm finding ginger tea helpful with the nausea (fresh ginger chopped up with boiling water).

Anyone else feeling really dizzy? I woke up this morning and the whole room was spinning and I’m finding it really hard to keep my balance.

My symptoms are still very limited but yesterday was just a write off. Can't actually put my finger on it and not sure if just fed up with being stuck inside and miserable weather. But I slept, hardly ate and cried!

Has my 1st scan this morning and everything all good :) baby measuring 6+3 in line with ovulation dates. We were able to see baby's heartbeat ❤️ I can't believe it's good news. Praying everything goes ok

hi @Bubbles1st I also have no symptoms but also have dull ache in stomach, so hard not to be worried. Has anyone else had no symptoms plus stomach pain in early pregnancy and it turned out ok?

@Hopefulmummie congratulations! You must be so relieved. I have my first scan on Wednesday to check everything is in the right place. Did they do abdominal or internal scan?

Mamabearwhere I’m not dizzy this time round, but got very dizzy with my first, especially when standing up and getting out of bed. Apparently it was to do with blood pressure. I was advised to get up slowly and wait for it to pass.

Hopefulmummie so glad your scan was good and baby is doing well.

I am so tired today! I feel like all my energy has got up and run.

Also, is anyone else feeling most nauseous in the evenings? I’m feeling terrible in the hour before I go to bed.

Well that's all I can seem to stomach atm. I've really went off food and haven't been eating proper meals and feel guilty

Is there anyone else that hasn't been eating properly? What are you taking to get nutrients into you?

More aversions thanks cravings including my favourite spaghetti bol being definitely off the menu.

I don't think I'm eating very well - too much sugary rubbish. I am really trying to eat some decent fruit though.

@Bubbles1st I was thinking im going to buy fruit cause I think I'd be able to eat that if I'm not eating anything elae

@LittleAurora I have no cravings anymore, last week it was red meat but now the thought of anything makes me gag. The only thing I can stomach is citrus fruits and plain rice. Really annoying because I am constantly starving but can’t eat anything enough to fill myself up. I have my scan tomorrow and can’t wait to find out how far I am! Really hoping in the latter half of first trimester 🙈

I can't stand the smell of fish at the moment although still trying to eat fish a couple times a week
