@Kirky658 I had this!! Just one time tho and then it just went back to nausea! I was worried as my best friend wasn’t sick until 13 weeks and then was sick up until the birth!! Crazy how our bodies work sometimes!

I’ve done the same as you and booked a scan for 17 weeks as it seems so long to wait between 12 and 20! I’m hoping they will be able to tell me what I’m having too!

Exciting about the scan isn't it? Some family members think I'm having a boy and some think a girl. It doesn't matter but I really want to know! 🤣

Does anyone have much contact with their midwife? I will see mine at 16 weeks (though think I need to change the date as just found out it looks like we're moving house on that date!).

@AdventuresAwait weirdly I think I've had more contact from my midwife this time than I did in my last pregnancy before covid. I had a phone 'first contact' appointment, a phone booking appointment then went to see her a week or two after that for the booking bloods/weight/BP. She's rung me once or twice since then to check up on me after my BP was super high at my booking. I'm a little nervous about the huge gap between the 16 and 28 week appointments though, seems like such a long time

Lol @AdventuresAwait and @CherylLW I also have booked a scan for 20th March when I'll be 17 weeks. I know the sex already but seems so long to wait between 12 week and 20 week scan. Just want to see how he is doing

Hi @KHR1, I've not spoken to mine much at all but it's my first pregnancy so didn't know that to expect! Also have my first consultant appointment on Tuesday. Any one else been referred to consultant care?
Yes 16 to 28 seems a long time! But we can contact them if needs be. How's your BP now?

People always seem to think I’m having a girl! But I’m very excited to find out!

Last time I saw anyone was when I was having booking bloods, then my scan and I’ve got a midwife appointment about 16+5 where they check the heartbeat ❤️

@Noodles4Me I think it just breaks it down a bit more adding a few private scans in here and there.... my calmness can only last so long and waiting 4 weeks is far more manageable than 8!!

Mines March 27th and I can’t wait!!

I've told my boss! Over a teams meeting which was funny, she knew I had a hospital appt yesterday so knew something was up. She seemed genuinely pleased for me and said they'd make any adjustments to keep me safe so well chuffed with that response xx

Totally get it @Noodles4Me. I only had my 12 week scan on Monday and already wish I had another private one sooner than 17 weeks! Had two early ones and much preferred them.

@bluemagicalsky, I'm still on the sofa! Feel so tired all the time, I'm having to rest lots.

Hope you don’t mind me joining in here, first baby due 24th Sept, which makes me 11 weeks tomorrow.

I had an early scan at what I thought was 6+1, turned out to be 8+6(!) but looking forward to dating scan in coming weeks. Only had my booking appointment on Tuesday so still waiting for scan date to come through :)

I’ve been so exhausted and suffering with sickness, really hoping it eases over the next couple of weeks!

Looking forward to keeping up with everybody’s journeys ❤️

@bluemagicalsky don’t worry I’ve been stuck to my sofa or bed for the last 6 weeks. Have done no moving except for going upstairs to get in bed or walk downstairs to lay on the sofa. Hopefully we all feel better in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, we had the worst outcome at our scan.
