@Safxxx we got keys yesterday! We’ve started moving stuff over but don’t have the van booked for bigger things until the weekend. Flat needs a lot of work! More than we remembered. But it’s ours! Completely exhausted. There were no chairs in the flat (obviously!) so ended up sitting on the edge of the bath for a rest 😂

Baby has gotten a little forgotten with everything going on. Will hopefully be able to talk through things with midwife at 38 week check on Thursday x x x

Hope you don't mind me crashing your thread. I'm a long-standing mumsnetter currently training to become a child and adolescent counsellor and psychotherapist.
For my training I need to observe a mother and newborn for one hour a week, this would be over zoom at present. This is an ongoing commitment as I have to observe for a total of 60 hours over the next 18 months.
I live in North London and I'm looking for a family who would be willing to be observed.
If you can help please message me. I can send you letters from my training institution with more info.

@Muriel84 so glad you've got your keys and you've been able to make a start. at least you can do the work little by little, once your in and you've moved all your things you can get your feet up and enjoy your own space! Great you've been able to get the keys before baby makes their appearance 😇

Sorry just catching up from last nights chat, ds3 was born at 38 weeks he was 6’14lbs so not a bad size at all and placenta looked normal, he did have unilateral talipes which we already knew about and obviously had nothing to do with the low Papp-a. We actually took part in a Tommy’s rainbow trust research project they were doing into weather lifestyle and where you live play a part in the placentas function.
Also no I had no epidural just g&a although I was offered one, Iv read that there’s more chance of an assisted delivery with that and I hoped to avoid that if possible.

😂😂 me too! Yesterday was awful, the proper crippling feeling in your chest that makes you feel like you're about to throw up 🤢 I'm a bit better today as I took one of my tablets the minute my eyes opened this morning!

I'm okay thank you, just so ready for him to be out now, I'm struggling sleeping at night a lot now, anyone else finding this?

Oh and my cravings have come back! I had some during the first trimester and then nothing really intense from then until just last week when I felt all shakey and weird at the thought of not having cranberry juice at 11pm so much so DH had to go and get some 😂 now also loving the smell and thought of a wet bathroom sponge. When someone has been in the shower and it's drying, the smell is just amazing. I feel like an absolute freak!

How are you guys all finding it?

@OhTheHeartBurn wet sponge 😂 mine is Dove soap to the point my skin is amazing as I've been washing my face loads to catch the smell.

My new craving is apple juice... I've had to start diluting it as I was drinking so much my sugar intake must have been crazy. That and the smell of Detol especially in my steam mop 😳

Mine has been onions through out! My local Chinese know me as soon as I place my order with the onions haha! I feel sorry for my oh because I permanently smell of onions

@OhTheHeartBurn welcome to the thread. Wet sponge is a new one I've not heard of 😂 the weird and wonderful things pregnancy does!

@OnNaturesCourse I'm with you on apple juice at the moment. Bright red apples were my first trimester craving. I even bought a wood wick apple oil burner so my house just smells of apples 😂

And yessssssss to the craving apples! Trying to limit to one a day..... 😋
