@MissKhan1990 are you a secret One Born Every Minute watcher? 😂

I found scaring myself silly with that TV show has been almost comforting...

babbit87 · 23/01/2021 15:45

Lol why do we do it to ourselves? I've been watching 'call the midwife' 😬 some eye watering things in that show!

babydust2412 · 23/01/2021 16:18

Haha ladies you do make me giggle 😂 I've avoided all those types of shows while pregnant, a shame because I loved them before now they terrify me 😂😂
I am definitely ready for this baby to come out some time soon, I'm so uncomfy, am trying all the safe ways of getting him out like lots of walking , circling hips on the yoga ball, all that 😩 xx

Safxxx · 23/01/2021 16:19

@MissKhan1990 we are born to give birth we can do it Stay strong ❤
Just remember the reward at the end of it, our beautiful babies will be in our arms. Xx

Stef92 · 23/01/2021 16:22

@babbit87 at least call the midwife is set 50 years ago 🤣

Safxxx · 23/01/2021 16:30

@babydust2412 its a waiting game now, if only we can have them at our convenience but they will come when the time is right. Most first time mums have it close to due dates or just after.
My eldest two were a couple of days before due date, the youngest was at 36wks.
So naturally i've been thinking what if this one comes early? I'll be bang on 36wks tmro, but i'm not worried at the mo as i got a feeling he won't come early but i also hope he don't come too late either.
Lets see 🤔

babydust2412 · 23/01/2021 16:32

@Safxxx that would be ideal if we could tell them to come and they just did 😂 xx
I'm 38+3 now so getting fed up 😩 10 days to go until due date! Not too long now

Char41zam · 23/01/2021 16:43

Well nesting has well and truly kicked in for me! Was up and been cleaning all day and tired myself out, my oh has forced me to sit down and watch footy with him! As tired and sore as I am I can’t seem to sit down

Due February 2021 - Part 3 - Final countdown!
Muriel84 · 23/01/2021 16:46

@IamC 🤣 I meant clearly I am never going to get any sleep! 😭

Been packing all day/getting in the way. Moving house is awful! So much dust and dirt everywhere. My back aches like mad, my head aches and I feel very useless. 😖 x x

babbit87 · 23/01/2021 16:59

Yes definitely a waiting game, I hate being on a bit of string! My first was 7 days early natural, my second was 10 days early induced, have a strong feeling this one will be late. Doesn't feel at all like I'm ready to go.

I've given up on nesting, its so disheartening when you spend a whole day getting the house clean then two toddlers undo it in 20 mins 😭

Safxxx · 23/01/2021 17:03

@babydust2412 wow your very close only 10 days left 🤗
@Muriel84 Awe bless you can't be easy moving house at this stage, but will be worth it at the end, all ready for baby to come home to. Xx
@Char41zam take it easy, don't tire yourself too much, or else you will suffer with aches and pains. Xx

Thegirlhasnoname · 23/01/2021 17:14

No nesting going on here. I’m starting to definitely feel super pregnant and tired of it all though (DD was born at 36 weeks so I’m the furthest pregnant I’ve ever been!)

Inner thighs are burning even if I only walk a little bit and lower back is hurting so much. No idea if that is ‘normal’ but it isn’t nice at all. Add that to the sudden excess gas and frequent toilet trips for upset tummy then I’m just a ray of sunshine!

At least it is the weekend and DH is off work to entertain our 2 year old so I can wallow in self pity. Bring on the 4th when this baby is forcibly evicted from the sunroof 😂

Safxxx · 23/01/2021 17:15

For my other 3 i used to clean like mad, if i was'nt cleaning i was thinking about it.
Everything was organised and cleaned before i went into labour.
This time round, i don't have the energy i just about do the cooking and essential cleaning etc, and i'm huffing away lol.
Theres areas in the house that need attention but i'm sure it can wait...as i know once i start it i have to finish it, and the results will be bad pelvic/back pains 😩

Safxxx · 23/01/2021 17:27

@Thegirlhasnoname Awe must be hard with the little one too...and a experience too as you've not been past 36wks.
Hopefully not too long now, take it easy Xx

babbit87 · 23/01/2021 18:12

@Safxxx oh I'm with you on the no energy thing..... I'm breathless even after bending to put my socks on in the morning!

I'm not too worried about labour, this time round I'm more worried about after..... how on earth I'm going to cope with three so young. Like seriously panicking about it. How will I ever leave the house? How will I get any of them to nap? Surely they are going to keep each other awake and tag team me? How tired i feel at the moment, how will I cope with sleep deprivation?..... ill go get my little violin!

OnNaturesCourse · 23/01/2021 18:42

I feel breathless after putting my boots on, I have to take a minute before tackling tying them up 😂 then it's another few minutes before I get back up again.

Everything feels like a few hours at the gym right now. And my toddler has sussed out that she can finally mess up the house quicker than I can tidy it so I've given up, poor baby will be coming home to a bomb site.

babbit87 · 23/01/2021 19:34

@OnNaturesCourse I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Boots and house wise! Was so much easier with my other two summer born - lived in flip-flops!

Safxxx · 23/01/2021 20:07

@babbit87 i remember when i had my son, my daughter started first day at nursery, and when my youngest was born the middle one started nursery first time, both times i missed taķing them on there first days....and they would try seeking double attention from me, and play up to the point i would be stressed out.
But you get thru it, older kids adapt to the youngest and accept the changes in time.
But yeah early days will definetely be more challenging and tiring, will be harder before it becomes easier...but stay strong hopefully it won't be too bad 🤞

I'm agree with you and @OnNaturesCourse putting socks & boots on has become a mission, i have to sit on a chair bring 1 foot over the other knee and put them on 🤣
Same with cutting toe nails 😩
Its a good thing i don't go out much lol.

Char41zam · 23/01/2021 20:32

@babbit87 my girls had 2 years between them and both in nappies at the same time, I still don’t know how I did it but like @Safxxx said you do it and then you look back and it’s all a distant memory, then my son came along when they were 4 and 6 so I had 3 young kids, they are now 18, 16 and 13 this July and I am doing it all over! Lol, It will be hard for you but you will definitely find ways that suit you and you will manage x

babbit87 · 23/01/2021 21:24

Thanks @Char41zam and @Safxxx, I knew it was going to be hard with 3 under 4 but now its starting to feel so realise! The thought was to do it all whilst we are still well into nappies, pushchairs, sleepless nights etc. and that hopefully it will be good as they are growing up to be so close in age.

@Char41zam you are brave to be doing it all over again! Bet your older ones are looking forward to having a baby in the house to cuddle ☺

babbit87 · 23/01/2021 21:24

Real not realise 🙄

Char41zam · 23/01/2021 21:31

Yeah they are very excited! I will have a lot of help this time round which I never had before, and I can focus on baby, wouldn’t change having my other 3 close together though because your right they grow together and keep each other occupied!

Safxxx · 23/01/2021 21:46

@babbit87 you will be glad in the future for the decision you made, they Will grow together and hopefuly bond and be close to each other.
Mine are older 16,12, 9, so i've got a big gap with this one but also like @Char41zam would have more time for little one and hopefuly the olders ones can help out too. Xxx

Newmumfeb2021 · 23/01/2021 22:50

Hi ladies - thank you so much for pouring your advice on relieving backache. Unfortunately nothing worked. Haven’t had paracetamol yet and won’t take it just yet. I tried to sleep with it last night with several trips to loo. Hot water bottle, hot shower, tried so many things. DH has massaged my back 5-6 times since last night. It feels good and relieved for about 30 minutes to an hour but comes back with more intensity.
I’m 35 weeks today so I’ve got a month to go with this thing ☹️

Safxxx · 24/01/2021 00:29

@Newmumfeb2021 Oh sorry to hear that, what mostly helps me is those heat pads you can get from poundland, they release heat for hours. Also use oil for massage rather then dry one, vapour rub relieves pain too. Thankfully i get it on/off. My presssure is mostly at the front now then the back, i guess it down to the babies position. Hope you feel better soon Xxx
