As the other thread was about to be full, I thought it made sense to make part 2!

OP posts:

@babydust2412 I've had a lot of dull, achy period pains the past few days too. It doesnt come in waves either, it can be constant for a few hours before it stops or eases and I get braxton hicks on top of it.

I think some of my mucus plug is away too as my discharge has increased and I've had a few bits of snot like bits on my pads (sorry for tmi)

OnNaturesCourse · 11/01/2021 23:58

Yep that’s my dd but I should get my induction date on Thursday, was supposed to be Friday just gone but the consultant was a waste of time so I’m off to the hospital to speak to the consultant I have been seeing all through my pregnancy.

OnNaturesCourse · 12/01/2021 00:09

Oh how exciting!

Am I right in thinking it will be around when your 37 weeks, or earlier?

How are you feeling about it?

babydust2412 · 12/01/2021 00:09

@OnNaturesCourse I've had exactly the same sorts of pains, have texted my midwife to see if she is concerned by it xx
Never worry about tmi haha we've all been there pregnancy is not glamorous 😂 x

OnNaturesCourse · 12/01/2021 00:11

Absolutely love that you can text your midwife. How modern, wish mine were like that - I couldn't even tell you my midwives name!

TooManyDinosaurs1 · 12/01/2021 01:16

I'm due 26th Feb also with a surprise. Quite nice to see so many people haven't found out the sex, I'm in a fb group of over 100 women and I think I'm one of only 5 who hasn't found out the sex.

Char41zam · 12/01/2021 01:29

@OnNaturesCourse it will be 39 weeks, I am 36 weeks on Saturday so it’s getting very close!

babbit87 · 12/01/2021 07:10

Just catching up too

@Safxxx oh wow that pamper sounds AMAZING! could def do with some of that right now!

And thanks for the info on speed, I think as soon as I get contractions 5 mins apart I won't be holding off going, first 2 were fast enough!

My 20 month old boy has this past week learnt to climb out of his cot (timing eh?) Which has meant NO sleep as I'm either paranoid i can hear him falling to the floor (he does this quite safely, always been a climber) or he actually appears at my bedside 😭

@Muriel84 I'm also having a moan day today, between my boy keeping me up all night (and still waking at 6:30) and the aching hips and sore back I'm a right grump today! Got no energy to do anything. I think cbeebies will be featuring a LOT in my day today!

I asked about partners not being allowed in until you are in established labour and MW called BS on that, as long as DP doesn't have covid they are allowed in for duration but can't stay in overnight with you, they are even allowed in for duration of induction as well but once in the hospital cannot leave and come back in (to get bags, food etc.) and are not entitled to meals so they would have to pack a bag full of food! Also, something my DH read online said that IF your DP is asked to do a covid test it can take them 8 hours to get a turnaround on results so it buys a bit of time at least! Xx

Safxxx · 12/01/2021 08:03

Awe nice to see the list of due dates ❤thankyou @OnNaturesCourse 👍🏼

Safxxx · 12/01/2021 08:18

@OnNaturesCourse
@babydust2412
You two seem like you will have your babies b4 due dates, seems getting closer the way you guys are describing.
When i went a month early with my youngest i kinda had a feeling it will come early as he had dropped right down and the pressure was immense for a couple of weeks before...discharge certainly increases and the braxton hicks.
I even had a dream that i went in labour early while our other 2 kids bedroom was not finished decorating (thats exacly what happened in reality lol)
At 36wks during very early hours of the morning my waters broke, 6am went in...with no labour pains and after 12pm i was in labour and had my boy around 5pm i think...Ahhh the memories 😍 (9yrs ago)
Just be prepared and trust your instincts hope all goes well Xxx

Safxxx · 12/01/2021 08:24

@babbit87 Awe bless him you got your hands full at the mo as it is.

babydust2412 · 12/01/2021 08:38

I'm having a lot of low down cramping today, really unsure of when to think it's normal and when to think things are moving along xx

Snorlax86 · 12/01/2021 08:41

Thanks @OnNaturesCourse for doing the due date list.
@Safxxx snap!

Very exciting, I’m still wishing the time away though, can’t wait to get baby (safely) out!

Didn't know how to edit my original post!

@Char41zam not long at all, and you'll have a end date / goal in site!

@Safxxx I hope he arrives early, or atleast on time, but maybe not this early. Lol I'm on 35+4. Cramps seem.to have eased today. He was head down last week but yet to completely engage etc. I do think all this discomfort is him pushing his head down tho 😁😁

Safxxx · 12/01/2021 09:44

@babydust2412 as your baby is low down cramping is expected.
For labour signs look out for wanting to go for No2 and nothing there
As thats a sign of dilating, pressure is all in the bum, like you really want to go toilet for No2 each time you go nothing there.
All pregnancies are different and it can happen in any order. For some...mucus plug moves away...others waters break
Or the pressure and pain in bum.

In my 1st pregnancy i was so clueless...from 9-10pm i started getting pains...after midnight i just kept going toilet feeling constipation pains (it was'nt)
I kept turning and twisting in bed and kept going toilet thinking come on you flipping poop get out 😂😂
By 8am the pain was unbearable i finaly called my midwife she said i'll be right over, she examined me said i'm 8cm dilated and can have the baby anytime now...
We went into labour ward and honestly i stopped progressing just unbearable pains it was another 8hrs till i had my baby girl.

babydust2412 · 12/01/2021 09:48

@Safxxx I was exactly the same last night I was getting up thinking I needed the toilet and nothing was happening, then today the cramping has continued and having a lot of braxton hicks xx
Have messaged midwife so just waiting to see what she says xx

Safxxx · 12/01/2021 09:54

@OnNaturesCourse Hopefuly you have it near to time...as mentioned before cramping etc are expected more from these stages onwards...
I wouldn't wish it on any one of us to go in early in this covid situations.
As they will just keep us in longer 🙄
Hopefuly we all come home with our babies having natural births and no staying over..🤞

Safxxx · 12/01/2021 09:58

@babydust2412 i hope all is well do keep us updated Xxx

Newmumfeb2021 · 12/01/2021 10:16

@OnNaturesCourse thats a wonderful compilation - so excited to see all the dates :) cant wait xx

@babbit87 seems like all hospitals are having different approaches. This is really awful. I don't think I want to be left alone at night (if that is what my hospital decides to do as well) :(

OnNaturesCourse · 12/01/2021 12:55

@babydust2412 keep us updated, very exciting!

Mine have eased off a little now but I've pooped three times today already 😳 maybe that's what was/is wrong lol. I'm also all stuffed up (sinuses I suspect. Usual for me at this time of year) so I'm feeling sorry for myself today.

babydust2412 · 12/01/2021 13:24

@OnNaturesCourse my braxton hicks have eased a lot so now it's just some cramping xx
It feels exactly like being due on right now x

jbx10 · 12/01/2021 13:31

@OnNaturesCourse great to see the list of due dates. I'm excited to see what everyone's actual dates will end up being!

What should I expect with Braxton hicks? I don't think I have had any yet is that like cramping pains? Xxx
