@sunnysideup3 it should get better 😁 i was about 14/15 weeks when nausea calmed down. Although .. when the nausea stopped i then panicked as i had no symptoms (can't win lol).

barbiemummy20 · 22/11/2020 19:05

I am 16 weeks and still being sick a couple of times a day and having terrible nausea, I am so tired all the time 😴 I am hoping for the next couple of weeks to be a turning point haha! Have our gender scan on Friday so my mind is on that my DD has done a poll of the family for boy or girl so will be fun to find out! I am thinking boy but happy either way 👶🏻

Wanderdust · 23/11/2020 09:16

Just catching up here, take care of yourself @thedaydreambelievers Flowers xxx

Hope everyone else is OK too xxx

Sexnotgender · 23/11/2020 09:51

20 week scan all went well and definitely a girl. Got a few more scans as my older daughter has significant congenital defects but all looking good just now.

@Sexnotgender. Great news that your scan went well. What a lovely scan picture!

sunnysideup3 · 23/11/2020 10:28

@Sexnotgender what a lovely scan picture!

So glad to hear that nausea and fatigue gets a bit better later on for most. Looking forward to that haha. Hopefully I have more energy by mid December!😴

CardiganBlobby · 23/11/2020 15:48

Hello ladies, hope you are all doing ok.

If you had the screening tests done, how long did the results take to post in the app? I went for my 12 week scan + bloods last Tuesday so just wondering what people's experiences have been. I'm hopeful that everything is looking ok as I haven't heard anything just now but I just want to know!

Have got my 16 week appointment in for 7 Dec, and my 20 week scan just came through today for 6 Jan. Very exciting!

Sexnotgender · 23/11/2020 15:53

Mine took forever! I had to phone and chase them after about 3 weeks.

Buffbeag · 23/11/2020 16:16

@CardiganBlobby mine took about a week to show on the app.

@Sexnotgender brilliant scan photo!

I am 15+4 and most of my symptoms have stopped so now I am panicking all the time 🙄 seems like ages until my 20 week scan as well lol

PinkRoses20 · 23/11/2020 16:17

@CardiganBlobby i had bloods done for screening 5 weeks ago and still no letter. Phoned them after about two weeks and they told me low risk and that letters are delayed due to covid. Also said no news is good news!

CardiganBlobby · 23/11/2020 16:59

Thanks ladies - no news is good news is right for sure. Hopefully I can match @Buffbeag's experience in FV.

I am now 13+4, feeling a lot better from the nausea perspective but am still so tired in the evenings. I struggle to make it past 9, and I am eating so much food right now. I am always so hungry - good news being that I am not piling on all the pounds I probably should be from eating this much though. Anyone else absolutely demolishing any food they see too?

GeneralClux · 23/11/2020 17:47

Absolutely @CardiganBlobby! At 13+5, I feel like all I do is eat at the moment! An hour after a meal I'm back raiding the cupboards again!

Buffbeag · 23/11/2020 18:37

I have on just got my appetite back this week and feel I need to snack constantly rather than big meals. My partner keeps telling me that he keeps eating cause I am eating and he is putting on weight 🤣

I have no sympathy lol

Welliedays · 23/11/2020 19:14

@cardiganblobby I was told they'd call in a week if there was a problem and if there wasn't the results would be on my app within 2 weeks.

Also been demolishing food. I think my stomach has shrunk though so portions are smaller. I just need to eat better and put the kit kats down!!

fattymumbum · 23/11/2020 20:38

Congratulations @sexnotgender fantastic healthy little girl you have xxxx

I feel some days I'm eating constantly and some days not eating much at all. Getting a real craving for gherkins and especially the liquid in the jar, it's the only refreshing thing I've drank in pregnancy. Partner works in a supermarket and he's not brought any for two days!! Arrrgh!!!

For those still suffering, it does getting better and hopefully by Christmas too!

sunnysideup3 · 24/11/2020 08:46

Woke up hungry at 4am last night 😂 Had to eat some wafers as I couldn't fall back to sleep with an empty stomach.

I'm not feeling super hungry most of the time but I try to eat more than I think I should. I found it really helps with my nausea.

Wanderdust · 24/11/2020 09:12

I have lost my appetite but strangely only at dinner time - can barely eat half of what my hubby puts down in front of me (unless it's something really carb-y/plain and beige 😂). Not sick though, thankfully, just not that hungry. I think it's because I snack more during the day and also feel bloated so maybe I just feel more full than I actually am? It's annoying because I used to be a good eater who would try lots of different foods 🤷‍♀️

Not in the same boat as some of you but similar, waiting for the rest of my Harmony test. Been told it will take 10 working days and I'm really distracted. On the plus side, we got to see the baby again first before they took my bloods. My husband and I were both shocked how much it looked like a baby now ha ha, compared to the blob we saw in an earlier scan. I know that's a daft thing to say but just didn't expect baby to be moving so much?! I have a video of it giving us a wee wave!

Wanderdust · 24/11/2020 09:13

Result* not rest - I hate that you can't edit your posts.

Wanderdust · 24/11/2020 09:16

@Buffbeag

I have on just got my appetite back this week and feel I need to snack constantly rather than big meals. My partner keeps telling me that he keeps eating cause I am eating and he is putting on weight 🤣

I have no sympathy lol

My husband is also fearful of putting on the beef as he eats 1 and a half dinners every night!! I keep telling him to just adjust the portion sizes but he worries that I might feel like eating after all so wants to make sure there's enough Smile
Buffbeag · 24/11/2020 09:36

@Wanderdust haha yes that sounds familiar, I was really struggling to eat a normal meal before. Thankfully we have managed to work out what size is right for a portion now so no wasted food or no extra food for the other half 😊

sunnysideup3 · 24/11/2020 10:44

My husband keeps munching on the snacks that I buy for myself to ease the nausea 😂 🙄

CardiganBlobby · 24/11/2020 11:23

You have to sort that out @sunnysideup3 Grin I have told mine in no uncertain terms that there will be consequences if that happens ha - part of me did consider doubling up on the snackage in case this happened but so far so good

sunnysideup3 · 25/11/2020 09:23

@CardiganBlobby hahaha he's been ok so far. But I'll definitely have no sympathy if he ever complains about gaining weight!

Going to my booking in appointment this morning. Excited to make it more official 😄

Buffbeag · 25/11/2020 12:18

Haha my boyfriend is fuming this morning as I have actually lost weight over the past two weeks and he has put on!

He seems to think that I should have put on about 10 pounds by week 16 🤣

Win to me!

rosegoldivy · 25/11/2020 21:28

@fattymumbum sorry I am so bad at replying on here.
Weirdly, I feel totally fine in the sense I have my energy back and feel well rested and Im not feeling nauseous all day..... BUT I am still being sick 2 or 3 times a day. But I'm not feeling sick so it's totally night and day from last few weeks.

@queenbee95 They would have been identical twins if they shared the same sac and placenta. They explained the risk of "missing twin" to me early on and I had never heard about it before. I'm sorry you had to experience it
