Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

Aww Connie is cute!
It's so hard isn't it... I have always had a list and kept adding to it. But now I keep looking and not liking any. I saw a girls name recently I liked- Nova. But I bet OH turns his nose up haha.
Here's the pic. Hard to tell with the skull to as the hand was up on the head.
I haven't had a 16weeks scan, so only have this from 12+6.

Also- no preference. I used to really want a boy first as I like having an older brother, but now I can really see us having a girl.

@Blossom428 I'm guessing girl 😊

mabelelsie · 16/02/2021 12:38

I just want to say I read through this thread and it made me feel positive, thank you. I’m very early pregnant (4+4) after a chemical pregnancy in October, I’ve been obsessing over every feeling (symptoms and then symptom loss) and then I go looking for horror stories and convince my self that it’s more likely I’ll miscarry than not - so to read through a positive thread was very refreshing. Good luck to you all!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/02/2021 13:11

@SS123456 well girls are the trend so far!!!!

@mabelelsie aww I'm sorry you are concerned! We have alllll been there! Congratulations on your pregnancy! You are welcome to join us! We are all at different points and irs nice to have someone to ask questions too without feeling silly!!! Xx

Yeah heart rate was 161! So high. @AnxiousAnnie86
@SS123456 ooooh do you. Girl was my original thought.
@mabelelsie Welcome- congratulations on your pregnant!! The first 12 weeks are a the worst, they drag on for what feels like forever, but just know that your are growing your little one! Will you book an earlier scan? I think most of us did around 8weeks. I found that really helped with my anxiety around pregnancy.
I had very little symptoms so I was on edge constantly.

mabelelsie · 16/02/2021 13:40

I would love to join, @AnxiousAnnie86 and @Blossom428, thank you!
When are your due dates? How are you feeling?
I have a scan booked on the 11th March when I’ll be 7+6, feels like a lifetime away so I’m just really hoping the weeks go by quickly and uneventful! My only symptoms right now are slightly swollen boobs, on and off back pain and frequent loose stools (yuk, sorry!) 🤣

Blossom428 · 16/02/2021 14:09

I'm 17+5 weeks today, due date is 22nd July. Try keep yourself busy and your mind active- helps time pass by- although I know difficult given current lockdown circumstances 🙈 iv got my 20week scan on 4th March where I will find out the sex 😆 @mabelelsie

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/02/2021 14:20

@mabelelsie it really does drag in first 12 weeks! I'm 21 on Friday, I'm due 2nd July, but c section likely to be 18th or 11th of June I think from my last consultation xx so over halfway now! Thank goodness! 15 weeks to go xx

@Blossom428 yes, going to try and keep busy and make projects! Not long till your 20 week scan, exciting!

@AnxiousAnnie86 I’ve only known for a few days and it feels a lifetime 🤣 You must be excited now, I hope these 15 weeks are smooth sailing and go quicker than the 1st trimester.

Did anyone experience back ache in the first week or so? I’ve had it on and off but today it’s very noticeable!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/02/2021 15:53

@mabelelsie yep really really badly! I still get it now too!! X

OP posts:
mabelelsie · 16/02/2021 16:37

Thank you for the reassurance @AnxiousAnnie86 I didn’t expect back pain as a symptom, or it’s not one I’ve read about!!

SS123456 · 16/02/2021 17:43

Welcome @mabelelsie 😊. We have definitely all been there with the worry, it is horrible but perfectly normal! I am 12+5 and due 26th August

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/02/2021 19:15

I've had the most horrendous metalic mouth for the past 10 days or so and nausea. I vomited a bit today too :( has anyone else got these symptoms this early 4+1

Klprr93 · 16/02/2021 19:36

@AnxiousAnnie86 Ahh that would be good. I was reading you need an MRI hope all is OK. I work in MRI, the precedure will just be very long and very loud but try keep still as you can and it goes a lot quicker. I hope everything turns out OK. And @conundrum12345 I didn't have any symptoms until 8 weeks really. Definitely not nausea till 7 weeks. The only thing I did have was sore breast.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/02/2021 20:08

@Klprr93 I'm really Terrified of medical procedures as I have really bad health anxiety.... so I'm going to ask for another ultrasound before the proceed wirh mri, as it may be the placenta has moved by then.
