4 weeks today!

Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

@SS123456 husbands fave is Heidi, as our surname is H and we like the way it sounds!

Jessie is such a lovely name for a girl! My step sister has a girl called Jessie! I like Leila too! But think I prefer Jessie x

@SS123456 I'm about to sound like a prat but oh my god! That's only ten weeks? That's mental compared to the little smudgey bean looking blobs that show up on everyone's early scans! 😲 Youre about two weeks ahead of me, so it's so interesting to see what's going on with you. Looking amazing!
@AnxiousAnnie86 Heidi is pretty - I used to know a nice girl called Heidi.
I was also in school with a girl called Mallory who was American and a pain in the arse! 😂😂 My DH says so many names have been ruined for him by kids he was at school with who were knobheads 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣 I think we're going to have issues deciding, when the time comes!

It's supposed to snow on Saturday and I don't want it to because I have to get to me scan! Aaaaa!

Doing ok, had some mega cramps (one offs) during the night when rolling over, and I've got the worst most disgusting metallic sour taste in my mouth all the time at the moment, but I taking this as a good sign! Hope all is well at your end!

@TheOrangeMonster we had a scan at 7 weeks and 10 weeks and the difference between the two was crazy!!!

Mallory has always been my absolute favourite name, but I'm slowly going off it! I said I wanted us to have a solid three names then decide when she gets here who she looks like the most! But I just can't seem to find three I really like!

I hope the snow stays away, I had to cancel my gender scan due to snow! I don't think there's supposed to be much at the weekend?

Love your name choices @AnxiousAnnie86 - so annoying isn't it when they say no to names but then don't actually suggest any, or the ones that they do it's just like 'whyyyy' haha.

My partner said this morning I don't think we should find out the gender- I was like omg no! You can't say yes and then me get all excited for the 20week scan and take it away. I mean I know it's not the end of the world, but I've been so looking forward to finding out- and at least it will help us narrow the names down by half haha!!

@TheOrangeMonster I'm not sure if it made a difference and made it clearer but it was an internal scan that I had today 🤷🏻‍♀️. It could be that you can see things better early on that way but I'm not sure. It was lovely see what an actual baby rather than the cricket like creature I saw at 7 weeks 😂

@AnxiousAnnie86 what a shame that you had chosen Stanley! You'll just have to have another and hope it's a boy 😉

Yeah, we have 100% chance of snow forecast Saturday then 50% and 60% Sunday and Monday. Poo.

@SS123456 I think mine's an internal scan, the website says all their early scans are internal unless requested not to be.

@Blossom428 could you find out then not tell him?

@TheOrangeMonster I thought that was the general consensus too but my private 7 week one they wanted to do abdominal instead, I was happy to have internal though

@SS123456 I guess I'll see tomorrow. We have a snow warning for tomorrow and I'm really worried the appointment will get cancelled. My stress levels are through the roof at the minute not knowing if things are going ok or not, I really don't want to have to postpone.

Glad the snow has stayed away, must be a good sign!!
God for both my last scans I've drank far too much, have been desperate and the sonographer was like ooh you have a very full bladder haha!

@TheOrangeMonster oh gosh I was in actual pain with mine I needed a wee so badly! If it's internal they will tell you to empty it anyway!!! X

It's fine! All normal, they think 8+2. Saw a little heartbeat!
I had to go and pee because she said my bladder was slightly too full 😂
Such a major relief.

@AnxiousAnnie86 I was just looking at the baby name thread and came across your post before you knew you were having a girl...crazy as our boys name is going to be Teddy!! Unlike most posters on there that won’t agree but that is going to be his official name and on the birth certificate shock horror haha 😂

I was convinced I was having a boy! Teddy is my husbands favourite name for a boy, he wanted teddy on the birth certificate too xx

We've decided on our middle name for certain, it's going to be Amelia, my grandpa really really wanted us to use it as it was his mother's name and he's so pleased we've agreed! The first name we currently really like is Eleanor, but I didn't know if it was too much of a mouthful? X

I know I did think they were rude...it’s ok to voice your opinion but some take it to the next level don’t they! Xx

@Mctm123 it's just a bit bizarre. When people go oh my god no please don't ever call your child that?!!?

I like Eleanor as I like how many names can come from it. I just don't know if felt as strongly as I did when we came up with a boys name!

@AnxiousAnnie86 have you considered using a variation of Eleanor? Maybe Elouise, Ellie etc
