Hi all,

Hope it’s ok to post. I got my BFP last night I’m so excited but it has not really sunk in yet!!

I feel so tired but for the last couple of nights I have not been able to sleep, maybe getting 3/4 hours! Last night was the worst I had the feeling I was going to be sick all night!! The sick feeling lasts for about 90% of the day no matter what eat or drink. And my boobs are so sore!!
But with every sick feeling I know I’m lucky and it will be worth it in the end and toys quite comforting in a way!

I’m debating now having a private scan just to check everything is ok. But I just don’t know it’s my first time and I’m just so all over the place
X

Just had my booking in appointment, it's starting to feel much more real. The appointment was over the phone so I have to go in next week for bloods, BP and a urine sample. Yesterday and today are the best I've felt for a couple of weeks so hopefully things are settling down now has I had terrible sickness and nausea. Hope everyone else is doing ok 😊

scrambledeggy · 05/11/2020 18:05

LOL SAME @Bs93, beige cuisine is about all I can stomach at the moment. And my god I'm knackered.

Congrats to all those with new BFPs, wishing you healthy pregnancies Grin

I'm 9-10 weeks at the mo, does anyone know if it's normal to have on-and-off lower back pain? I get it when I've been on my feet for ages or bending down to pick stuff up.

LadySphynx · 05/11/2020 18:39

I hear you @swiftt totally echo freaking out whenever I feel ok. Very much regret wasting that time when I start feeling ill again 😅 was expecting to feel worse around now as I’m approaching 9 weeks but in general less nauseous - as long as I don’t let myself get hungry! Still tired all the time, but not sleeping brilliantly. Looking forward to dating scan and 2nd trimester :)

Willowtree12 · 05/11/2020 18:48

Hey ladies

So I’m having a mare . Found out I was pregnant on 22/10/20 ,LMP11/09/20 . Clearblue weeks test showed 1-2 weeks , Started light bleeding on the 24/10 . Clots coming away on the 26/10 . Was advised to do a test on the 30/10 which showed negative so early pregnancy unit cancelled my scan . So ever since the 30-10 I’ve felt so sick n sore boobies so decided to do another test clearblue weeks test which showed 2-3 weeks pregnant . Went for a blood test and my levels came back at 844 so now I have a scan on Sunday to see what the heck is going on as I’ve started spotting again but no pain . Has anyone else Had any problems like this in there past or present pregnancies . This is one stressful time as don’t know if I am actually pregnant or not EPU said the level would normally mean a pregnancy but I don’t want to get my hopes up . Hope ur all keeping safe and well xx

MarshallCleo · 05/11/2020 19:12

Hi everyone,

I have been following this group and keeping up with everyone's experiences since thread 1. I am 9 weeks today, due 11 June however due to a MM in June at 8 weeks and another very early miscarriage in August I haven't let myself get too excited. I had a scan this evening at 9 weeks and saw a strong heartbeat and lovely baby so am going to let myself be cautiously optimistic and finally join the group :) hope this is ok!

Coffee4me · 05/11/2020 19:29

@MarshallCleo congratulations! I'm also at 9 weeks, and have had previous MCs so can relate! 🤞

I'm ordering cornflakes and ready made pizza in my next food delivery, I feel like my taste buds have gone back to teenage years 😆

PumpkinEverything · 05/11/2020 19:53

@Bs93 if it makes you feel any better, a beige diet is my normal life 😂😂 me talking about vitamins and smoothies is me trying to make an effort! I’m a terrible vegetarian sometimes who doesn’t eat enough fruit and vegetables and lives on bread, pasta, potatoes and pizza, so I’m trying to force myself!

ladymary86 · 05/11/2020 20:00

Hey everyone,

Has anyone else been suffering with a really upset stomach? I feel like it's been constant for me but it's been particularly bad tonight and to make things worse, I noticed a tiny (really the tiniest but it was definitely there) tongue of blood when I wiped.
I'm really hoping it's nothing. I think I'm 8+5 and we are due to go to a private scan on Saturday at lunch time. I've not had a booking appointment yet, will an EPU see me?? I don't have any contact details so I wouldn't even know where to start getting in touch with them.

lucieloos · 05/11/2020 20:12

Hi @Willowtree12 sorry to hear about your experience must be very stressful. I had something similar a while ago and it was an ectopic. Kept testing positive but the numbers were low for how far along I was and was spotting all the time. Hopefully it's not that for you though but just look out for any one sided pain etc.

Viper84 · 05/11/2020 20:15

Hi ,

Congratulations all

Am I ok to join please? Current dates see me due June 16th so 8w 1 day. I’ve been for my booking appt, and 12 week scan on 7th Dec.
Feeling tired and sick which Is challenging with a 3yr old, but she’s been so good.
Thankfully working from home, so can be comfy in leggings and baggy tops.
Also keep getting an awful taste in my mouth, anyone else?

Scarftown · 05/11/2020 20:16

So told my mum and sister who are ecstatic. Told DPs mum and dad and let’s just say they were a little underwhelmed. Anyone else found the In Laws are less fussed?

Willowtree12 · 05/11/2020 20:41

@lucieloos it’s driving me mad , after the first lot of bleeding and clots I got my head around the fact it was a miscarriage and then for the EPU to say my levels are high which wud indicate a pregnancy I kind of got my hopes up again and now this bleed has made me deflated again . My past 3 pregnancies were all plain sailing and never had any problems . I’m now not getting my hopes up n I’m thinking the worst . I’ll keep look out for pain in one side and in the top of my shoulder but so far I have no pain literally just the bleed like a light period xx

Willowtree12 · 05/11/2020 20:46

@ladymary86
I had upset stomach with my past healthy 3 pregnancies and again this time but this pregnancy isn’t looking to promising tbh . I also get upset stomach before I have my period so I think it’s all to do with hormones . I got in contact with my EPU direct I just googled my nearest hospital and found the number to the emergency gynae unit situated in the hospital and they were fantastic and booked my in directly although I’m not sure if I was just lucky . My gp was useless and suggested I went to a&e if I was bleeding . Try not to worry but I know from my experience right now it’s not easily done xx

PinkPlantCase · 05/11/2020 21:35

Scan tonight, measuring a week ahead Grin can’t stop smiling!

@scrambledeggy i have had lower back period type pains from before bfp, i have them particularly bad today but havent been to the toilet since yesterday morning ao think mine is purely down to being constipated as it seems like a bit of a pattern with me

Happy2be · 05/11/2020 22:19

Just popping on again for those interested in the facebook group. Please send me a pm with your email address and i can add you on. Theres a few staying off it so completely personal choice ❤️

Happy2be · 05/11/2020 22:21

@ladymary86 ive had an upset stomach these last few weeks. Im sure i had it in the first trimester last time too 🙈 so hoping it will pass soon. Not constipation here 😳🤣🤣

Northernlass101 · 06/11/2020 00:14

@Happy2be

How do you personal message I'm using the app! ❤️

Is there a group name I can search for on FB?

Happy2be · 06/11/2020 01:22

Waitingforbabypage · 06/11/2020 06:51

@Scarftown

So told my mum and sister who are ecstatic. Told DPs mum and dad and let’s just say they were a little underwhelmed. Anyone else found the In Laws are less fussed?
FIL and his wife were over the moon, MIL was pleased but much more reserved about it. My mum cried happy tears and I haven't told my dad yet, he's going to be disappointed. Even at 35 I can't do anything right in his eyes so I'm putting that one off.
Dragonfly92 · 06/11/2020 08:01

@scrambledeggy my app this morning said that your uterus increasing could cause back or nerve pain, so it sounds like it is a normal symptom. I hope that helps give a bit of reassurance.

luxxlisbon · 06/11/2020 09:00

I still feel like this isn’t real! BFP on Monday night and called my gp the next day who told me to self refer to their partner hospital. Today I’m 8+1 so early but not that early and the hospital website says they contact you within 10 days which feels like ages!

scrambledeggy · 06/11/2020 09:06

Thank you for the reassurance @Dragonfly92 😊 @Bbdm1984 it could well be constipation exacerbating the pain, I'm on so many high fibre foods and it's still bothering me 😔 Sorry to hear you're suffering too, hope it gets better.

@PinkPlantCase @MarshallCleo congratulations on your scans!

I freaked out when I could see a little head on a scan I had at 8 weeks because I'm wary of getting too attached in case I MC again. But I'm going to try and take it as a positive that I've at least made it this far.

@Viper84 congratulations! Everything tastes like it's going off to me at the moment, so you're not the only one 🥴

MRJ86 · 06/11/2020 09:11

Hi everyone,

A plea for help! My nausea is out of control. I've not been physically sick at all (although I kinda wish I had as in my mind I feel that may help!?!) but I feel so unbelievable nauseous that I can barely function. Eating only seems to help half the time. I'm miserable with it and my poor husband is having to put up with a lot right now!

Is anyone else in the same situation? Any tips? It literally lasts all day.

I hope everyone is doing ok! Oh, I'm 6+6 today so feel I may still have over a month of feeling like this!

Thanks xxxxxxxxx
