Tatty1987 · 27/10/2020 07:00

Hello, I’m 5+2 and meant to be due 25th June.
My symptoms so far have been cramping, bloating and gassy, like very gassy! My boobs have been so sore but the last couple of days have really eased even though I’m sure they’re bigger. I have so much anxiety around pregnancy with this being my first, concerned that my boobs no longer hurt as much as they did. Has this happened to anyone else?

Booked a private scan at 6+6 and I just can’t wait.

milly159 · 27/10/2020 07:05

@MumToBeMaz I'm sooo sorry to hear your sad news. Sending lots of love and hugs your way xxx

SarahTTC2020 · 27/10/2020 08:13

Sorry @MumToBeMaz that's so sad 💛 sending hugs

I'm 8wks today, I haven't felt pg for a few days now though, boobs aren't as sensitive, nipples aren't permanently hard anymore and my HR has returned to normal. Not feeling hopeful but also thinking I don't want to go for a private scan either. Hoping I'm just one of those who doesn't get symptoms 🙏

Bearandbee · 27/10/2020 08:17

So sorry @MumToBeMaz thinking of you xx

MrsV2018 · 27/10/2020 08:35

@MumToBeMaz so sorry. Try and look after yourself.

Rodri83 · 27/10/2020 08:45

@SarahTTC2020 I’m 10 weeks today I haven’t felt pregnant since I found out , I had slightly sore boobs around 7 weeks but that’s all back to normal , I’ve been so fed up the last week worrying something isn’t right but I’m too scared to go for a private scan , you’re not alone

Dragonfly92 · 27/10/2020 08:49

@SarahTTC2020 I've had similar with RHR dropping. I read it can be completely normal to drop but I also know it is so difficult not to get hung up on the numbers. I've chosen not to sync my fitbit for a while as the stats were really affecting me mentally. I feel so much better after a couple of days of not number watching. Try and stay positive and I am sure everything is fine.

bex757 · 27/10/2020 09:12

So been for a scan due to my hg just to check to make sure it wasn't a molar pregnancy, and we are 6+ 3

Sitchervice · 27/10/2020 10:29

Nausea has landed, can't stop hugging the toilet... Send help

ChasingARainbow · 27/10/2020 10:59

7 weeks today and have been vomiting on and off since last Monday- hoping it settles as due to start a new job in the next couple of weeks and don't want to have to say anything just yet.
Got an early scan later today, keeping my fingers crossed that everything is ok x

curiouscat1987 · 27/10/2020 11:51

@MrsV2018

Has anyone had the flu jab yet? I'm not sure what to do. I'm a bit worried about the effects of flu jab as I've never had one before and have heard that the first one can make you feel really rough. And I feel pretty rough already.
Mine's booked for Saturday. I feel rough too, but I'd feel a hell of a lot rougher if I caught flu!
milly159 · 27/10/2020 11:56

Hey ladies, I'm just wondering if you have all heard from your midwives yet? I completed a form and called my doctor about 3/4 weeks ago (found out super early) and I've still not heard anything. Chased up today to be told I just have to wait which is ok I suppose but some advice of this nausea would really help, I have felt sooo sick everyday for the last 2 weeks. Its sucking the life out of me. Ginger nuts, ginger tea and soda water is just not cutting it anymore!

thefishthatcouldwish · 27/10/2020 12:00

@milly159 I saw last week when I was at 8 weeks. They came to my house.

Scarftown · 27/10/2020 12:01

I had my booking in appt at 5 weeks. And I got my scan date through as well. Seems to vary different areas as I have had tons of phone calls and things have been put in the calendar early.

SarahTTC2020 · 27/10/2020 12:30

@rodri83 @Dragonfly92 thank you for the reassurance, hopefully we are all just fine 😊

GeeHO98 · 27/10/2020 12:42

@milly159 I have my first midwife apt next week at 7 weeks by phone then my bloods the week after at doctors. For sickness I was told to try a sea band I've been better since I got it but I don't necessarily think it's because of that, I found toast & crackers help me hope it eases up for you soon

curiouscat1987 · 27/10/2020 12:47

Even my booking in appt isn't until nearly 10.5 weeks and I only got that because I chased them up. Seems very illogical as things like higher doses of folic acid need to be from the beginning, and if I'd waited to see the midwife as I was meant to I'd have been pretty much at the point I could stop taking it by the time I'd got it!

But I guess when we get free healthcare with a limited financial pot the money does have to be stretched out and nothing will be perfect!

BunAndOven · 27/10/2020 13:18

@ChasingARainbow sorry it was right back at the beginning of the thread, but can I ask how you go about booking an early reassurance scan?

Coffee4me · 27/10/2020 13:34

@MrsV2018 I had a flu jab for the first time and was all ok.

I've also hidden RHR on my fitbit. It's higher than normal, but gone down from highest point. So for my sanity, hidden the data to stop checking and it's not necessarily reliable.
