@leftitlate37 scan is the 4th November, feels like ages away yet. I don't know I'm tempted but I might try and resist. If all goes well I will book a private scan so DH can see baby as I highly doubt he will be allowed into any scans with me for the foreseeable future sadly.

Maria9876 · 24/09/2020 14:56

Yesterday I found out I'm pregnant 😊
I was 17 days late but to be honest that is always normal as one month I can be on time and other months I could be almost 2 weeks late. I took a test 4 days late which said negative so thoughtni was out this month but obviously I'm not. So i could be 4/5 or 7 weeks as if i went by my first day of last period I'd be 7 weeks. I had what must of been implantation bleed which lasted 3 days on 26th August too so no idea how far I am, all I know is that I'm super excited and happy 😁😁

RustyCat · 24/09/2020 15:36

@Maria9876 congratulations! How exciting either way!!

Gingergeek89 · 24/09/2020 15:56

@Maria9876 congratulations and welcome to the thread.

Just had my 12 week scan letter through. 15th October. Shouldn’t have a tail then as opposed to in my scan last week haha

Hi all, hope it's ok if I join! I'm 5 weeks today, due 27th May. This will be my second if all works out! I've been feeling quite anxious - started experiencing mild cramps today as well, which isn't helping. Crossing my fingers that everything is ok in there!

ShalomToYouJackie · 24/09/2020 18:26

8+1 today and all my symptoms have completely stopped, praying they come back tomorrow!

I had my booking appointment yesterday and my 12-14 week scan appointment is in the post. Even though I've seen a Hb I'm really struggling to be positive and so worried something will go wrong

ScottishLassie91 · 24/09/2020 18:34

@UnicornAndSparkles oh how exciting! I'm the same, cant wait so going to find out 😊 not sure why but husband and I think it's a girl. So weird as all the time before we were pregnant, we were convinced itd be a boy. Just need to wait and see!

@SurpriseNo2 sorry just seen some of my last message cut out by mistake. Good luck with the scan tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed for you xx 💜

SurpriseNo2 · 24/09/2020 21:11

@ShalomToYouJackie can you get a private scan to put your mind at ease and check? My first pregnancy we have scans every 10 days to make sure. It was the only way we dealt with it x

SurpriseNo2 · 24/09/2020 21:12

Thank you @ScottishLassie91 xx

Verity89 · 24/09/2020 21:43

Hi Ladies, I'm approx 7 weeks and my anxiety levels are through the roof :-(
I've lost 3 previous pregnancies (2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic) and all being well this will be my first. I am petrified something is going to happen again. I had lower left pain and had an emergency scan and thankfully able to rule out another ectopic, but that doesn't stop my mind from racing about miscarriage. I wish i could just shut off my brain, every single twinge makes me fear the worst. Its exhausting. Im trying to think positive but i have good and bad days when i cant snap out of my negative thoughts.
Anyways, i hope you ladies are all doing well, huge congratulations to you all. Looking forward to hearing how we all get on with the next few weeks. Is tine slowing down or what?

ShalomToYouJackie · 25/09/2020 07:49

@surpriseno2 I had a scan 3 days ago and all was fine but I'm still worrying! My city don't have any private ultrasound scans, I'd have to get the train to the next one and the next available appointment isn't for 2 weeks but I think I'll book it anyway x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 25/09/2020 08:01

Hello all! Hoping I can join. The other threads seem a bit intimidatingly far in!

It's my first baby and I am somewhere in the region of 5 weeks I think? NHS currently going from LMP which was early august but my cycles were massively long (141 and 47 days) post pill. My app goes by ovulation date and suggests a due date of 31/05.

I have an NHS '12 week' scan booked on 03/11 but think it may be more like 10 weeks!

I'm feeling only minor pregnancy symptoms (burpy, faint nausea, tired, crampy, boobs a bit bigger) but v v v anxious about miscarriage. I want this wee one to stick so much!

ScottishLassie91 · 25/09/2020 09:33

@Verity89 so sorry to hear about your previous losses and that you're feeling so anxious atm x
I'm really not sure if it'll help but I really struggled with severe anxiety and panic over the years. A few months ago, I went back to my GP and explained I would be TTC. They put me on an anti-depressant and gave me so much reassurance about its safety in pregnancy. They'll look at what's best for you as it can be a really hard time going through pregnancy Xx

Babypea21 · 25/09/2020 10:39

Hi everyone hoping I can join, I found out I was pregnant on Monday I will be 6+3 today. Our first one!
I didn’t even realise I was late I just felt like I was pregnant 😂🤷‍♀️
I’m getting quite a bit of nausea, I can go ages not wanting to eat anything and then suddenly I’m starving like I haven’t eaten for a week, has anyone else had this?

Sansa87 · 25/09/2020 18:40

This is a RIDICULOUS question for a 33 year old.

Constipation pain... what does it feel like?

I have really low central pain right now, causing me to panic I’m losing baby. I’ve had no pain all week, but I was eating weetabix in the mornings. I haven’t had that the last theee mornings and now I’m in pain.

I’ve never really thought about it before, & where it would be located.

Regretting the private scan I’ve booked tomorrow afternoon and feeling I’ve jinxed it, but could it be purely constipation pain?

imisscoffee · 25/09/2020 18:47

Welcome @Babypea21, I'm the same with nausea. Most of the day I can't face food then suddenly I'm ravenous for beige carby junk. I was doing quite well on a low carb diet before falling pregnant but now the thought of eating vegetables makes me feel sick.

wishingwomen · 25/09/2020 18:53

Hi ladies hoping I can join
Currently 5-2 after a loss in early June this will be first baby
@Verity89 completely get the anxiety I'm having the same I feel as though I've backed off from everyone and don't want to leave the house just in case at the moment it's an awful feeling isn't it! Trying to be positive too but it's just in the back of my head all the time x

@Babypea21 sounds the same as me!! One minute I'm feeling so sick then for the next full day it's gone I've had sore boobs constantly and a few other slight symptoms but they very much are there then not at all! So nice to know it's seems to be normal x

Staceypinny · 25/09/2020 21:02

Hi All, currently 7 weeks pregnant with my first! Got an early scan tomorrow to hopefully ease my anxiousness. Just wanted to ask if anyone else is suffering with cramps (mainly at night time) and dry heaving? These are the only symptoms I have. Is this normal? X

Beepbeep42 · 26/09/2020 08:12

@Sansa87 constipation pain can be really strong cramps. Not sure for placement, the few times I've had it I was worried it was my kidneys again (stones)! How are you feeling today?

7+3 here, waiting for an email from midwives with my booking in appointment (no idea if this will be in person or over phone).

A (vacant since January) manager's position is going to be advertised at my work. The Manager 'above' thinks I should go for it. I know he'd never discriminate (plus, illegal!) but I have a feeling I'll hold off announcing anything at work until after the position is filled. And I feel so shitty for that! But I've been there 9 years and this will be my last child then I'll likely be a lifer so 😂

Beepbeep42 · 26/09/2020 08:16

@Staceypinny it really is a case of everyone being different, but the cramps at night and dry heaving are normal and nothing to worry about Smile

Oh, I'm in the maternity bras already.

Sansa87 · 26/09/2020 08:41

@Beepbeep42 it’s very central, & low down.

Still not great this morning, but going to have some weetabix, & see if that helps. #PrayForPoop

Babypea21 · 26/09/2020 10:14

@Beepbeep42 you have to do what’s best for your family, I haven’t been in my new job that long as this wasn’t planned so I feel a bit bad.

My booking app is 8th Oct in person so will see how that is.

I know husband and partners can’t go to your first scan so thinking of booking a private so he can go too

ScottishLassie91 · 26/09/2020 21:15

@Staceypinny tip, last night I was like oh in doing okay after a few days of being unwell at the start of the week and now only got some cramping and sore boobs. Woke up this morning and after about 2 hours the nausea was horrible. Been running to the toilet but it's just really bad dry heaving x

Sansa87 · 26/09/2020 21:21

The scan went perfectly. Moved me to 8+2w from the 6+5 the scan at EPU put me at.

Nice big brain, & strong heartbeat. So glad I paid for this scan ❤️

Was lovely oh could see heartbeat for the first time
