No I was told I'll get the results at the 16 week check up at the start of December, those numbers are very good though I think @Littlebee1990

@Littlebee1990 is this NHS nuchal results or NIPT? 1:1819 from NHS is still considered low risk I believe?

I think that is still considered low so I wouldn’t worry about it. Might worth calling the midwife

Yeah the letter says low risk and no further tests, just me being paranoid! X

After 12 weeks of next to no symptoms (and convinced I'd had a MMC) I've just got back from my scan and all is well! Due 18th May 😁Was so bizarre to see baby moving after working myself up so much but SO relieved. Off to order some maternity jeans - I thought there must be a reason I'm struggling to do them up but also thought it may just be lockdown podge 😂

Congrats @Em4815! I'm due the day after you, very jealous of your lack of symptoms though

@Em4815 lovely news. Huge congrats. Always easier to relax a bit about maternity clothes after the 12 week scan isn't it!

Hi all! So I had my scan today... Had the shock of my life! I am expecting twins!

@bloomety yes 100% shocked! Never expected twins atall. I burst into tears when she finally showed me the screen and said 'here are the babies'.

I'm so happy that they are healthy, nice strong heartbeats and no concerns from the midwifes in relations to the babies.

That’s fantastic @RustyCat. What’s your OH said? Have you got kids already? If I were pregnant for the first time I’d have loved twins. I always wanted 2, so I’d get them both in one go.

Also, you did amazing not having a scan all this time. I’ve had one every week!

No other kids yet, this will be our first babies, second pregnancy as I lost one earlier this year in April.

He doesn't know yet! Waiting for him to hurry his backside up and get home 🤣. I'm itching to tell people but it's only fair he finds out it's twins first really 🤣.

I want to film it 😂 set up a hidden camera to get his reaction but I have a feeling he will be a bit boring and go 'oh cool'.

No I don't believe so as they have their own placentas and membrane bubble so they will be fraternal. Means a chance of one boy one girl 😁

Oh you should post on some nub theory groups on fb to see if girls or boys! Everyone says boy for mine.

Did you have a lot of symptoms then? Are you showing already?

Really haven't had any symptoms, I'm very lucky. Mostly tired and hungry but then I do go off my dinner sometimes.

Other than that I feel fine! Kind of it still feels all a bit strange that there's 2 babies but I'm so excited!

You are lucky! Especially having 2 babies and no symptoms.
