@bloomety a bit yes 🤣 especially in the afternoon/evenings. Not sure how much of that is the twins or me being a piggy.

Twins! That’s so exciting! Congratulations. My scan is on Tuesday but thanks to a private scan at 8 weeks I’m pretty sure there is only one in there. I’m really starting to show now! Fine hiding it from people with baggy jumpers etc but it’s hard hiding from my step daughter who has eagle eyes! Although she has seen the amount I eat so probably attributes it to that!

@Trousersareoverrated thank you! I'm kicking myself I didn't go for an early scan so I had a heads up 🤣 so it wouldn't have been as big of a shock as it was!

Same I'm fine if I have a hoodie on or something baggy but if I'm wearing a vest top for example that fits me it's a bit obvious... Well to me it is I might look like I've eaten too much though but there's deffo something there, not as much first thing in the morning but definitely when I've been up a few hours you can see it.

How long are you planning on keeping it quiet?

Good thing you can start to tell people @RustyCat! How have your family reacted to the news? Has DH calmed down?

Im going to start telling people straight after the scan. Feels like we have got this far so why not wait a few days longer.

My family have all been so happy and shocked 🤣. My mum cried, which is amazing as she's normally very together.

DH has come around he's currently house hunting 🤣.

Exactly we waited for the scan and after the shock I had to tell my mum. It'll be so fun for you to tell people!!

Hi all! Been quiet on here I’ve been so, so poorly, oh my second lot of meds which are average but still sick every day and can’t eat anything hot, or fragrant, I wanted so bad to have symptoms but I’ve been violently sick since 5 weeks and I’m 12 +2 today (I think) Loving all the scan photos, and twins wow! I have my dating scan Monday I’ve held off a private one all this time, even after 2 MCs to find out the other day my OH can’t come now because of lockdown, he’s so upset and I’m terrified! It’s so wrong 😑 We just want all to be okay and to finally tell our families everything se they have no clue! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

My scan is next week, like others on here I really want to tell people but waiting for the scan. Our parents already know as my OH couldn’t wait to tell them. We had an early scan due to IVF and wanted them to see it. It’s good but can’t imagine having to brake the news to them and my OH if anything goes wrong now.

Yeah we have only told immediate family and one or two close friends so far @Sandcastles24 I am very excited to announce to other friends tomorrow hopefully if all goes well

Thank you! Our families don’t even know we’ve been trying, or about our losses. I’m in bed already but can’t sleep with nerves/excitement/nausea 🥴

We have a healthy wriggly baby! I thought I was 12+1 from LMP but they’ve dated me 13 weeks today which is exciting. All good with the little one we are so relieved

Aww! All the scans are so exciting!! Lovely seeing the photos. Mine is tomorrow and I’m really nervous! If all is well we need to start the mammoth task of telling people via zoom.

First pregnancy here and I have my 12 week scan tomorrow 😊 we don’t have an official due date yet but by our calculations we think it’s due on 25th May.

I’m very nervous for the scan, so hope all is well with the little one 🤞 also excited to see them! So far we’ve told immediate family and my two best friends, but if all goes well tomorrow we’ll start telling other friends which I think will start to make it feel really real! I will let you know how I get on tomorrow! 😀

All fine at the scan - lovely wriggly baby on the screen. So weird to see all of that going on inside you and not be able to feel it. I didn’t realise how nervous I was until about 5 mins before it. I’m measuring 13 +1 so due on 17th May.
