That’s fantastic @lenny12345 congratulations!

I also got to see my little ones HB yesterday. I (stupidly) took a test and it was quite light so I frantically booked a scan with an hour to spare. When I got there I was expecting the worse and when she pressed on my stomach, I seen the hb before she even said “there it is” and I couldn’t stop crying. I was so so happy. She dated it exactly what I was too so I’m bang on track. I’ve to go back to EPU on Wednesday for a follow up scan as the one last week just showed the yolk sac. I’m feeling most more relaxed now.

lucymagoo · 01/10/2020 15:06

Amazing news @bloomety! So pleased for you all with your little heartbeats. Can't wait for my scan next week hope I get the same result

lucymagoo · 02/10/2020 14:02

How is everyone feeling today? Just wanted to check in.
I had awful indigestion last night and nausea this morning but feel much better now thankfully, a large breakfast and gulp of gaviscon sorted me out.
Early scan is 1 week today, nervous and excited Smile

mouldygrapes · 02/10/2020 17:41

Hey everyone

@bloomety @lenny12345 great news! So happy for you both.

I’ve been up and down with nausea and indigestion too @lucymagoo. 1 week and 2 days till early scan - time is crawling, especially when you feel pukey

NavyBerry · 02/10/2020 18:27

Oh I have been to a scan again. 5w5d! A little bean is there! No heartbeat yet but the sac is not empty!!! Praying it is all going to be alright this time!

Littlebee1990 · 03/10/2020 08:02

Sorry I’ve been AWOL ladies, I’ve just moved house and it’s been mad! Yay to everyone who’s seen heartbeats and hope you all have nice weekends xx

mylittlebean2019 · 03/10/2020 13:16

@lucymagoo - I remember the indigestion from my first pregnancy! It was the only symptom I suffered with and basically I should have brought shares in gaviscon the amount I consumed! I found certain food would trigger it so maybe see if there anything you can cut out?

Congratulations @lenny12345 and @bloomety! I also had an early scan yesterday and got to hear little beans heartbeat 😍 I got dated 2 days ahead than I thought which doesn’t sound a lot but feel like it’s two less days to be anxious about! Just want to fast forward to 12 weeks to get out this worry zone (although I don’t think the worrying ever really stops!)

@NavyBerry - that is good the sac wasn’t empty. Fingers crossed for a nice strong heartbeat at the next scan!

Good luck with the move @Littlebee1990!

I'm 7+3 today, been on holiday for a week which was lovely and relaxing but I couldn't eat anything apart from plain crisps and chips. Vomited a few times too despite being on cyclizine. OH was a bit fed up at the lack of holiday sex but understands obviously. Felt ok this morning so dtd (sorry tmi) and I've just noticed now brown spotting. No cramps. Have had a good cry because I've had 3 MCs before but no cramps has to be a good sign.
Am now lying on my bed waiting to see what happens. I know epau would say watch and wait for now. Hate this. Was beginning to get hopeful and have an appointment with my MC obs/gynae consultant next week with a scan.

mouldygrapes · 03/10/2020 18:40

@SweetpeaOrMarigold, I think it’s fairly normal to spot after sex. No cramping definitely sounds good but I can’t blame you for being tearful. Good that you’ve got a scan and appt next week. Keeping everything crossed for you. Also sounds rubbish to be sick on your hols.

Has cyclizine helped you at all? I’ve put in an online request for speak to my GP about anti sickness, I’ve been rotten the last few days.

lucymagoo · 03/10/2020 21:18

@SweetpeaOrMarigold brown blood is old blood and it's very normal for some to get dislodged during sex I wouldn't worry at all

I have a doctors appointment for anti nausea too @mouldygrapes mine is so weird, I barely feel nauseous and more just feel really unwell with painful stomach cramps if I'm even slightly hungry

mouldygrapes · 03/10/2020 21:55

@lucymagoo I’ve ordered some of those travel sickness bands to see if they help. I’m also seeing my acupuncturist again on Tuesday, that helped a bit last time. It’s starting to get me down tho. Was just retching but I’ve started vomiting now too. I hope you get some joy from the GP

lucymagoo · 03/10/2020 21:58

I already regret saying I barely feel nauseous @mouldygrapes I definitely do 😂 just didn't expect it to come with all the other feeling crap too. I started a new job a week before I found out I was pregnant so desperate to make a good impression, it's really holding me back from being productive

Catherinettc · 04/10/2020 00:59

Hi guys looking to join. Due on 19th May so currently 7 weeks and 4 days.

Already had an early scan at 7 weeks (pic attatched) and all looking good so far.

Wish I had a lack of symptoms lol I have nausea 24/7 and struggling to cope with it 😪

Iice to be on a thread where everyone is due around the same time :)

Is anyone else due on the 22nd may 2021?
SweetpeaOrMarigold · 04/10/2020 07:48

Thanks ladies, no more spotting overnight and only a bit of a dull cramp when I woke up, which disappeared Smile
Welcome @catherinettc I'm 7+4 today too! Have you told anyone yet?
I'm on cyclizine for vomiting, I can see myself going downhill slowly so have filled the cupboards with crackers and other beige food in the hope I don't get admitted like with my son. Harder to hide now because I feel so rubbish. I have this little hour in the morning where my body doesn't realise I'm awake yet, otherwise I feel really nauseous the entire day.
Also my boobs are still unbelievably painful. OH has just said they feel solid

Jlw2020 · 04/10/2020 08:33

Hiii stumbled across this thread as I’m due May 21st, 7+3 today - 3rd pregnancy of the year following miscarriage and a chemical. As soon as I got my positive I was wishing and praying for the symptoms to start and they’ve hit me like a truck! For 2 weeks I can’t stand the sight of food, anything makes my stomach flip so it’s a real struggle to eat and although I’ve not actually been sick I’m on all fours retching in to the loo, a bowl, office bin until I’m red in the face! I wake up about 5am with crippling stomach pains and have to run to the loo where the pressure on my tummy is instantly relieved by projectile bowel movements (sorry tmi 💩) and I retch for a couple of hours trying to eat bread bananas crackers anything. I force myself to eat for hours then I get a bit of relief in the afternoon but come dinner time I’m on all fours again! I’ve tried ginger biscuits ginger beer, sour sweets, have worn nausea bands for the whole week - nothing is helping in the slightest. I keep finding myself sobbing and feeling horrendously guilty having cursed people I know for moaning during pregnancy when I’d have given anything to be in their place having lost 2 but I’m struggling to function. I’ve heard of anti sickness medication but I’m not actually being sick so I don’t know if I’d be allowed it! Does anyone have any advice?! My OH suggested Andrews salts which I used to have with hangovers (I got them badly I’ve always had a sensitive stomach) but I don’t know if they’re safe? I’m so happy and want to enjoy my pregnancy I just need something to take the edge of! I’m writing this laid out on the sofa with my head IN a mixing bowl having been here since 6am 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hear it gets worse and peaks around 9 weeks?!
I’m seeing my maternity support worker tomorrow so anything I need to ask for I will tomorrow!

SweetpeaOrMarigold · 04/10/2020 10:00

Welcome @Jlw2020 I've found the tips on here are great www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/4011907-Hyperemesis-Support?pg=1
I was on this back in 2009 and it's still going strong.

Catherinettc · 04/10/2020 10:11

@SweetpeaOrMarigold aw bump buddies lol. My boobs etc are exactly the same. Basically all our symptoms match , I can only each beige food too 🤣 but getting ever so slightly better each day.

I've told everyone. I dont have a lot of family anyway (lost both parents and all grandparents etc) and I think if the worst was to happen I would rather have support than go through it alone if that makes sense? I cant really hide it either im already showing. Probably because this is my 4th child. I have 3 teenagers xx
