Feeling very anxious due to previously having misscarriages

Me too @Littlebee1990. I was so happy to wake up at 6am this morning instead of my usual 5am

bloomety · 22/09/2020 07:25

My resting heart rate has gone down again on my Fitbit. I've googled it and other ladies have had that and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy so I'm holding on to that. My husband keeps telling me that I can't control anything and just and let go and relax. It's so hard though.

bloomety · 22/09/2020 09:35

Anyone else getting milky white discharge? I keep panicking and running to loo to check it's not red

SweetpeaOrMarigold · 22/09/2020 10:01

I love that mc website it made me cry! I know it's still a possibility but after 3, it feels like I'm just holding onto it.
I told my friend because she was going to do my botox (I get it about every 6 months between my eyes for my Grand Canyon furrow line!!) it's nice to have someone to ask how you are. I told my mum last month about the MCs because I was all wound up about something else and it all just came out. I had planned on showing her a scan and then telling her how hard it was to get there, because I didn't want her worrying. Not sure when I will tell her. Maybe after the reassurance scan?
I've just had mash for breakfast as it's the only thing I found in the kitchen that didn't make me heave looking at it! Also glasses of milk seem to be what my body wants, so that's easy. I'm literally eating to not be hungry so I'm not so nauseous.
Cramps have gone but bloating is so so bad I look 6 months. Caught one of the doctors eyeing up my belly and huge boobs yesterday while I was wafting myself on ward round 🤦🏻‍♀️

SweetpeaOrMarigold · 22/09/2020 10:06

@rustycat have a look here, I've found it really helpful in the past.

@SweetpeaOrMarigold oh bless you! Hopefully the bloating goes away soon! I know the feeling, I feel bloated and have a pot belly 🤣 I know its not bump as there's no way at 6 weeks I can have a bump that size.

Also I have this little pregnancy app, baby is currently the size of a jelly bean, s jelly bean is making us all feel nauseous/crampy/sleepy etc.

Is anyone else due on the 22nd may 2021?
Littlebee1990 · 22/09/2020 10:11

@bloomety I feel “wet” all the time and constantly knicker checking expecting red

@SweetpeaOrMarigold With you on the bloating front, nothing fits and I’m full of gas.

CharlieD2020 · 22/09/2020 11:12

@bloomety what is your heart rate now? Could it just be that heart rate is supposed to be higher in first couple of weeks? I hope you are feeling better after reading that other women have had healthy pregnancies and babies after the same thing.

I just took another test, one of the clear blue dating ones. Says 2-3 weeks but I conceived on 29th August and it said 2-3 weeks a week ago when I got my bfp at first test. Just feel like crying. I don't know what to think?

CharlieD2020 · 22/09/2020 11:14

I honestly just feel so overwhelmed and depressed with pregnancy so far. I want the baby so badly and anxiety and googling things are crippling me and stealing my joy. How are we supposed to just wait and see

bloomety · 22/09/2020 11:26

@CharlieD2020 its even lower today - it's gone down to 65! I don't feel so stressed about it today though, maybe because I slept a bit better.

Oh please don't worry about those stupid tests. My friend had 5 MC and when she was pregnant again she could not get a 3+ weeks and was going out her mind. Her little boy is 2 now. Everyone's HCG level is different. As long as its increasing by at least 68% every couple of days, thats what matters.

I understand how you feel. I don't know how to just wait either. I'm managing better today because I've been doing housework and have work to do but yesterday I was crying to my DH. I think it will be easier once we can have scans to see all is ok. I am going to have them weekly.

Serz88 · 22/09/2020 11:57

Feeling really crap today. I'm all bunged up and full of cold, feel exhausted and am really bloated.
Just want to go home and lay down!

CharlieD2020 · 22/09/2020 12:02

Glad you're feeling less stressed about it today. And that you slept better @bloomety :) keep us posted, it is really interesting your heart rate is still significantly faster than normal, pregnancy is so interesting!

Thank you for your reassuring words! I had no idea I would feel so absorbed by this and terrified of having a MC. I knew it was a risk but it's the not knowing if it is going to happen. I'm totally new to all of this, can anyone have their hormone levels tested by gp or does that only happen if its a high risk pregnancy/signs of MC?

Sorry you are feeling this way too! Good thinking on the housework front. I am working from home but have got nothing done today, just sat in my pjs at my desk feeling sad and googling too much. A weekly scan should be so reassuring. Do you mind me asking if you are having those through paying privately or if that is something your doctor has recommended? DH wants to wait until 8 weeks to have our first scan. Restrictions here mean he wouldn't be able to come to 12 week scan which is so sad, so he would like to see private scan at 8 weeks because baby would look more like a baby than at 7 weeks, but I don't want to wait that long.

So glad you are having a better day today!

smallpotatoes7 · 22/09/2020 12:06

I had a scan this morning due to some bleeding, it's a bit inconclusive as there is a sac in the uterus but they would expect it to be further long unless I've ovulated really late and not as far as I think I am or it's a non viable pregnancy. The hgc level was 5000 I'm going back in two days to be re scanned and more bloods. The bleeding was dark red then some brown spotting and hasn't happened since.

RustyCat · 22/09/2020 12:20

@smallpotatoes7 sending lots of hugs and sticky baby dust your way. I've been there it's scary but take it one day at a time.

CharlieD2020 · 22/09/2020 13:13

Keeping everything crossed for you @smallpotatoes7, I tracked my cycles for 3 years to TTA pregnancy before then starting to TTC and I often ovulated later than normal, all sorts of things can make us ovulate later xx

mouldygrapes · 22/09/2020 14:43

Sending hugs @smallpotatoes7. Hope you are doing ok.
I’ve had loads more cramping and a tiny bit of brown spotting today so feeling quite down.
I’m only 5+1 so I think it would be too early to see anything even if I called EPAU. The pain seems to have subsided a bit now but it’s quite scary. Hoping it’s just old implantation blood coming out. I had loads of pain after orgasm last night (sorry if TMI) which is apparently normal in early pregnancy, so wondering if that shook some old blood down...

smallpotatoes7 · 22/09/2020 14:47

@mouldygrapes I'm fine thanks, I never get my hopes up in early days as I know lots can change. I have bled in other pregnancies from sun chorionic haematoma's which was very heavy and gushing. Time will tell x

CharlieD2020 · 22/09/2020 15:45

Sorry you are feeling down @mouldygrapes. What does your cramping feel like? I had loads for the 7 days after my bfp but seems to have settled now. Really felt like the start of period pains but not as bad

CharlieD2020 · 22/09/2020 16:20

After a 2-3 week result on CB Pg test today (when it should be 3+ weeks) my boobs are now not tender and are going down. Sorry for tmi but my boobs get loads bigger the week before my period and then the morning my period comes, they return to normal. It is physically noticeable each month, and they are returning to normal. Not feeling optimistic and feeling very teary Sad any words of wisdom much appreciated, first pregnancy and feeling it

RustyCat · 22/09/2020 16:36

@CharlieD2020 to be honest you sound similar to me. I have more or less not got any symptoms, yesterday I felt rotten and was sick but today I'm fine. From reading other people's posts it seems really common especially in early pregnancy to not have many symptoms.

It seems they come in with a vengeance 7 weeks onwards apparently 🤣

mouldygrapes · 22/09/2020 16:46

@CharlieD2020 sorry you are feeling down too. It’s so hard when there’s literally nothing you can do.
They were initially like pulling pains, now a bit more like period pains. Definitely having very light brown spotting when I wipe only. No red or pink blood. I’m so worried

CharlieD2020 · 22/09/2020 16:46

Thanks @rustycat - the only thing is I have been having symptoms (nausea, cramps, tender boobs, tiredness) but this afternoon it's like they are dieing off. I felt optimistic about the PG before but I now feel half convinced it's going to end in MC. Cramps threatening again, boobs not sensitive anymore, hormones not seeming to go in the right way in pg how many weeks test. My poor DH can't seem to do anything right. I haven't got dressed all day, just super sad feeling like a MC is on it's way. Am I just dreading the worst or is my body giving me signs to prepare? Anyone had similiar symptoms in previous pgs, where tender boobs have stopped at 5 weeks?

bloomety · 22/09/2020 17:03

@CharlieD2020 oh love you’re driving yourself round the bend. You need to step away from google and mumnset for a few days. My symptoms have been coming and going too. I think it’s normal. You can’t change what’s happening one way or another. I’m just now focusing on enjoying being pregnant. I have no symptoms either. My boobs were sensitive a couple of days ago now they aren’t any more.

You need to try to focus on something else. Did you say you were wanting a scan at 8 weeks? I’d get one earlier if you can xx

Littlebee1990 · 22/09/2020 17:05

Had some pain and was sent for an early scan and I’m so worried. I’m measuring between 5.5-6 weeks (as expected) and they found a yolk sak and a baby however she told me that the heartbeat is lower than they’d like to see, could MC in next 2 weeks.. want me back for another scan in 2 weeks. I’m petrified 😩

bloomety · 22/09/2020 17:10

Oh @Littlebee1990 that’s awful. Did she say to expect to miscarry? I’d have thought having a heartbeat - any heartbeat was great news. Ohh I really feel for you. This is so scary. Do you work? I’m thinking what you can do to take your mind off it.
