Sounds like an awful dream @RustyCat! As @Evey43 says, at least it's just a dream. I know a few of us have had really vivid dreams in these first weeks. I dreamt my mum had lung cancer last night and wouldn't get to meet the baby! Horrible, hormones must be playing tricks on us

I had a dream some boys were mean to me in a supermarket 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ very vivid though. Anyone else feel like time is going so slowly? The weeks until a first scan feel like ages away

@lucymagoo what a great birthday surprise for your FIL! Yes I completely get that, I also see the temptation to have a scan asap, I feel like time is going slowly.

Is anyone else having any ovulation-like cramps? I've been having mild tummy cramps for a week now (I thought my period was coming last Friday, then BFP surprise on Tuesday). They have been mild, nothing like normal period pain and I've had no bleeding. But today I feel as though I've had a bit of ovulation-like pain on my left side. I get ov pain most months and it's more of a twinge than actual pain. First time pregnancy here and I guess I'm worried it could become ectopic, am I just worrying for nothing or is ovulation-like twinges odd?

Crazy dreams again for me last night too, cramps are a bit less but the bloating is ridiculous, having to wear baggy clothes because otherwise I look about 6months already. Spent time at my mums today and felt so awkward and suspicious, hoping I didn't make it more obvious by being strange!
I will get a reassurance scan because of recurrent miscarriages, just not sure when. Last time they booked it for exactly 6 weeks but I'm 5+2 and haven't heard anything yet.

@Lenny12345 so glad you've got the 3+ on the test! I'm going to wait till next week to do mine to try to even out the wait between the first test and the early scan.
@CharlieD2020 and @Catisa I booked mine last Sunday for the 4th October at peek a baby, from ovulation date I will be 5+6
@lucymagoo I had to do ASAP. I can't let myself get excited until I get confirmation on viability!
@CharlieD2020 I am still getting cramps, I was certain I was coming on last Friday too but decided to take a test for some reason which came back positive! I worry each time I use the loo! I laughed to hard the other day and felt a cramp and felt sick with worry straight away. First time pregnancy so just paranoid about everything

@Serz88 I am also worrying all the time, when I feel a cramp I worry if next time I go to the toilet there is going to be any bleeding...
I also worry if I don't feel anything, is like...is it really there?
and yes @CharlieD2020, I've also felt some cramps this week, very mild ones, I usually feel them once or twice a day.

Thank you all for the info regarding the scans, I have another question, when you went did they do the normal scan or was it internal scan?

I had been having real vivid dreams about having twins the last few days, which is weird.

It so absolutely dragging! I sat and worked out the other day my official 12 weeks date is the 3rd November.... That's SO FAR AWAY 🤣

I am worrying because I did another test today and the lines seem lighter. The first was on Tuesday and the last 2 today

I've also had lower back ache today which I had last time before my m/c

I did manage to call the epu because I had a previous ectopic and they are scanning me at 6 weeks

Just hope I can get that far.. I'm 4 plus 3 today

@dreamingofsunshine12 I see what you are saying but could it be that you did the test at a time where you had less concentration of the hormone? Maybe the first ones you did them at the beginning of the day and the last ones not. I dont know, I am no expert. Backache could be normal, I had it the other day and asked friends and one of them said she remembers having it when pregnant and everything went well for her. Fingers crossed all is good

I am far from an expert (first pregnany and chronic worrier) but I would be thinking along the same lines as @Catisa. How are you feeling now? Hoping it's all nothing to worry about and you soon feel reassured

@dreamingofsunshine12 I see what you see too. Can you do one again today or tomorrow with a really concentrated wee? I really hope it's just dilution and nothing else. Thinking of you with my fingers crossed xxx

Thanks everyone. Just did an ic with fmu and the line looks darker. Also the tests from yesterday don't look so faint. They weren't dry when I took the photo whereas the others were so I think that makes a difference. Also realised on the first one I held it in the urine for more than 20 seconds whereas the last two I read the instructions and only held for 5!

I really hope that's why... crossing everything

Also think I might just stop testing now... someone on another thread said "you're pregnant until you aren't" so will try to remember that. So hard when it's your last chance though!

Yes it's impossible not to worry sometimes. But I think focusing on ideas like that helps

This is my first pregnancy, I’m 4+4 due on 25th May. I’m excited but so nervous. I self referred to midwifery yesterday and have an early scan booked for 17/10. I’ve had some cramping and some slight nausea but no other symptoms yet. It doesn’t feel real at the moment

Welcome @KL29, I think most of us feel exactly like that! It doesn’t feel real at all.

Had some horrid cramps this morning and got really scared, but it seems to have settled now.
Think I will book my scan for weekend of 10/11 Oct which will be 7+5 so hopefully big enough for them to see something clearly

I'm due the 18th May.

3rd pregnancy but hopefully second baby.

I got my BFP 2 weeks ago but I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in June so I’m mega nervous. I’m somewhere between 5+2 and 6+3 currently and due around 20th May, I think I’m closer to 5 weeks as I ovulated later this cycle. Tested today on a digital and was hoping to get 3+ but only got 2-3 weeks which was the same as a week ago.. hoping for the best and just have to keep positive until our private scan in 2 weeks.

@Emleighh I’m in Takeley so hopefully we can be baby buddy neighbours if this works out for us both!! X

@mouldygrapes I'm booking for the same weekend! The Friday which will be 7+5 for me. Hope it's good news for us both
