In honour of our third trimester I thought we should start a new thread!

Ah you are two day behind me. We have been pretty close whole pregnancy! Cannot bloody wait. Will give moisturising a try.

Hey guys, baby was due on the 4th... so 2 days overdue now and I just want baby to hurry up. Midwife attempted a sweep yesterday but the inside of my cervix wasn't open enough to do it properly. But she could just about feel babys head which is pretty cool. So im still waiting :( got another sweep booked for Tuesday.

I've been using an oil on the belly in the morning and then a thicker cream in the evening - a shea body butter from L'occitane, it's really thick so gives a bit of relief

Yes I am having a boy. I seem to remember during 20 week scan times that most seemed to be having girls! Do you know @pinktruffle?

Oh and with the stretching, ive found that calamine lotion really helps, its cooling and really relieves any itching.

@FilthyforFirth No, I don't know what I'm having, it'll be a surprise, I am desperate to know now. There are a few things that I've been holding off buying till I know whether baby is a girl or a boy which I want to get on with. Not too long left now though, and I'm hoping it'll be a pretty magical moment when we find out what it is and we can decide on a name finally!

Hi all just to say that DD arrived the day before her due date on Thursday. Turns out the growth scans were pretty accurate- estimated c.4kg and she was 4.1 (9lb 2). I had a lovely fast waterbirth (2 hrs, first baby was 3 hrs). DS was 2 weeks overdue so was expecting her to be late too and very glad she wasn’t given her size! Congratulations to all the other new parents and good luck to those still waiting!

I'm being induced today at 39 weeks (due to BP and growth concerns). Feeling really anxious but also excited to meet our baby! Really didn't want an induction and I'm hoping I won't have to wait too long...

I’m currently sitting up in bed with insomnia and headbutts to my you know what...I’m due this Saturday 14th Nov... I’m surprised I’ve made it this far as he felt ready to drop out at any moment just two weeks ago!
