Hope you don't mind me joining, 23 with a 4 year old :)

EBM20 · 20/06/2020 16:19

@Chl00 check out pat pat online too! They have a sale on at the moment and I've ordered loads from there, takes about 2 weeks to come but it is legit. Also we are getting big stuff like our travel system and next to me cot from online4baby, so much cheaper!

Chl00 · 20/06/2020 16:27

@EBM20 I keep getting adverts for pat pat but I’ve never heard of it they look like they do really cute stuff but was worried in case they weren’t reliable and online4baby is what my mums been looking at I might have a look myself as I’ve heard great things

@cl00 pat pat is definitely legit and they have some really cute outfits at a good price! Just be aware of the 2 week wait for it to arrive!

Lulubon · 20/06/2020 17:26

@Amyyy1 congrats! How exciting xx

Lulubon · 23/06/2020 20:58

How is everyone feeling? Especially in the heat...
I'm 19 weeks and feel terrible! Has anyone experienced this?
I'm extremely fatigued like I could literally sleep all day. I find it hard to hold conversation with anyone other then my boyfriend.
Has anyone had low iron or anything like it?

Claudia3771 · 23/06/2020 21:09

That's me in the Maternity ward getting induced due to reduced movements 😬

Had a 6 hour pessary inserted at 5:15pm, still no contractions or anything yet so will be getting another at 11:15pm! Hopefully things will start to move along tonight x

Amyyy1 · 23/06/2020 21:13

@Lulubon I'm 17 weeks and my sickness has come back so I'm feeling very rundown!!

@Claudia3771 Oh my goodness you're going to meet your little one soon! I hope it all goes smoothly for you, keep us updated where you can🥰

Lulubon · 23/06/2020 21:17

@Claudia3771 good luck! Hope all goes well x

@Amyyy1 oh no how annoying. I was actually sick last night! So odd, not sure what’s going on really x

Pol96 · 23/06/2020 21:35

@Claudia3771 good luck! Hope everything goes well for you! X

EBM20 · 23/06/2020 23:07

@Lulubon I'm 18 weeks feeling fine, been taking extra care in making sure I'm drinking lots of water and not sitting out in the sun too long. I'm sure I would be feeling worse if I was working but currently waiting to see if my new job I was supposed to start at the start of April still want me, so not doing a lot at the moment! Drove the car to the garage and back today and sat in the garden watching my niece in the swimming pool so nothing majorly strenuous!

@Claudia3771 good luck! Hope everything goes well! Keep us updated when you can!

Claudia3771 · 23/06/2020 23:11

Thanks guys 😊 getting more tightenings now which is a good sign x

EBM20 · 23/06/2020 23:15

@Claudia3771 exciting step fallword! Have you got a birth partner with you or do you have to wait until your in 'active labour'? I know some hospitals aren't allowing birth partners to join them until they are in active labour!

Claudia3771 · 23/06/2020 23:17

@EBM20 only me here, they said as soon as I'm the labour ward my partner can come up. I've gave him a huge list of tasks to do though to keep him busy Grin

EBM20 · 23/06/2020 23:22

@Claudia3771 keeping him busy and awake, good plan! Hope you don't live too far from the hospital! Luckily my hospital are letting birth partners beeing there from being induced, my hospital is a 45 minute drive away in good traffic! Hoping to be allowed to give birth at the birth centre only 20 minutes away from my home!

LizzyAnna99 · 23/06/2020 23:25

@Lulubon I’m almost 36 weeks now and felt like that lovely 2nd trimester energy never appeared for me! I was still exhausted :-(

Lulubon · 24/06/2020 08:38

@EBM20 I’m glad you feel okay. I deffo need to drink more water but I’ve basically been doing nothing as well. I think I was expecting a huge increase in energy in the second trimester but it just hasn’t happened.

@LizzyAnna99 I think that’s what’s happened to me too! I had hyperemesis and only very recently stopped being sick so I wonder if there’s a connection...

EBM20 · 24/06/2020 08:50

@lulubon doctors thought I had HG, turns out to be acid reflux! On day 6 of anti acid tablets and not been sick once! Maybe that's why I'm feeling better than ever since I spent the past 13 weeks throwing up every meal!

Lulubon · 24/06/2020 09:11

@EBM20 oh how weird! Glad it stopped for you. I think mine only stopped just over a week ago but I was throwing up 8-9x a day and became quite severely underweight. Deffo took it toll 😫

BabyG08 · 24/06/2020 09:34

@Claudia3771 hope you’re getting on okay!!

How’s everyone else feeling in this heat 😓??
I’ve just touched 33weeks and I’m feeling dreadful and so uncomfortable. I’m ready for a baby now please 😂

Claudia3771 · 24/06/2020 14:41

What a horrible night Confused 3rd Pessary went in and soon after his HR dipped below 70bpm for 2 mins... 5 times! So I've been hooked onto a monitor since. I'm only 1cm dilated so if he dips again it'll be an emergency c section x

Awkes · 24/06/2020 15:01

Only just caught up in the chat. Hope things speed up for you soon @Claudia3771 sounds like you’re having a bit of a stressful time of it. Just think you’ll soon have the little one with you ❤️

I’m melting with this warm! Don’t do well with the heat anyway tbh but now with a belly I just feel horrid. Feel sorry for all you ladies further along! Think I’d be spending all day in a cold bath if I was any bigger.

Claudia3771 · 24/06/2020 22:14

Elliot was born via EMCS at 17:16, weighing 7lbs 6oz Smilehe's doing very well now he's out!
