Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

@WindsorBlues I've done 4 one everyday since I found out and I have a digital to do at the weekend 😂

Guiltyfeminist1 · 14/05/2020 23:17

Windsor what an amazing story! That must've been such a wonderful surprise! Congratulations :)

Dia12 · 15/05/2020 00:51

Congratulations everyone.
We've been trying for nearly 4 years and have had 4 chemical pregnancies. All losses before week 5 and each time I'd tested early and watched the HPT line get weaker.

This time I was actually late for my period and so took a test on Sunday and to my surprise a BFP. I had zero symptoms besides the missing period.

Today I'm 5w exactly and still PUOP! Feeling some sharp pulling pains around the right and left sides of uterus but none of the other typical symptoms.
Are these pains normal?

How is everyone doing?

Yea ive gad cramp type pulling pains off and on.. It's all so exciting.feels like forever until the 12 week scansStar

Onekidnoclue · 15/05/2020 08:33

@WindsorBlues that’s incredible! Extra congratulations to you!
I had quite a significant pain on one side and bleeding with my first. Emergency scans showed I had a cyst the size of a mango on my ovary! Apparently nothing to worry about, just hurts and is a bit of a gross thought!

I'm only 4 weeks 12 weeks seems like a million miles away

PrincessHB · 15/05/2020 08:49

Another due 15th Jan here. Time is going so slow and really want to tell everyone! Lockdown is making it easier to hide though and nice to be wfh during 1st trimester for the moment with the occasional nausea and tiredness. #3 for me but over 6 years since last pregnancy so feels a long time and clearly forgotten everything as I'm still googling stuff all the time!

Onekidnoclue · 15/05/2020 09:16

I’m only 4 weeks too. Feels like an age to get to the second trimester.

I've just been reading up on first trimester - what foods to eat/avoid, exercise, tests, scans....blimey it's overwhelming. I think I'll just start with tweaking my grocery list for now before I get ahead of myself. I'm too scared to even plan for next week.

EllieJai44 · 15/05/2020 10:47

Hi Ladies! I had a positive test Monday but period due today and hoping it doesn't show! Lines are great so 🤞
Apparently due 18th Jan based off LMP but because I have longer cycles I've worked it out to be 22nd Jan which is my mums birthday!

My birthday is 12th January, then my nan is 11th, husbands dad is 25th and then my mum on 22nd so January is a popular month for us 😂😂

BabyDust13 · 15/05/2020 11:00

@Dia12 it's all a bit daunting isn't it?

@EllieJai44 same due date as me 🥳

Blossom93 · 15/05/2020 11:05

Hi @EllieJai44 ! Think you came over from the May bus? I was on that too 😁 Happy to see you got your BFP! I’m due around 15th Jan. My birthday is 10th Jan, my Dads and Step Dads birthday is 26th Jan and my brothers birthday is 25th Jan so we have a busy birthday month too 😹 always lovely just after Christmas as well!!!

How are you feeling symptom wise?

EllieJai44 · 15/05/2020 11:05

@BabyDust13 oh hayyy! 🙋‍♀️ haha

BabyDust13 · 15/05/2020 11:07

@EllieJai44 sounds like we're exactly the same my AF is due today and I got my bfp Monday 😂😂

EllieJai44 · 15/05/2020 11:08

@Blossom93 yes I was! Nice to see others from there in here! I'm keeping everything crossed that I will be the size of an elephant for Christmas 😂

Symptom wise not a whole lot, the odd twinge, not a huge appetite with some nausea and so tired! Wbu?

EllieJai44 · 15/05/2020 11:09

@BabyDust13 omg so similar! Heres hoping to a healthy 9 months for both of us!

ttcchapter1 · 15/05/2020 19:15

Hi, can I join. Got my BFP yesterday and due end of Jan 2021. Will be my first and we've been trying since January. Currently 4 weeks.

Anyone else really scared about misscarrying after reading so much about it on here?

WindsorBlues · 15/05/2020 19:51

Welcome ttcchapter1 I have a mini panic attack every time I go to the loo, wondering what I'll do if there is blood. I was trying to argue with myself that my struggle was getting pregnant and now I am it'll be fine but I know the Universe doesn't work like that. I'd never heard of a MMC before joining MN.

I'm just taking my husbands advice "let's enjoy each day and not worry about what could happen until it happens".

naomix6 · 15/05/2020 20:03

Hi everyone! I just got my bfp on Wednesday still a little surprised by it all! Estimated due date is 20th Jan!

Popcat120 · 15/05/2020 20:18

Hi everyone, there's a thread due January 2021.
Weve made a private FB page if anyone wants to join.

Lb603 · 15/05/2020 22:15

Hello, how do i find the Facebook page? Will people see I've joined (not told anyone yet)

Popcat120 · 16/05/2020 22:34

www.facebook.com/groups/658309048359573/?ref=share

It's a private group, so noone can see you've joined, and we've called it something not baby related anyways!

Violetlilac · 17/05/2020 01:25

Hey all

Due 21st January 2021..

Congrats ladies!

I am so anxious about MC. Especially as I have had some pink tinged discharge :/ I just want to get through to 7 weeks and then I might go for a private scan. Is so hard not being able to talk to people about it all!

Onekidnoclue · 17/05/2020 08:51

Hi @Violetlilac I think pink discharge is quite common for implant bleeding.
Not having anyone to talk to is so hard!! Good luck!
