Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

@angelascott gosh your boss sounds so uncaring - what a thing to say when your pregnant

@Opelbow I don’t want to scare you but my company have been awful. Again very male dominated. I always remember that HR work for the business. Not for the employees.
@lauraha85 is right they should respect your confidentiality but I know ours wouldn’t for a second.

@lauraha85 she is lovely but has no people skills at all and is very insensitive with her words x

@angelascott thats OK then as long as she does have some compassion - mind you there's plenty of bosses that don't have people skills , prob the main quality the should possess ha ha - xx

@WhoUsedMyName we have been through the list on pregnancy + and created a short list of the ones we like.

Amazing only about 9 girls and 9 boys names out of the hundreds.

My oh is one of those people who says oh I knew a this or a that so can't be that name.

We are the same we can decide on about 3 names lol

I think a second one is hard. No idea how you name 5!!!
Boys names are so much harder. We have a DS so used the only one we agreed on for him.

Scan went well and they've moved me forwards so I'm 12+2 now. They've rushed me through for a 12 week scan on Thursday for the screenings. Nice to be moved on and my new date is Jan 10th

Hi @angelascott my scan was yesterday morning and all looked good thankfully 🙏 will have a repeat scan for NT measurements next Monday. Also need to start thinking about getting a NIPT test done.
Glad you have a date to look forward to now, 9th isn't too far away 😊

I’m having a NIPT test. Will be the day before my NHS scan. The place looks so dodgy but I figured they send the blood off to the same place and email you so can’t really mess it up....

@WhoUsedMyName love them! I really like super traditional names. Would have loved an Archie but now I’m worried it’ll look like a royal baby tribute!

My Archie is my eldest he's 12 so I got in there first and my George he's 8 haha so they copied me. Here's the problem though do I go with ie theme again or is that to Chav. Somthing like
Teddie/Ted - Elsie/Els-Evie/Eve
Or break it like George and have a James or a rose or somthing I just don't know lol

My scan is the 16th July. Now I'm getting the am I actually pregnant worries.

@WhoUsedMyName I've had two nhs scans at 6 and 7 weeks then today and again Thursday. Getting great nhs service here!

@footprintsintheslow and they still made you more than you thought. After having a private one at 7+5 I'm thinking I get to the nhs 12 one and they say I'm only 10 weeks or somthing
