@1990shopefulftm so sorry about your dad. Mine passed away 11 years this year, so it'll be quite surreal buying cards with dad on too!

@dressinggown87 oh my gosh your bump is gorgeous! I was size 8/10 and 5ft 3. I've been told I will have a small babe because of medication I'm on.

Confession - just woken up from an intense dream night again. Absolutely wiped out! Could sleep forever.. my partner came in to wake me and I was pulled out of the dream so suddenly I feel sick 😒😒 still I haven't been feeling too bad this week. Did have one day where just moving made me throw up but it's all been okay.

Here's my little teenie.. sometimes still convinced it's food 😂

@justtb sorry about your dad too. I feel like any milestones can be a reminder but looking forward to get the cheesy father's day mugs and all the other things.

@Freddie1987 @DogCatDex @jaffas22 it was so much fun unpacking and testing out the pram! We now have the bedside cot (like a next2me but different brand) so not too far off on the big purchases!! We bought a maxi cosi pebble for the car seat as it seems the safest and a maxi cosi Zelia pram so they fit together. The pram is great, really light, but a bit wide for some. I'm happy with it.
@DressingGown87 it feels VERY real!!! Can't wait for my 20 week scan in a couple of weeks.

@Mc3209 that sounds stressful. The hotel option could work - you have the excuse of limited space. Try not to worry.

@justtb DP hasn't but I absolutely have. My first freak out was not being able to go skiing, then not being able to go to the Maldives as planned next year... He's great and sent me an article about why actually going to the Maldives with a baby can be great. It's going to be a huge adjustment but he knew what he was getting in to with me - we met in a hostel in Vietnam and spent a year backpacking together.

@dressinggown87 @justtb leggings and tops is my go-to at the moment, i have a really comfy topshop pair that still fit but like you finding tops hard, i like them long enough to cover my bum if i'm wearing leggings!
I have a couple of midi/maxi loose dresses that i could wear for weather like today, i plan to get a few more, i've seen a few on h&m, their loose dresses often come up big. You bumps looks beautiful by the way - you can definitely see they are baby bumps!

@Clalou83 the jumpsuits look super comfy! thank you for the suggestion I will look at these. I'd still be able to wear things like this for work when I go back too.

@1990shopefulftm @justtb sorry to hear about your dads, and glad you can look forward to buying dad things for your partners. We lost my Grandpa a few weeks ago. He didn't know I was pregnant as we didn't feel like the timing was right to say anything but now he's gone I feel so guilty he never knew, my grandparents are very supportive and feel my Grandma's sadness that they didn't get to share the news together as I know they would have liked to buy us something for the baby.

@roarfeckingroar glad your DP's hours of research paid off and you are happy with your purchase!

1990shopefulftm · 10/05/2020 12:38

@roarfeckingroar which bedside cot have you gone for? i don't want to spend as much as a nexttome costs so would love something cheaper.

Been doing more travel system research but looks like we'll be ordering a £99 one because it's all I've found that seems like it will fit.

Clalou83 · 10/05/2020 12:51

@WaveStreet I usually wear a plain t-shirt or crop t-shirt underneath and a denim jacket over. So easy to wear.

Clalou83 · 10/05/2020 13:11

@WaveStreet Also you won't really need a bigger size as there already so much material in them.

60sPony · 10/05/2020 14:22

@1990shopefulftm @justtb Sorry to hear about your dads, being pregnant is such an emotional time and can really highlight anyone missing in your life. My mum had died about 8 years before my son was born and I found having him incredibly healing and I really see parts of my mum in him all the time. Hopefully you will find similar when your babies arrive.

1990shopefulftm · 10/05/2020 14:24

@60sPony I look a lot like my dad so I think it's possible baby could look like their grandad :)

60sPony · 10/05/2020 14:25

Leggings and denim shirts are a winner for me.. long enough to cover your bum and ideal postpartum if you plan to breastfeed...

DressingGown87 · 10/05/2020 15:05

So my bump is a LITTLE HEATHY GIRL 💖

Was wriggling around, and wouldn’t stop looking forward so the scan pictures, are quite freaky looking. Placenta is at the back, which is why I’m getting twinges in my back, baby is the right size.

@1990shopefulftm sorry to hear about your dad, that’s sound such a nice gift for your DP I’ve gone from 32 to 34 too.

@justtb aww that’s such a cute bump. Are you on Fragmin too? Hope your feeling better now?

@roarfeckingroar Bet unpacking it all was so exciting! Glad your happy with everything. The Maldives sounds like a good plan!

@WaveStreet yes I have to wear long tops with leggings, as I don’t trust them! Got some clothes ordered form H&M but it’s taking weeks to arrive, so I’ve done some from Next for quickness’s! I hope lockdown is over before I can’t bend down to shave my legs though, as I’ve seen lots of nice midi dresses.

@DressingGown87 congratulations, first girl of the group :)

WaveStreet · 10/05/2020 15:17

Aww @DressingGown87 just as you thought! Congrats on your girl ❤️

SamK93 · 10/05/2020 15:38

@DressingGown87 congratulations on your girl! 💕

KitKatKit · 10/05/2020 16:26

@DressingGown87 Aaah CONGRATULATIONS! Finally some pink in the group haha Grin

Glooorb · 10/05/2020 16:28

@DressingGown87 congratulations on your little girl! The scan looks really detailed!

roarfeckingroar · 10/05/2020 16:41

Congratulations @DressingGown87 how exciting!!!

@1990shopefulftm I bought a tutti bambino cozee. It's quite lovely seeing it in our room 😍

1990shopefulftm · 10/05/2020 16:46

@roarfeckingroar I'll check it out :) really excited for when we've got somewhere to put the Moses basket. I've got a small amount of second hand clothes and sleeping bags, and just looking at them makes it feel more real.

Clalou83 · 10/05/2020 17:05

@DressingGown87 Congratulations on your healthy baby girl x x

DressingGown87 · 10/05/2020 17:14

Thank you all!

@Glooorb it was a good scan they gave me 10 pictures, this was the only one side one. The others where front views, with her facing the camera, so very weird as you can just see bone structure.

justtb · 10/05/2020 18:23

@dressinggown87 congratulations on your little girl! 💖💖

I am on venlafaxine, and I'm small anyway so I doubt I'd be having any 10 pounders

UpsyDaisy1234 · 10/05/2020 19:51

@DressingGown87 Congratulations!! A girl in the group finally!!

justtb · 10/05/2020 20:05

Looking unlikely that partners will be allowed to attend future nhs scans, doesn't it? Should I book in for a private scan?

Clalou83 · 10/05/2020 20:12

@justtb Iwas hoping to book a private scan in my local area after the 2nd scan maybe about 24/26 weeks so my partner can see. Weird how private companies let you can a partner. I have checked and they said yes it's fine.

1990shopefulftm · 10/05/2020 20:13

@justtb check if your local private scan clinic allows partners, some near me don't and others do. DH and I discussed it and he's happy for me to surprise him with the gender then we'll see how it goes as to whether we get a private 3d one later if they allow them again.
