Sorry for the silence but today was definitely not what we expected!
Called back to hospital around 3pm as was feeling reduced movements and was told to come in, just before I left DS gave me a cuddle and all of a sudden I felt a pop and ran to bathroom, waters had broken 😂. Got to hospital to be told every time I was contracting baby heartbeat was dropping but soon fixed itself and was 4cm dilated by 4ish. Was taken to labour ward at 6pm to be told I couldn't go in pool as it was taken plus with baby heartbeat they wanted to continue to trace it throughout birth, just as heartbeat was dropping again and they went to insert something to track baby from his head, I started pushing and he was born by 19:10 our baby boy was born with just gas and air and daddy continuously reminding mummy that she can do it and that he was super proud of her, baby Zac was born weighing 7lb 4oz 51cm tall and is doing amazing. We unfortunately have to stay the night due to the time he was born so I've sent daddy home for some rest and hopefully we are out first thing. Midwives was amazing and let my parents and son come meet Zac just after birth which was so lovely of them.
