Fingers crossed for all of you @secretlyhermione @gkeal3 @YorkshireIndie and @maryrobinson81
Ooo new job @YorkshireIndie exciting. I'm hoping that I'll get a new one when I have to return after mat leave as not keen on the one I left.
@HJWT hope you are feeling better. I know a few people who have used the hospital debrief service to go through their birth, what happened, what went wrong etc. They seemed happy with how it went and said it was worth doing.
Keep an eye on the breathlessness as it can mean clots which is what I'm worried about.
Ive had some occasional pains around my chest over the past day or so. They aren't sharp (which were what the doctors were asking about) but are more an ache like heartburn or something. But that's got me worried again. I don't know if I'm imagining things, it's my anxiety etc.
The hospital said if things get worse to go back, but I don't think you can just show up at the assessment unit. Also, I don't want to be sat around all day getting different tests done again (bloods, then waiting 2 hrs for results, then chest xray to rule out infection, as I've already had those done)
I just want to go in, get the scan and come home. Surely thats possible and I can just be sent to the scan department straight away?!
Not really sure how to go about it at all. Do I call the gp and ask for a telephone appointment, explain the situation and see what they say. Do I get a number for the unit at the hospital? (although the assessment unit don't do the scan, that's another department and I don't know which one)
I feel a bit lost about it all tbh and don't know who to talk to about it to resolve it.
