Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

@Absa @TheLongestWait @mrssunshinexxx I've just tagged you in my due end of June thread! As we are all so close together. If you can't see the tag then search "due end of june/start of July 2020" anyone else due right at the end also welcome 😁

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 10:40

@bikbikmum I will also tag you in it 😁

Bikbikmum · 20/10/2019 10:46

Thank you @MsChatterbox :)

TheLongestWait · 20/10/2019 10:53

Thanks @MsChatterbox I will join that one too!

@Absa I also keep doing pregnancy tests to check as it still feels a little surreal. Mine weren't getting any darker either but the one I did first thing yesterday morning is definitely darker. I've told myself I'm going to step away from them now otherwise I'll just keep panicking. I don't have any bleeding or spotting either.

Jemstar33 · 20/10/2019 11:03

Hi ladies hope everyone’s ok. I had my 2nd scan yday at 7+6 babies are fine, 2 healthy heartbeats. Such a relief. Going to try and stop stressing now. She took a look around and said babies looked comfy and settled which made me happy!

@Anny27 I had an external yday. I would say not to drink too much beforehand. If your bladder is too full then it gets in the way!

Jemstar33 · 20/10/2019 11:12

@anny27 haha, half a pint an hour beforehand was enough for me. Last time I drank a pint and I wasn’t sure I’d make it on the journey! When I got there we couldn’t see anything other than my bladder lol and it was tough with her pressing on my stomach.

I can’t wait to hear about yours 🥰

Got my BFP this week after years of trying and finally accepting that we were going to need IVF which we were just about to start!
Can't quite believe it still even after having a private scan this morning where we saw the heartbeat 😭
We're not telling anyone for another month yet as I'm 7weeks and 5days so just going to bang on about how chuffed I am on these forums!
If anyone has any tips or anything I'm all ears as this is my first and I've never really let myself do that much research whilst struggling with my fertility!
Thanks xx

Anny27 · 20/10/2019 16:33

Jemstar33 · 20/10/2019 16:40

Thank you @AmyMaria2 ❤️ Not long till yours!

Not sure what I’ll do yet @anny27 I’ll see how I feel in a couple of weeks. My officially scan will be 12+6 and that’s if they don’t change it which is likely as they’ll need to make the appointment longer now there’s two.

Congratulations @MissMum2020 what a wonderful story to tell everyone! I wish you the world of luck ☺️🎉

I'm 6 weeks today and have my 1st scan tomorrow! I'm so worried he'll tell me it's bad news because I just feel far to over the moon for this to be true, but I've got lots of symptoms still so praying all will be well, and I'll get to hear my little pumpkins heartbeat 🥰

So lovely seeing all your posts and scans!
Have a great week ladies 🌈xx

Babysharkdododododododododod · 20/10/2019 17:37

Congratulations everyone! We had our little shock yesterday, baby number three. After four years of trying for our first and a struggle with our second, we are amazed we fell pregnant again when we were taking precautions haha! There things happen for a reason and we are over the moon. Is there a due in June Facebook group? Xx

Evening ladies, hope you've all had good weekends. I've not done too much - tiredness is still wiping me out! I booked my early scan in - 1st November. I'll be 7+5 by then.

@Jemstar33 glad your scan went well! Great news they're doing well!

@missmum2020 congratulations! I too never really believed it would happen, and do had to do some quick reading up! Must say I wasn't expecting how rubbish I'm feeling! Main thing is to start taking folic acid - it's in the branded combined pregnancy vitamins, or you can take it separately. Then I'd take a look on the NHS website about food to avoid. Then I'd relax for a bit, it's a weird waiting game for a while!
@Babysharkdododododododododod congratulations!

Wonder if anyone else is feeling that it's not all real? I really don't feel pregnant, and in reality feel quite low, though this is the best thing ever to have happened. I have depression anyway and hormones are naturally making it worse, so I know why, and it will improve, it just doesn't feel real that I'm PG though. Even now I have seen a heart beat!

Thank you so much everyone for your comments and advice! It's so nice to speak about it and don't know how I'm going to keep it quiet for another 4 weeks!
Really looking forward to this journey and sharing it with you all Smile xx

AmyMaria2 · 20/10/2019 20:36

Congratulations @MissMum2020, I was ttc 2 years before this bfp first baby😁

When the thread has 1000 posts it will not let anyone post anymore so we'll have to make a new one and everyone find it. Lol

Sounds like we've been going through the same thing! Surreal to have finally got a BFP isn't it 🥰 congratulations x
