Due June 2020...

Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

Can I join? Going off when I ovulated, I'm 4 weeks and 1 day, and got my BFP on Monday at 10 dpo, so due end of May/beginning of June. No symptoms at all so far!

Jellybot -I've no real symptoms other than sore boobs and the odd twinge. But this is #2 for me and I had no symptoms last time round either so trying not to worry!!

@herewegoagain20 I feel the same about the May buss. I'm due May 30th, you? Cheekily started the June group in Antenatal yesterday 🙊

My only symptom is extreme clumsiness @Jellybott nearly cut my thumb off last night!

I've not told anyone yet (apart from dp) so it's good find some people to share it with!

It's our first, I'm 31 and it was only our 2nd cycle so we were shocked that it happened so quickly. I just want to skip forward a few weeks now, so it feels a bit 'safer'!

Has anyone referred to the midwife yet? I was going to wait another week, but got the ball rolling on it yesterday just incase I have any worries I want to run by them. It made it all feel a bit more real too.

That's exciting @Jellybott, I know what you mean about feeling safe. First time round I was extremely lucky in that I had barely any symptoms, however the flip side was I didn't feel very pregnant and I found that disconcerting.

Haven't contacted anyone yet. I've totally forgotten the procedure. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Congrats @LoveRainbow02! How old is DC1?

Dc1 is 18 months at present so will be just over 2 when dc2 arrives. Eeekk!

@LoveRainbow02, mines 16 months and still co-sleeping. I keep reminding myself 9 months is a long time.

How are you coping with the co-sleeping? I done that with my ds for a few months then stopped it when he was around 10 months old as lack of sleep was torturing me! Thankfully hes been in his own room since then and sleeping from 6.30 to 7.

Agree seeing the words ‘pregnant’ makes it seem all the more real! I have a digital test sitting in a drawer until I feel certain enough to use it!

Although it’s getting darker, I only have a very faint line so prepared that I may get pushed back a few days! My daughter’s birthday is the 29th, so it’d be cool for them to share one

It's not too bad @LoveRainbow02 but I suspect it will get more challenging as I get bigger! He will sleep in the cot for a bit, in fact the other night he went through until 4am! I'm hoping he'll get the hang of it. I get better sleep having him in with us than trying to fight with him to stay in his bed.

@MamaPeas you would do anything for a sleep wouldnt you lol. Its tough when you have rough nights with them. My ds doesn't settle in my bed now if I bring him in for a cuddle, prefers his cot lol!

I've set up a Facebook Group ladies, its a closed group for now, but will look to make it private in the future. I've found having a supportive Facebook group pretty invaluable with my first so really keen to have that same network of people in the same boat with my second. It's easier to keep up with different threads of conversations etc on FB. Anyone else fancy being an admin?

So I tested 2 days ago and the digital said 1-2 weeks, used the other digital today and now its saying 2-3 weeks 🤷‍♀️. Only missed my period yesterday lol!

I'm pretty sure those things work by some kind of witchcraft @LoveRainbow02 😂

@Jellybott i contacted the midwife yesterday and got an appointment for late october when i will be 9ishweeks (think they have a lot of patients so glad i booked earlyish as other wise might have been a longer wait)
