We are home! Thank god!
Spent ages on the monitor - they couldn’t get a good baseline because baby is so lively. A few tightenings showed up, but nothing to write home about.
the dr scanned & prodded my scar and doesn’t think it’s too precarious. I have to go straight in if something kicks off, but other than that, we’re sticking to the plan for 14/10.
I’m so relieved! We are not ready for a baby just yet. The house is upside down with stuff that needs sorting. All the sofa covers had to be pulled off this morning thanks to ds’ puke. god only knows what I chucked in the hospital bags. And, as much as I despise pregnancy, I do want him to stay in as long as possible to avoid any complications.
@Frizzy1986 the midwife basically told me to drive straight to hospital & to take my bags in case the scar was at risk of rupture! I thought she was joking, but she was very serious and said they would want the baby out ASAP if so. It was a bit of a shock, especially as I still hadn’t got round to sorting a bag. I’m sure we would’ve managed.
@secretlyhermione I had done so much washing over the weekend while the weather was nice. I finally felt on top of stuff. But now, thanks to ds’ puking, I have another million loads to do. It never ends!
@slinkyreptile - our house is the opposite of clean at the moment. Can’t wait for ds to get back to school so I can blitz it. Nothing beats a clean house.
@Em39ma - bump dropping is a good sign!
Hope everyone else is ok. It’s been a long day for us - I think I’ll be in bed by 8!
