Starting a new thread for all of us that find ourselves pregnant again after one or more heartbreaking losses. I know it is really hard to join a pregnancy thread after miscarriage and we all fear the worst will happen again, but let's go on this journey together and hold hands along the way.

This is a safe place for all the ladies on the first pregnancy missed miscarriage thread and for any newcomers who want to join - you are all most welcome! All of the ladies on here have suffered one or more miscarriages and most of us have had particularly difficult losses, such as mmc and other complications. You don't need to be pregnant again to join - you are also most welcome if you have had a loss and are trying again. But we will be sharing scan photos and details of the new pregnancies, in case anyone might find that to be triggering.

Tagging @Catconfusion @Amanda81 @Kiki061190 @3204ECL @Babypending @Ginmonkey84 @MrsMGE and please add anyone else I may have left off. Without further ado, let's start the roll call.

About me: Age 31, trying for my first baby. Previous mmc at 12 weeks in February (hb stopped at 9+4), this turned out to be a partial molar pregnancy and I was monitored by CX hospital for three months. CP in March.

Now 9 weeks, EDD in March, if I make it that long. Oscillating between hope and extreme anxiety every day!

@Catconfusion I just had a call from the doctors and got worried but they were just checking my address was up to date! How are you feeling today?

@sadtoday21 @bananamonkey Thank you so much ladies! I’m so so nervous but will let yous know either way if it’s good or bad news!

Catconfusion · 03/10/2019 11:40

@Kiki061190 oh no that's just typical. I'm ok thanks. The sickness feels a bit better. I'm managed to get dressed and do a tiny bit of housework. I think DH May fall over when he gets home. I still gag when I get up but no vomiting today. It's made me realise how awful I've felt. Just want to get the scan done now! Xx

Kiki061190 · 03/10/2019 11:49

@Catconfusion Hahahaha I’ve been lacking on the housework front! I leave most of it until the weekend now. OH has been helping out quite a bit as well!

Catconfusion · 03/10/2019 11:52

@Kiki061190 my DH has literally done everything since I was 6 weeks. I've struggled with bending and moving without being sick so spent most the time stuck in bed or on the sofa. He's a star and hasn't complained once. It's actually been nice to open the curtains and make the bed. I'm starting to think maybe the worst has passed! Xx

Kiki061190 · 03/10/2019 11:54

@Catconfusion I feel bad because I’ve not DTD with OH in about almost 2 weeks! If all goes well today then we can! I’ve just felt so so awful recently! Sounds like you have a fab and super supportive OH!

Catconfusion · 03/10/2019 12:03

@Kiki061190 I'm sure he understands and will be pleased to get back into it. It's so hard when you're not well. My poor DH has waited since the conception very patiently. I'm planning to give it a go on Sunday on our anniversary. Xx

Kiki061190 · 03/10/2019 17:19

Hi ladies! Baby doing well and measuring at 11+6. He or she would not behave tho, they were completely set on playing with their toes so we couldn’t get the downs measurements so I need to go back on the 21st Oct.

bananamonkey · 03/10/2019 17:48

Ah fantastic @Kiki061190! That’s great you have time to to go back again. And you’ll get another chance to see the wriggly little one.

So12345 · 03/10/2019 17:54

@Kiki061190 Hooray! Glad everything is going well and nice for you that you can have another wee check soon x

Kiki061190 · 03/10/2019 19:10

Thanks ladies!

@bananamonkey Your scan is so soon! Haha can’t wait to see baby again, I was amazed at how much they’ve grown. Of course I would have the misbehaving baby! I was jumping around ect and it was not having any of it!

Kiki061190 · 03/10/2019 19:14

@So12345 Thank you so much! How are you feeling?

@Cazzy198 Thank you 😘♥️

@sadtoday21 Yay! Scan buddies! How have you been feeling anxiety wise? I’m glad we get to see baby again in 2 and a half weeks then we are going to book a gender scan for 2 weeks after that if all goes well!

Puppymum · 03/10/2019 19:27

Such great news @Kiki061190 !! And actually kind of great that you get to have another scan in a couple of weeks. So very pleased for you

So12345 · 03/10/2019 20:24

@Kiki061190 Ah you know. All I can do is test tomorrow to see if we’re still going and then wait for first scan.

Question for anyone: in v early pregnancy- say 4-5 weeks did you feel gentle pressure sometimes? Nothing like period pain, almost a bit more like wind?

Catconfusion · 03/10/2019 20:30

@So12345 yes I had lots of pressure and twinges. A bit of mild cramping too. I think it's just everything starting to grown. Try not to worry! Xx

So12345 · 03/10/2019 20:31

Thanks @Catconfusion hey I’m losing track- have you a scan tomorrow?

Kiki061190 · 03/10/2019 20:36

@Puppymum I’m glad I get to see bubba in 18 days. Can’t wait!

@So12345 I had a constant feeling of pressure and then some pain. I still have a feeling of pressure now!

Kiki061190 · 04/10/2019 08:41

Good luck today @Catconfusion ♥️ Is your appointment in the morning or afternoon?

Catconfusion · 04/10/2019 08:48

Hey @Kiki061190 I'm now getting ready to pick DH up and go. It's so nerve wracking! Xx

Kiki061190 · 04/10/2019 09:02

@Catconfusion I’m going to keep an eye on my phone all day! Sending lots of love ♥️

sadtoday21 · 04/10/2019 10:20

Good luck today @Catconfusion, I’m sure all will be well!! Thinking of you today ❤️.

@Kiki061190 it’s so great that you can see the baby again in two weeks! Did they take blood yet for the nipt? I would definitely suggest a private gender scan at 16 weeks - its helped ease my anxiety for at least a week which is great. 17+1 now and starting to feel anxious about the 20 week scan, but going to try to put it out of my mind for a little while longer. It’s just about two weeks away and I will go to the midwife next Tuesday to hopefully listen to the hb again. I just wish I could feel movement by now, but I guess with anterior placenta I may have to wait a bit longer. What time is your scan on the 21st?

OP posts:
Kiki061190 · 04/10/2019 12:56

@sadtoday21 No they never took the blood or anything. I was worried because I never got a due date because baby would not shift out it’s position. Of course I’m now worried incase something is actually wrong with it and they never said but OH thinks they surely would have said if there was an issue.
