Hope all is ok @Dinosauraddict at least you know it’s not an ectopic.

Dinosauraddict · 12/08/2019 11:42

Definitely not an ectopic, I just don't know what's going on. I feel all hormonal and pathetic sat here on my own, my DH works hours away. One lady in the waiting room has her DM and DSis!

MunchyMunchkin · 12/08/2019 12:11

@Dinosauraddict I went alone both times in my last pregnancy and was amazed at the amount of people other patients had with them. Absolutely fine to be there by yourself!

ELW85 · 12/08/2019 12:22

@Naylor19 - good luck for your scan today!

@Dinosauraddict - that sounds awful; I hope you’re ok

Keyboard91 · 12/08/2019 12:29

@Yvonne1988 I hope it has stopped for you and that work is going okay

@MunchyMunchkin that’s amazing! Very happy for you :)

@Dinosauraddict I’m glad they’ve got you in so quickly. Will be thinking of you and hoping it’s going okay. I’ve seen lots of women on their own in the EPU, so it’s not unusual, but that doesn’t make it easier on you as your DH is away I know. Sending love your way xx

Hi everyone,
Could I please join? Not sure if I've posted here before but been trying to hold off and have been watching from afar. Congratulations to all those pregnant and so sorry to anyone who has or is going through a loss.

Went for an early scan this morning after a Chem, early m/c at 5/6 weeks and a mmc last year discovered at 8wks but stopped developing at 6. Early scan showed a healthy 6+6 baby, measuring 7.3mm with good heartbeat, I burst into tears, never seen a heartbeat before.

I'm feeling positive so I've allowed myself to join the group!

One question though- I went to docs around 5 weeks with suspected uti though symptoms were mild. Nothing found but lab found white blood cells & tiny trace of blood in urine, repeat test showed same. Dr think ok but being pregnant is asking speacialist if they want to want to see me- so I'm worrying about that now!! Anyone ever had this?

X

Jesskir89 · 12/08/2019 13:00

@Naylor19 and @Dinosauraddict good luck and keep us posted :) @MunchyMunchkin great pic how far are you now? @ineedanotherholiday welcome :) sorry not had uti

Keyboard91 · 12/08/2019 13:10

Welcome @ineedanotherholiday :) I have a kidney malformation and have to use catheters for a neuromuscular disorder so am pretty well versed in all things uti. I wouldn’t be worried about some white blood cells and a trace of blood when symptoms are mild and no bacteria grown. It can be caused by bladder irritation, a very mild infection which will probably rectify itself or the cells could have come from somewhere between your bladder and the sample (urethra/lady parts). Just ensure you drink plenty and pee regularly (although guessing the latter is not a problem!) and you should be alright :) but if symptoms worsen etc then do go back to your GP xx

Thanks so much @Keyboard91 I think I might have health anxiety because I've gone straight to 100 and started reading google which of course has led to bladder cancer!

Symptoms have died down though even through the traces are there and I feel fine (well aside from the constant nausea) but sonographer said all was looking very healthy this morning so I'm guessing nothing affecting the pregnancy. I don't know if anyone is the same pregnant after loss but any little thing sets me off!

Keyboard91 · 12/08/2019 13:20

@ineedanotherholiday it’s very easy to google and get to the worst case scenario ... especially when you have anxiety and hormones mixed into it. I have had 2 MCs this year so have been very on edge too. My google history was shameful ... I’m better now (7+4) than I was a few weeks ago that’s for sure! But everyone on this thread are lovely and there is pretty much always someone that can help you through when things seems scary or you’re worrying :) welcome to the family Wink

Thank you @Keyboard91 I feel better already xx

Yvonne1988 · 12/08/2019 13:30

@keyboard91 yeh it was literally one time. I'm done now. A bit achy but I haven't done very much the last few weeks. Only got another few hours tomorrow then I'm off til Monday!

Dinosauraddict · 12/08/2019 13:41

Thanks @Keyboard91 @Naylor19 @MunchyMunchkin and @Jesskir89 for the support this morning - very much appreciated. Good news is baby is absolutely fine. EPU did a scan and baby seems quite happy in there. Grown since last wednesday's scan, on track date wise and strong heartbeat. I however have got gastereoenteritis and stomach ulcers by the sounds of it - ideal!

Keyboard91 · 12/08/2019 13:57

@Dinosauraddict I’m so pleased baby is okay ❤️ Sorry to hear about stomach stuff, but at least you know the pain wasn’t an unhappy baby. Sofa, fluids and TV for you girl! Have you got to have a follow up elsewhere for the ulcers? Xx

Naylor19 · 12/08/2019 14:05

Happy news guys!! I heard and saw the heart beat and I'm now measuring 6.2mm from only 2.5mm Wednesday!! So my little bean is catching up Smile literally over the moon! X

Keyboard91 · 12/08/2019 14:12

@Naylor19 that’s fantastic news ❤️ so happy that pregnancy is progressing well!!!

Lots of good news today 😃

Dinosauraddict · 12/08/2019 14:14

@Naylor19 that's bloody fantastic well done!

@Keyboard91 I've got to go to either GP or A&E within 24 hours to decide if I need op/antibiotics/whatever else. I don't really care about me though. I'm just super relieved baby is ok!

ELW85 · 12/08/2019 14:15

@Naylor19 - that’s absolutely amazing news!! I’m so happy for you 💕

@Dinosauraddict - fantastic news that all is well with the baby, and hope you’re feeling better soon!

Naylor19 · 12/08/2019 14:16

@Keyboard91 @Dinosauraddict thanks ladies, it was so wonderful to see and hear the heartbeat. Sort of surreal after expecting the worst! I'm just so happy it's all ok glad your baby's doing well too @Dinosauraddict x

Naylor19 · 12/08/2019 14:18

@ELW85 thankyou Smile I literally didn't think it would happen, we're so so happy that it's caught up and has a healthy heartbeat! X

ELW85 · 12/08/2019 14:28

@Naylor19 - I’m absolutely thrilled for you! Hopefully it can all feel a bit more real now in the best of ways and you can enjoy it :)
Does that put you at 6+2 then? X

Naylor19 · 12/08/2019 14:30

@ELW85 yeah definitely, it does yes Smile I should be 7+4 but she said with the amount it's grown in 5 days not to worry about that! It does set my date back to April 4th 2020 now though x

ELW85 · 12/08/2019 14:53

@Naylor19 - ah totally, nothing to worry about if they’ve grown that much in 5 days! Just having a little growth spurt!
Do you have to go back anymore or is the next one your 12 week one?
I think there’ll be loads of us that end up in April, if it’s our first; I keep getting told they’re rarely on time 😂 x

ineedanotherholiday · 12/08/2019 14:54

@Dinosauraddict @Naylor19 I've been trying to catch up. Glad all went well for you both :)

Anyone 6+6? Think I'm due 29th March 2020.

Naylor19 · 12/08/2019 14:57

@ELW85 haha your probably right! I've got my hospital one on Wednesday, so we get to see and hear baby again which is lovely! X

@ineedanotherholiday thankyou! Your dates sound about right if I'm 6+2 and due April 4th
