It is indeed. I think I got to a point where I just expected something to go wrong every time so I really haven't allowed myself to enjoy it until now. Lots of sickness though this time which whilst I'm struggling, I'm also very grateful to have strong symptoms.

Yvonne1988 · 16/08/2019 11:57

I'm feeling on and off sick all morning. That's what I get for not feeling anything at all yesterday

DaniX91 · 16/08/2019 12:12

Wow this thread is very active 😊 congratulations to everyone who have had lovely scans! Thoughts are with people who are having worries.
I just wanted to share this trick (you've probably used/seen it before)
My friend just told me about it and it's definitely helping my bloat ha x

@Ninjamomma welcome :) and yes start to enjoy it now danger zone is pretty much gone :) @DaniX91 good idea!

Disney1010 · 16/08/2019 12:28

@Naylor19 I dyed my hair throughout the whole of my last pregnancy (my last appointment was a week before my due date). Just make sure you're in a well ventilated room, and be aware that your skin can change during pregnancy so you may react even if you never have before.

Naylor19 · 16/08/2019 12:55

@Disney1010 lovely thankyou, feel more reassured about attempting it now! (If I ever stop feeling sick long enough to do it!)

Frillyfarmer · 16/08/2019 15:53

Just sharing this link in case anyone is intending to buy one :

Disney1010 · 16/08/2019 16:21

Fully with you there @Frillyfarmer. Especially once the baby starts moving, any concerns and your midwife should be your port of call not a home doppler.

Naylor19 · 16/08/2019 17:10

Hey ladies another housebound day today with terrible sickness! Dr prescribed me cyclizine tablets to help for 14 days to see me through my holiday. Hoping they kick in soon so I can feel a bit better x

ttc19 · 16/08/2019 17:10

@DaniX91 I've been doing that with my jeans since last week ha ha. Resorted to leggings and a dress today though!!

Are you still ignoring your RHR? I've been thinking about doing it today (taking it off my Fitbit). I've dropped again.. wish I'd never found out about RHR & pregnancy! I didn't even know about it last time!

Patiently waiting for my 12 week scan date! X

ineedanotherholiday · 16/08/2019 17:13

Hi all,

Congrats to all the new comers!

Had a couple of days this week feeling ok but for the most par have been feeling rubbish. Low energy and nausea most of the day.

I've nowhere near a bump yet as I'm only 7+3, my bloat is up and down but the other day in shower I noticed I have put weight on around my belly. Seems odd as it's not protruding as such like bloat would which usually is very central, it's just general weight all around, eight up to the hips.

Seems far too early but makes me think I'm going to have a wide spread flabby looks belly as opposed to a lovely neat bump Grin

Yvonne1988 · 16/08/2019 17:30

@ttc19 my resting heart rate went up to 78 right at the start and now it's levelled at 67/68 your body just gets used to.the extra work and volume of blood it's pumping around

Jesskir89 · 16/08/2019 18:00

@Naylor19 sorry you're feeling crap hope you're better before Milan!

ttc19 · 16/08/2019 18:04

@Yvonne1988 That's what I keep telling myself but you know what it's like. I can't wait to get my 12 week scan so I can see a little wriggler and a heartbeat hopefully x

Naylor19 · 16/08/2019 18:13

Thanks @Jesskir89 me too! I had a little sleep after taking first tablet and I've just managed some crackers so that's a start!

Keyboard91 · 16/08/2019 18:15

Hope everyone is doing as well as they can.

I will create a new thread when we get to 999 comments. I will tag as many people as I can :) watch this space xx

@keyboard91 fab, thank you. Now to find it 😆

krp14 · 16/08/2019 20:42

Baby was looking healthy today thankyou @Jesskir89 they found a small bleed in the uterus but not affecting the baby, they can’t explain why or where it’s come from but said it should cause any bother! They reckon I’m 9 weeks rather than the 8+3 that the private scan thought so I’ll take that Grin

@DaniX91 what an amazing idea, I’ll definitely be trying that out!

Jesskir89 · 16/08/2019 21:29

@krp14 brilliant news :) everyone needs to join the 3rd thread march babies 3 x
