Hey ladies I’m still here just a little manic with the school holidays and the pregnancy exhaustion and sickness 😩@barnyb oh my gosh yes evenings are the worst it seems but then in the day I get a wierd bout of it suddenly, strange, nearly 12 weeks phew, scan on Monday it’s dragging now 🙈😩🙈😩hope everyone is well xxx

Brandygirl27 · 15/08/2019 21:33

@barnyb I have worn sickness bands from very early on, it may be worth getting some xx

barnyb · 15/08/2019 21:48

@brightside11 yes I can't have a dinner either ! Iv been having a toasted bagel for the last few nights which has been fine. But I'm sure at some point in the next few days il go off them. 🥴
your brave to be cooking !! I can't go in the kitchen once that oven is on.
@Brandygirl27 do the bands help!??
Xxx

SLT90 · 15/08/2019 22:17

@barnyb yeah I could happily be vegetarian at the moment! Or live on super noodles on bread alone 😂

AlphaLemon · 16/08/2019 05:19

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining in!
Due 03/03 and currently feeling awful with pneumonia! I’ve lost almost a stone and was only small to begin with!

I have a lot of the nausea/sickness you’ve all been describing... getting jealous of those people who “crave healthy foods”!

I love seeing the scan pics and really grateful to have found the advice about the bands. Anyone else suffering with insomnia?

Brandygirl27 · 16/08/2019 05:48

@barnyb well I have only thrown up once this time and I literally got them and started wearing them as I found out and I haven’t been as bad as I was with my son or daughter so I defo think they must huni, defo. Defo get some :) I wear them all the time apart from bed time, I get nausea but it’s not as bad as it’s been in the past there has been a few times when I have taken themnod to get in the bath and the sickness has got worse I put them back on eat a snack and I’m ok, defo give them a go :) xx

@alphaLemon welcome hun and wow sorry to hear your suffering with that!! Hope your ok, aww your due around my dates I’m due 29th feb now but dating scan on Monday originally was the 6th march I believe, get some aswell I do believe they help me I wear them religiously, I’ve also had a few bouts of insomnia and it’s awful it’s all hormones I think, some nights I sleep so well and others I can’t xx

barnyb · 16/08/2019 06:57

@AlphaLemon congratulations! Sorry your so ill !!! Oh my goodness you must be feeling very poorly! Makes my moaning sound trivial!! I'm getting some bands as they sound fab. !
I am able to get off to sleep but sometimes I wake up and I'm not able to get back off ! 😬😶
I'm due 4th March ! Xx

barnyb · 16/08/2019 06:59

@SLT90 lol I ate a lot of super noodles a few weeks ago! I'm eating bagels but I can't have normal bread ! Soo annoying xxx

Naylor19 · 16/08/2019 07:33

@AlphaLemon welcome, sorry to hear you're suffering so badly!

All I crave at the moment is carbs, mainly toast and crisps!! So I'm definitely not in with those who crave healthy food unfortunately! Although my appetite had dwindled a lot since the sickness kicked in.

Hope you find some relief soon! x

Jesskir89 · 16/08/2019 07:44

Morning ladies. Just wondering who's got a bump yet? I'm 9 weeks today and I'm sure I've got a little one my dh says not but do you think it could be? @AlphaLemon welcome and congrats :)

Yvonne1988 · 16/08/2019 07:55

@jesski89 I have a bump of bloat I think... If it's fat it's all.gone to my stomach. But it's not a baby bump as such. Can only wear a baggy top of hoody to hide it at the moment.

MunchyMunchkin · 16/08/2019 07:57

Evening nausea is the worse. I managed some lasagne before my 3hr drive last night and it repeated on me the entire journey. Grim.
No bump here @jesskir89 feel my belly is a bit bigger but weight the same.

Welcome to anyone new. - there is a secret Facebook group you can join if you want. Just send me a pm.

Frillyfarmer · 16/08/2019 07:57

Morning ladies. 11+6 today and I think I'm coming out the other side of sickness. Craving pickles for breakfast which DH is horrified by 😂 I've lost 1/2 stone in this first trimester but my jeans are tiiiiiight now so I think I'm going to dig my maternity wardrobe out!

barnyb · 16/08/2019 08:01

@Jesskir89 iv got a little bump now. When I'm in bed if I slightly lay on my belly it's uncomfortable. I'm 11 -2 today but I have had something going on for a couple weeks! Xx

Ginandtonic31 · 16/08/2019 08:04

Hi, I think I commented but forgot to introduce. I'm 10 weeks today. I haven't had any sickness, just feeling it a bit. But that has stopped now! I've been eating a lot of carbs so from today I'm getting back to healthy eating and exercising I've got so fat! I went off meat too but seem to not be so bad now. And the fatigue has gone too. Maybe o should be worried.

Naylor19 · 16/08/2019 08:12

Hey guys quick question, has anyone dyed their hair since finding out they're pregnant? My ends have gone so light and I'd love to dye it before I got to Milan Sunday but won't if it will harm baba! Google seems to be a mix of answers!

SLT90 · 16/08/2019 08:15

@Jesskir89 I'm 9+1 and when my bloating subsided for a while last night and this morning I can definitely feel a very slight bump. Still making the most of being able to sleep on my front while I can!

barnyb · 16/08/2019 08:31

@Ginandtonic31 congratulations:)
@Naylor19 yes I did mine two weeks ago. I use normal home box dye. I didn't leave it on for the full time. I think it said 25 mins but I only did about 15 mins. also make sure you do it in well ventilated room. Window open or fan on and door open if you have a small bathroom xx

barnyb · 16/08/2019 08:32

@Naylor19 my hairdresser said it's ok to do this but be mindful. Your hormones can make your skin sensitive. So if any itching or sensitivity then wash off straight away xx

Naylor19 · 16/08/2019 08:36

That's great thanks @barnyb I may just dye the ends so hopefully shouldn't be too bad! Just feel so grotty at the minute, hoping it might boost my self confidence and make me feel a bit more human! x

barnyb · 16/08/2019 09:15

@Naylor19 yes that's why I did it ! it did help! But now I'm back to feeling like a grossy again :)

krp14 · 16/08/2019 09:34

That’s slightly reassuring thankyou @Jesskir89 I’m off to the EPU now, see what they say x

Jesskir89 · 16/08/2019 10:16

Thanks girls. I am overweight any way but lost 22lb before I fell pregnant and was hitting the gym so wondered if It was that. I'm only 1lb heavier than when i found out I was pregnant though so I do think it is a bit of a baby belly. @krp14 good luck and let me know how you go :)

Ninjamomma · 16/08/2019 10:24

Late to the party but can I join please. I've been wanting to join for weeks but was reluctant as I felt very anxious. I am 11 weeks today. 1 Miscarriage before DD 7 years ago and then 3 miscarriages with my now DH. Never made it past 7/8 weeks. I went for a scan yesterday and baby is healthy with a heartbeat and moving around and I think i'm ready to start enjoying pregnancy. It's been so lovely reading all the posts over the last few weeks.

MunchyMunchkin · 16/08/2019 10:31

Welcome and great news @ninjamomma quite a few of us pregnant after miscarriage on here - extra stress.
