@Kasssel26 it's so hard not to be worried especially being first timers! I've had a rocky start and still not in the clear yet so I'm stressing anyway! Have you had any scans yet? How far do you think you are? :) x

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 09:01

@Naylor19 will be thinking of you. Positive thoughts sweetie Flowers

@Jesskir89 I hate to waste food too, but the thought of poisoning myself or my fiancé is worse than food waste!

@satsumasaturday I love dairylea. I did make it as usual but took a few bites and it just tastes off ... but that could have been the nausea talking...

Fiancé woke up and agreed that food needed to be thrown so he went and got rid of the things I told him too without question! Would’ve done it myself but fridge smell 🤢 we kept the butter and veg and satsumas and hard cheeses etc but chucked soft dairy and meats.

I’ve tried ginger nuts this morning and so far I think they are helping 🤞🤞🤞 I tried sea bands but didnt feel like they did anything!

@Brandygirl27 ahhhhhh nooo! 👎🏼

Kasssel26 · 10/08/2019 09:05

@Naylor19 I'm 10 weeks and 2 days! I had a scan at 8 weeks all was fine and I'll have another at 12 weeks what about you x

Kasssel26 · 10/08/2019 09:05

Ps thank you everyone for being welcoming xx

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 09:08

@Keyboard91 thanks lovely x

@Kasssel26 oh that's brilliant! I'm not 100% sure by my lmp I should be nearly 7 weeks but I had an early scan and only showing at 5+5 so I've got another scan Wednesday to see if it's progressing and has a heartbeat. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for positive news then xx

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 09:08

@Kasssel26 the anxiety is normal so be reassured by that. There is ALWAYS something to worry about. I’ve been awful during this pregnancy as have had 2 MCs this year, but I’ve found talking on here has been a huge help as all the ladies are so supportive and rational in my non-rational moments

@Naylor19 just saw your pg test - that’s good news as means your HCG is still nice and high which is what you want! I would steer clear of the weeks indicator ones for reassurance. I’ve seen frantic posts of ladies who were worried and took one and it said 2-3 even though they’d had a previous 3+ and were sure they were Mc but it was just the test and they were okay. It’s why when I got a pack of tests the other day I got normal FRER (and even then I got worried by a perfectly positive result 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️).

@naylor19 I will be thinking of you and wishing you nothing but the best x

SweetChillis · 10/08/2019 09:15

@barnyb That gives me some hope! I was feeling fine until I got to 8 weeks then it hit me and have felt awful for the past 2x weeks. It's much worse in the evenings but I feel sick all the time. I'm mentally preparing myself it might not go away as my mum had it throughout both her pregnancies.....but fingers crossed I don't have the same 🤞🏻

Cheese spread and bagels is my thing at the moment!! 😊

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 09:19

@Kasssel26 thankyou lovely x

@Keyboard91 that's nice to hear, I'll avoid digital then! Don't wanna send myself into more worry! I'm debating paying for a private scan Monday also as sometimes I've heard private ones are more thorough than nhs x

barnyb · 10/08/2019 09:21

Woah bagels ! yes!!! I'm getting those today too!
oh really !! So uv only really just kicked it all off then? Hmmmm... 🤔
see, I was on the floor crying because the spices in the kitchen cupboard smelt so bad at 6 weeks 😂 so maybe you still have a few more weeks of it then? I suppose we are all different and all experience different emotions and symptoms
However seems like we are all wanting the cheese spread 😍

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 09:30

@Naylor19 it might be worth it? Keep your NHS appointment too

@barnyb I’ve started something! Spread on ritz crackers goes down well if you need crunch!

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 09:46

@Keyboard91 yeah 100% as they've also booked me a slot after incase need the procedure. Hence the reason I'm freaking! Don't want them to of got it wrong and I'm just early!

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 09:52

@Naylor19 I think a private scan is a good idea! Second opinion too! And if the worse was happening I don't think you would a bfp like that :)

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 10:04

@Jesskir89 @Keyboard91 Monday 1pm! They were so lovely too said they'd do external and internal and hopefully get to the bottom of it all. Just be glad to have that second opinion before Wednesday :) fingers crossed! X

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 10:33

@Naylor19 Fab! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Random question ... is anyone else getting hairier ... and it growing quicker? I’ve just had to redo my eyebrows and my top lip a lot sooner than I normally would have! And there was more to get rid of too 🙈

OP posts:
Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 10:36

@Keyboard91 thankyou Smile

I read somewhere that the hormone makes hair grow quicker and thicker! People have commented on how thick and long my hairs grown lately! I also had my brows done 2 weeks ago hd usually lasts me 4-5 weeks and they've already started to grow out! Pretty annoying lol x

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 10:43

@Naylor19 see I read that too ... but my head hair is shedding more than it usually does 🙈🙈🙈 I think I’m just broken.

Just stretched to put a picture back on the wall and had some moderate sharp cramps for a minute or two ... didn’t like that.

@barnyb @SweetChillis @satsumasaturday @Jesskir89 - thanks all, I’ll ring them Monday.
I had my booking appointment and a reassurance scan early as I had some spotting so I think I’ve just fallen through the net because they were waiting to see how my early scan went? That was about 2 weeks ago though. They must have a lot to deal with!

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 11:43

@Keyboard91 haha it does strange things to us doesn't it!

Oh no, I'm sure it's just normal pulls and twinges! My stomach pain I had originally is because I have a lovely 21mm cyst on my right ovary curtesy of the clomid I was on! There hoping it will pop on its own (which apparently is very painful) so I'm looking forward to that! Hmm

MunchyMunchkin · 10/08/2019 11:44

@Keyboard91 my body hair grew much slower in my last pregnancy but head hair grew like crazy.

Completely forgot that midwife was coming this morning to do booking so I was still in my PJs. Luckily she didn’t mind and it was a very speedy booking.

Yvonne1988 · 10/08/2019 11:59

I woke up and sneezed this morning. Wow that was painful. My stomach muscles seem to be feeling it today.

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 12:42

@Naylor19 it was gone within a couple of minutes so I’m taking it as ‘dont do that again’! I won’t sugar coat it, cysts hurt when they pop.

@MunchyMunchkin love that, might have to try it 😂

I’ve been to Asda and restocked the fridge so I have my dairylea again! I also got Jelly (whoever mentioned it!). I also cried because I really wanted a Milky Way and couldn’t find any.

OP posts:
Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 13:04

@Naylor19 that's brilliant news! Get the wedding out the way then 1 more sleep! I've also got a cyst on my left ovary so I feel you! Been feeling sick all day today I forgot to take the kitchen bin out last night so the left over dog food in there set me off!

barnyb · 10/08/2019 15:01

Guys I just got this thing. Does anyone know if they are any good? I read good reviews but to be honest I really don't know what I'm doing 🤷🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️
