@jesskir89 ah right I think I just went in to see a midwife or someone who updated my notes and just asked some questions, see if I had any.

Jesskir89 · 09/08/2019 22:27

@Yvonne1988 we will be fine :) is dh back this weekend?

Yvonne1988 · 09/08/2019 22:49

@jesskir89 yeh he got back last night. Away tomorrow though. Back Wednesday morning next week though and I have my booking appt that afternoon :D

Charly82 · 09/08/2019 23:00

Hey
I'm new due on the 3rd March, however I'm a bit confused as this thread states #2 and I'm due my 3rd! So is there a March 2020 #3 thread at all?

Sorry if I'm being thick

Yvonne1988 · 09/08/2019 23:05

@charly82 it just means we are on the 2nd thread for those due in march.

Charly82 · 09/08/2019 23:07

Oh right!! 😁 ok thank you so much, I thought it was mother's expecting their 2nd child only 😂

I'll stay put then! xx

Yvonne1988 · 09/08/2019 23:24

No there's a mix on here.

Brandygirl27 · 10/08/2019 05:43

Well ladies 11 weeks today and I’ve been up since 4am feeling sick as a dog 🙈eating ginger nuts at this time 🙈🙈🙈😩lol I thought it was supposed to get better at 11 weeks not worse 😩😩😩lol xx

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 06:33

@Naylor19 the fact it’s grown is positive. It might be that you were a late implanted so your dates are out. Could also be because dates are known to be really inaccurate early on. Don’t lose hope yet hunny

@Charly82 it just means we talk too much! Welcome :)

@Brandygirl27 hopefully it’ll settle when you hit 12 weeks. I’ve read lots of people who just woke up one day feeling okay.

I’m having a bad day already. Got up at 5:50 and came down to try and jam some dairylea on toast down my throat before the worst of the nausea hits ... discovered I must’ve left my fridge open all night 😭 which means everything perishable needs to be thrown away and I have to drag myself round asda. It also means an argument with DF as he will be all ‘it will be okay’ and want to just eat it anyway as he doesn’t like it when I tell him food is not edible. But nothing was cold. I have a fridge cold Coke Zero every morning (it helps) but it’s barely below room temp. So it’s a non-starter eating meat from inside! And I’m without my dairylea so I’m screwed nausea wise today :(

@Jesskir89 hopefully that's the case!

@Keyboard91 I guess so, only 4 more days until I find out. It's so hard waiting, I guess the positive sign is I still feel pregnant so I'll enjoy it for now x

Kasssel26 · 10/08/2019 07:06

Hi all I'm new here and also this is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me right now ! I'm due March 5th 2020 !
So I'm just over 10 weeks, very sick every day and hormonal .. I have suffered a lot of anxiety and I was just wanted to know if others are the same ? I'm very grateful to be pregnant but also didn't realise how daunting and anxious I would be thanks for your advice xx

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 07:20

@kasssel26 and @charly82 welcome ladies and yes we've all felt anxious on here! You're way past the worse 'zone' now though so try and relax :)
I'm so tired I'm glad I'm not the only one up at this time what's wrong with us???? @Keyboard91 I would probably still eat it too tbh lol but half my problem is I hate to waste food

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 07:32

@Kasssel26 @Charly82 welcome guys, pregnancy is definitely a very daunting experience! It's my first time too and I'm awaiting my scan Wednesday to find out if I'm progressing or not. The lovely ladies on here are so great though at keeping spirits up and giving sound advice Smile hope you both have happy and healthy pregnancies x

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 07:53

Enjoy the wedding today @Naylor19

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 08:02

@Jesskir89 thanks Jess, woke up feeling nauseous again! Hoping it subsides by lunchtime, luckily it's a late wedding Smile ticking another day off until I get some answers! 4 days to go! Hope you're feeling well today x

ELW85 · 10/08/2019 08:04

Morning all and welcome @Kasssel26 and @Charly82!

Quick question; how quickly did you get your 12 week scan letter through? I’m coming up to week 8 and still don’t have it. I think I’ve just fallen through the NHS cracks but it’s irritating me.

barnyb · 10/08/2019 08:07

@Charly82 @Kasssel26 hey guys congratulations!! I'm due on the 4th so right in the middle of you both!!! how are u both feeling??? Really interested to know how ur symptoms have been and how they are now that ur in wk 10.
I had extreme nausea, crazy sense of smell and tiredness from 6 weeks. As soon as I hit 10 weeks it's all subsided. I still get sickly at night time and meal times but nothing as awful as it was, I was really worried but yesterday I had a scan and baby was fine :)
Have you had a scan yet?? When is your 12 week scan?

Xxx

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 08:15

@Naylor19 4 more sleeps! I'm sure all will be fine :) @ELW85 I'm 8w 1d and had mine last Monday. I would ring them if I was you

satsumasaturday · 10/08/2019 08:32

@ELW85 I got mine through at about 7-8 weeks, shortly after an early scan at 7weeks. But then I still hadn't been contacted my the midwives for my booking in until early this week (at 9 weeks) and that was only because I called them. I have my booking in at 10+2. So they do things in a strange order where I am!!

@Keyboard91 I really want dairylea now! I'd probably still eat stuff - especially the dairylea as I'm not sure there's actually anything nutritional in that that could go off 😂 But then I'll eat anything

SweetChillis · 10/08/2019 08:36

@ELW85 I think it depends where you live and the processes they have in place. I had my booking in appointment with midwife at 8 weeks (at my doctors surgery) and she sent off paperwork and bloods. Got my 12 scan appointment at hospital through 2 days later.

I'm 10 weeks Sunday and feel sick as a dog 🤢

barnyb · 10/08/2019 08:52

@ELW85 hello. I got my 12 weeks scan through straight away! But my midwife, I waited 4 weeks and then I called them. Then they said they are so busy and so many referrals. And I'm 10 weeks and 3 days and I'm not seeing her until next Friday!
I think it just depends where u are and how busy they are. Xxxx

barnyb · 10/08/2019 08:56

@Keyboard91 oh no your having a bad morning ! I do feel for you! Iv done that before and I hate food going bad and had to throw so much away! Meat and yoghurts ! such a pain in the A!
I really fancy those triangles now though! Thanks for reminding me :) TO THE SHOPS I GOOOO!

Naylor19 · 10/08/2019 08:58

@Jesskir89 I did a pregnancy test this morning just to double check it's still saying pregnant and the line came up super dark within seconds! Do you think if I wasn't progressing it would still do this or would it be faded? I'm probably clutching at straws! Blush I'm tempted to buy a clear blue digital as I would tell me weeks too or am I wasting my money Hmm x

barnyb · 10/08/2019 08:58

@SweetChillis hello! Hold fire because the day I turned 10 weeks, literally the day! My extreme sicky stuff started to get better!
I have more energy then iv had in the last 5 weeks, and only sicky at meal times and bed time. Rather then all the time! I read online it does happen to some women. Also I'm going on about this and I bet next week I'm be back to square one again! 😂

Kasssel26 · 10/08/2019 08:59

@Naylor19 lovely to hear I'm not alone in feeling the daunting feeling it's easy to feel overwhelmed with everything, I think my hormones are ramping up anxiety levels at the moment with me it's comforting to talk to others that are first timers as well xx
