@Jesskir89 I have a kitty and I have to get rid of cat food and litter out in the big bin because the stench 🤢🤮

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 15:03

@barnyb I've never heard of it tbh hun x

barnyb · 10/08/2019 15:07

@Jesskir89 iv just put it on and it's pretty good. So basically depending on what colour the egg glows, it tells you what tog is recommend.

@barnyb I had one first time around. I didn't use it much really. Maybe first few months.

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 15:30

@barnyb it’s on my list of things to buy :)

barnyb · 10/08/2019 15:41

@Yvonne1988 yes I imagine once I get the idea I shan't need it. but I'm really anxious about temperature if baby is too hot or cold because it's so dangerous. So I hope not will ease my worries!
@Keyboard91 oh really? Had I heard about them before then? I'd never seen them x

Keyboard91 · 10/08/2019 15:57

@barnyb lots of people were recommending them on a thread I read during my first pregnancy, and my friend loves hers for piece of mind. Plus I have a broken internal thermostat so I am always cold so I will feel it’s colder than it is and over dress baby at night

Has anyone been going to the toilet a lot lately? I keep weeing, I'm only 10+5
Ridiculous, surely too early to put pressure on bladder xx

barnyb · 10/08/2019 16:15

@Charly82 I think I was up about 4/5 times last night. I have been like this for a few weeks now

barnyb · 10/08/2019 16:16

@Keyboard91 ah good ! I don't like spending money on silly useless gadgets ! so that's good you know of it being good! :) xxxx

MunchyMunchkin · 10/08/2019 16:44

@keyboard91 see what’s on the baby monitor you buy first as mine has an inbuilt thermometer so I didn’t need a groegg as well.

Frillyfarmer · 10/08/2019 16:47

Had my scan today, measuring 11wks bang on and everything looking good 😊💞

@Naylor19 I would step away from the test and if you can wait for your NHS test, they are usually fairly thorough with situations like yours. I had something very similar in January, I knew my dates so unfortunately it was bad news for me but I had three scans before we made the next steps. Home pregnancy tests are a minefield if you are experiencing a MMC or retained products because your HCG levels can still rise - I miscarried on Jan 17th and I didn't get a negative pregnancy test until March 3rd - it was heartbreaking. My friend had an identical issue with growth scans and her little boy is now three so please don't think it will be bad news for you, I just didn't want to over investing in pregnancy test results when they can mislead. Xxx

@barnyb I've got one but I never really used it with my first as he prefers the dark and most baby monitors have the temperature on them which is helpful. X

@Frillyfarmer ahhh look how lovely ! That's a great picture ! 😍

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 17:50

@barnyb sorry I'm not getting notifications for some reason! Yes I can imagine the litter tray being bad for your sickness too. I've not had much but certain smells get me going and don't even talk to me about the spice cupboard! Lol. And the tog as in the blanket?
@Frillyfarmer congrats what a lovely scam pic!
@Charly82 I'm bad atm too been waking in the night for a wee and I'm bursting!

SLT90 · 10/08/2019 18:38

This thread is definitely active! Loads of posts to catch up on 😊

@ELW85 it may depend on where you live as to when you get your appointment? Always worth ringing them to check. Lots of the ladies on here seem to be getting booking in appointments from 8 weeks onwards but I've been told mine will be after 12 weeks (possibly joint with my scan)

@Frillyfarmer that's such a nice scan pic!! Really clear! So exciting to see I'm sure - was baby moving about?

To those with the tummy twinges, I think your muscles change fairly quickly after the hormones start kicking in. I've sort of pulled my stomach muscles a couple of times this week from sneezing! So strange.

Also not sure if im imagining it but I'm almost sure my lower tummy feels slightly different to touch now, firmer in the centre

barnyb · 10/08/2019 18:39

@Jesskir89 the tog on the sleep suit things.
Spice shelf floored me for weeks! I couldn't go down that isle in the shops either ! 🤮🤮🤮🤮

ELW85 · 10/08/2019 18:42

@Frillyfarmer - congratulations!! Lovely scan photo :)

@SLT90 - thank you - that’s the funny thing; I had my booking appointment ages ago. I’ll ring them on Monday.

I’ve also pulled a couple of stomach muscles sneezing or just standing up on Friday. So odd!

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 18:47

@barnyb got you! I'll have to invest.
I still keep getting some bleeding me, I'm not too worried as been on and off all week and of course my scan was all ok just yesterday but still in the back of my mind worrying. Anyone else like this?

barnyb · 10/08/2019 19:05

@Jesskir89 I'm so sorry your having that. I haven't had any bleeding so I can't 100% understand but I am so very anxious all the time.
Worry about everything. I had scan yesterday too and still that wasn't enough.
Xxx

Yvonne1988 · 10/08/2019 19:15

I'm feeling sorry for myself today. Hurts all the way across my stomach from that sneeze this morning. Plus I am so tired right now just want to get in bed but my daughter has a friend over.

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 20:20

@barnyb I never had this last time until 15 weeks then list the baby the week after but it's been on and off for over 2 weeks now so I'm guessing I'll be ok. @Yvonne1988 early night!

barnyb · 10/08/2019 20:25

@Jesskir89 oh my goodness that's just awful. How bloody awful for you. No wonder your worried ! Literally I would be the exact same.
Such a worrying time. Do u think once you get past 16 weeks and everything is confirmed fine you will relax? my longest pregnancy before was 8 weeks. Now I'm 10 I do feel slightly less anxious but I don't imagine being relax until the baby is breathing in my arms

Yvonne1988 · 10/08/2019 20:30

@jesskir89 I'll have to wait til the kids go to bed. I have trouble sleeping at the moment which isn't helping

Jesskir89 · 10/08/2019 21:06

@barnyb I'm hoping so. I think I'll relax more towards 20 weeks. I do feel a bit better after my scan but we will see. That was 10 years ago so I'm hoping this is my time. @yvonne1988 try that lavender pillow spray it's been really helping me

Yvonne1988 · 10/08/2019 21:07

@jesskir89 I think I saw one in the Avon book I was going to order next time.
