I've attached a picture of the nutritional yeast. I buy it online at Holland and Barrett but I've even seen it in Tesco now.
You can use it in cheese sauces like with cauliflower or macaroni.
My friend sprinkles it on pasta dishes instead of Parmesan.
But I use it when I do avocado on toast: mashed avocado, spoonful of NY, fresh chopped toms salt and pepper.
The other lush recipe that weaning babies really love and that I love is in a food processor add: 1 avo, half a roasted garlic, pepper, handfull of basil leaves or teaspoon of dried basil, half cup of water, half cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of ground hemp seeds (or any seeds).
Blitz it up and that's your pasta sauce.
Quick fry of one onion, half head of broccoli and a tin of chickpeas.
Cook some tagliatelle. Then mix all three bits together.
I like a good dose of salt and pepper on it but obviously I don't salt the baby's food.
This is a really quick meal once you've done it a few times.
Other sources of b12 are marmite and all/most of the plant based milks are fortified with b12.
