@hopefulowl @Keyboard91 yeah its easing a bit with the hot water bottle. Also woke with a banging headache and really tired. Im going for afternoon tea with my mam later so hoping i feel better for that! Theres no bleeding and its not severe pain so the reassurance has helped loads!

@Sarah873 whats pgp? X

Sarah873 · 03/08/2019 08:52

@jampot36 pgp is pelvic girdle pain (like spd) where your hips hurt if you do things out of balance. Sorry, I actually meant round ligament pain! Which is like a sharp twinge either side just when you're moving about (more so in later pregnancy)
I'm sure it'll ease of with that hot water bottle and you'll be back to feeling just regular pregnant!

Jampot36 · 03/08/2019 09:19

@sarah873 its more like cramps but is easing now which is a relief and now im back to mostly tired and bloated although my symptoms have been pretty mild compared to most others on here.

Your due date is the day after mine! X

Yvonne1988 · 03/08/2019 10:40

@jampot36 I have had cramps every single day. Think it's just normal for me. Was the same first time around as well.

Disney1010 · 03/08/2019 11:10

@sarah873 I had severe PGP with my last pregnancy (I was on crutches full time from 17 weeks). It never fully went away when my daughter was born, and I'm already getting the starting signs of it this time 😭

Jampot36 · 03/08/2019 12:06

Thanks everyone, the reassurance really helped. Its definitely eased now and its good to know its normal! X

MummyP1g · 03/08/2019 13:05

Afternoon ladies, hope all the symptoms aren't too bad today or are at least easing off!

So we had the scan this morning and everything is looking good, even heard the heartbeat so that was a relief. The measurement is currently putting me as 7+6 so I need to get back on to the GPs on Monday to try and get my first appointment moved otherwise I won't be seeing a midwife until after 11 weeks, instead of the just before 11 that I thought. X

Yvonne1988 · 03/08/2019 13:43

Some of mine seem not so bad then I just get a wave of nausea.

avocadoincident · 03/08/2019 16:44

@Jesskir89
I've attached a picture of the nutritional yeast. I buy it online at Holland and Barrett but I've even seen it in Tesco now.

You can use it in cheese sauces like with cauliflower or macaroni.

My friend sprinkles it on pasta dishes instead of Parmesan.

But I use it when I do avocado on toast: mashed avocado, spoonful of NY, fresh chopped toms salt and pepper.

The other lush recipe that weaning babies really love and that I love is in a food processor add: 1 avo, half a roasted garlic, pepper, handfull of basil leaves or teaspoon of dried basil, half cup of water, half cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of ground hemp seeds (or any seeds).

Blitz it up and that's your pasta sauce.

Quick fry of one onion, half head of broccoli and a tin of chickpeas.

Cook some tagliatelle. Then mix all three bits together.

I like a good dose of salt and pepper on it but obviously I don't salt the baby's food.

This is a really quick meal once you've done it a few times.

Other sources of b12 are marmite and all/most of the plant based milks are fortified with b12.

Hi everyone! Hope it is ok to join this. I am 6weeks and think I will be due end of March. I have sore boobs, bloated stomach, on and off nausea and keep feeling very tired.

I have 2 already a DS and DD but my youngest is 13yrs now so this feels so new! I have a 5yr step son tho so used to running about after young ones. I am so nervous something will go wrong but at the same time excited to be pregnant!

avocadoincident · 03/08/2019 17:29

@alphabetti sore boobs, bloated tummy and nausea?....come in, you are in the right place.

Congratulations

hopefulowl · 03/08/2019 17:38

@Jampot36 glad to hear it has eased off now, hope your afternoon tea is exactly what you needed!

@alphabetti welcome and congratulations!

barnyb · 03/08/2019 17:54

@avocadoincident your post about the sprinkles and the recipes just made me feel sooooo queasy 🤢 lol food post should have a trigger warning on them 🤭😵🥴😂

Jampot36 · 03/08/2019 17:57

@hopefulowl it was lovely to a point...nausea kicked in and i could have fallen asleep on my plate! My mam had my glass of prosecco and my husband has my cakes that i brought home for him so everyone did well out of it! I'm off to put my pjs on and doze in front of the tv now.

We're driving to bolton and back tomorrow so fingers crossed for a good night sleep!

Dinosauraddict · 03/08/2019 18:04

Welcome @alphabetti. @MummyP1g congrats on the scan, I was in awe when I saw the heartbeat at my first scan!

Squiff70 · 03/08/2019 18:23

Hello ladies, can I join please?

I'm 6+2 with my third baby - I lost twins at 19 weeks in January.

My boobs hurt and literally everything is turning my stomach from the smell of the fridge to the dishwasher even after it has finished washing, my favourite perfume etc etc.

My official due date is 26th March based on my LMP but they've said they'll induce me at 37 weeks as I lost my son and daughter due to placental abruption and delivering a little early would help reduce that risk a bit.

I have my first scan on Monday Grin

Yvonne1988 · 03/08/2019 18:34

@avocadoincident I like the sound of that! I get b12 injections so I need as much of it as I can get. I'm due one now but I don't k know if I can still get them?

hopefulowl · 03/08/2019 18:40

@Jampot36 pjs and dozing in front of the tv sounds perfect. Our house is still chaos after moving last week! Getting there slowly though. I already feel anxious for the work we need doing to be complete and everything to be perfect. I liked the idea of a project before, now I'm not so sure anymore!

Jampot36 · 03/08/2019 18:49

So the pain is back and ive started bleeding, not spotting a bit more than that and its red not brow. Ive rang the gynae ward and ive got an emergency scan at 9am tomorrow morning. Terrified doesnt cover it.

Keyboard91 · 03/08/2019 19:06

@Jampot36 how heavy is the bleeding? Do you need a liner or is it just wiping? Some people do have bleeds during pregnancy. I know it’s hard, I really do, but try not to think the worst just yet. Sending you hugs hunny xxxx

Jampot36 · 03/08/2019 19:12

@keyboard91 its more than spotting but not as much as period but was bright red. Ive got a liner on so can figure out. I'm lying flat on the sofa in the hope that gravity will be stopped.

barnyb · 03/08/2019 19:20

@Jampot36 I hope your ok! Have you got any sickness or sore breasts? X

ELW85 · 03/08/2019 19:22

I’m so sorry to hear that, @Jampot36. It is fairly common, but I know it’s terrifying. Keeping absolutely everything crossed for your scan tomorrow 🤞🏻 And sending massive hugs x

Jampot36 · 03/08/2019 19:24

@barnyb no, boobs have been ok this last week and only had very mild nausea. Felt crazy tired today but i never had it as bad as some of you do.

avocadoincident · 03/08/2019 19:46

@barnyb so sorry should've thought!!!

@Jampot36 we will all be thinking of you here. Good luck for tomorrow. X
