@kittytiggy I like Saskia! But then I already have 3 fairly unusual named dc and this 1s name isn’t too common either (I have had to do a lot of two-ing and thro-ing to get to the point I’m agreeing with DH on the name lol)
Cant wait to meet her now tho, fed up with the nausea, tiredness, aching, inability to do pretty much everything etc etc - the list is endless! But also have a whole heap of stuff going on over the next week so she needs to hang tight for a bit! DD has residential next week (which I’m yet to pack for 😳) followed by her leavers assembly on Thursday, followed by a second leavers party (she’s had a school one today but parents have organised one for the last day of school as well 🤦🏼‍♀️)
We are also entered into a carnival on Saturday night - would much rather just sit and watch but as the kids are walking and DH is driving the truck I will have to walk alongside 🙈
And I’m still not finished work nor have I a date to finish - whoops! Hoping I will know more once I’ve seen consultant tmrw, if she gives me an induction date then I will give work a date to stop lol! x

@BarryBarryTaylor I know how u feel haha, my boys just been called 'junior' or 'bump' we decided on his name yesterday which makes me feel less like a bad person for not picking it yet haha

BarryBarryTaylor · 18/07/2019 18:16

Boys names are tough! I’m a childminder and I feel like I have looked after every child with every boy name out there 😂

Snowflake9 · 18/07/2019 18:58

We can't agree a name. Will wait u til we meet little Bambino. I think.

It's so hard to buy clothes too if you don't know what you are having! Gone are the years of lots of cute unisex stuff that doesn't have silly branding like born in 2019 on it..

BarryBarryTaylor · 18/07/2019 19:17

Oh I’m with you on that one snowflake. I dislike slogan clothes for myself also. I saw one that said mommy’s bff in bright pink shimmery sequins and it had sizes from newborn. It made me shudder.

elliandher5 · 18/07/2019 19:40

I'm sure this will be right up your streets

I've ordered every single one of these Grin #so #cute #omg

Lexyness · 18/07/2019 19:56

@BarryBarryTaylor I’m the complete opposite! Find boys names really easy for me and DH to decide on but couldn’t find a name for DD 11 years ago and struggled again this time 🤦🏼‍♀️ We are all sorted now though - unless I change my mind again lol x

Snowflake9 · 18/07/2019 19:59

Oh Jesus. Who would actually put their baby in that??

Managed to get a nice 8 peice set today in the boots sale ! Win. Some gorgeous clothes in there half price ladies.

BarryBarryTaylor · 18/07/2019 20:02

lexy want to send any of those names me way? Grin

kittytiggy · 19/07/2019 09:20

@Snowflake9 off into town this morning so will definitely have a look in Boots! Smile
@Lexyness YES! (dying to hear what your names are hehe) for boys I have a really short shortlist that I've had since I was about 15. For girls there are so many more bloody options!!!!!!
was watching the mummy diaries last night and I remembered Ferne McCann has a daughter called Sunday.
All of a sudden I'm head over heels with the name omg

ricecrispiecake · 19/07/2019 10:40

👋 Hi, can I join in?
Currently 37+6 with my 2nd child and I am seriously fed up now haha. Had loads of little niggles over the past week but nothing that actually feels like baby will be arriving any time soon 😭

ricecrispiecake · 19/07/2019 10:44

Sorry, didn't read through all of the thread, congratulations @mumoftwo1988 💐

Xyzzzzz · 19/07/2019 15:11

@Lexyness how was your appointment? I’m being induced a week early. Which is what I thought.

Lexyness · 19/07/2019 16:44

@Xyzzzzz

All good at my app! Bp has increased but it was to be expected because I started different tablets on Wednesday (due to national shortage of labetalol 🙈)
I have a date for my induction too - 2 weeks tomorrow and I should be meeting little one - yay! Not full induction - with any luck just artificial rupture of membranes should be enough to do the job they reckon (as long as cervix favourable on the day!) had to be earlier than 39 weeks as my others came at 39 weeks so they wanted to make sure I was in hospital! They said even if I had the baby at home because I didn’t make it then they would send me to hospital in an ambulance after, so thought the best option was to just be there in the first place! Feels like such a relief to know I’ve only got 2 weeks left! xxx

kittytiggy · 19/07/2019 17:00

@ricecrispiecake I'm expecting baby number 2 too. Do you know what you are having?

@Xyzzzzz @Lexyness how exciting! I've still got a few more weeks to go Sad

Went to Primark today and got some lovely sleepsuits and some in boots!!! Also I suddenly like the name Luna too I'm so stuck!

BarryBarryTaylor · 19/07/2019 18:25

Luna is lovely 😊 reminds me of Harry Potter, she was one of my favourite characters 💙🌸
Husband and I randomly decided on Gabriel last night. I say randomly because I didn’t realise that was a name he would go for.
I have had such a chronic headache today, and lower back ache. I definitely waddle now. Trying not to take paracetamol really but I am going to have to have a couple.
I need to pop to primark for a nightie/pjs for myself. Need to pack my bag this weekend as I am 37weeks now

PhoebeBear · 19/07/2019 21:34

Apart from the odd aches in my belly on a morning pretty much all my pains have went now, I've had a lot of Braxton hicks now though. Just keep telling myself just under 3 weeks to go!!

Kathryn19 · 19/07/2019 21:39

I am always so so uncomfortable at this time in the evening... anyone else feel so much worse by like 9pm? So warm, baby in full attack mode, any aches and pains at their worst and often have my worst tachycardia episodes which make me feel so breathless and blah!

Sounds like a lot of good bargains to be found... maybe I'll drag my brother to some shops when I meet him tomorrow haha

Xyzzzzz · 19/07/2019 21:49

@kathryn19 same here

@Lexyness I’ll be induced in two weeks too but I’m dreading it! So anxious

EverythingNow · 19/07/2019 21:55

@Lexyness I'm being induced on 4th August. I'll be 40wks, due to the size of baby who at 37wks is predicted to weigh almost 9lb. Consultant said they'd prefer to induce than let him grow to 5kg.

I know that scans aren't accurate, and I am fat. But my last baby was 4.36kg so I have form for biggies. I've also been induced at 42wks in 2 of my 3 pregnancies, so likely I could wait a further 2 weeks and be induced anyway. Feeling nervous though.

Lexyness · 19/07/2019 23:10

@Xyzzzzz @EverythingNow

I’m totally not anxious at all. Feel relieved to have a date despite initially not wanting to be induced OR even to go into hospital 🤣 even DH has changed his mind and agrees it’s for the best to make sure we’re both safe!
It does help that they don’t intend on full induction but just artificial rupture of membranes - as that’s what started my other labours (naturally) and then I delivered quickly after that lol!
And @EverythingNow I’m quite the opposite, have sfga babies! Except this one is currently growing well according to scans and the fact I feel like I’ve got a baby acrobatic hippo inside me 😝 definitely gonna be my biggest yet! I Reckon 7-8lbs, even consultant today said this one will be my biggest Cos the others were tiny lol! Final scan 4 days before induction so will see what they say then I suppose! I’ve packed tiny baby clothes AND newborn clothes to be on the safe side, probably won’t fit in tiny baby but the newborn ones honestly look huge 😂 x

Lexyness · 19/07/2019 23:11

Also - sounds like there’ll be quite a few baby announcements in a fortnights time then! xxx

EverythingNow · 19/07/2019 23:16

@lexyness my 3rd was induced by my waters being broken and it was a lovely labour. 2hrs and she was out.
I'm just nervous about having to have pessary or drip again if cervix is unfavourable, because I usually go to 42wks and still not ready I worry at 40wks I might take more of a kick start!

Lexyness · 19/07/2019 23:34

@everyrhingnow - eek! Yes the only thing that worries me is an unfavourable cervix 😕 but my others were 39weekers so I’m hoping a few days earlier will still be ok 🤷🏼‍♀️
Really hoping I won’t need the pessary or drip too! It wasn’t really mentioned tho as dr believed all will go ok with just breaking my waters! I’m going to ask for a sweep at my 38 week mw app to see if that will help (at least she will assess my cervix I suppose if nothing else, I can be a bit more mentally prepared in case cervix doesn’t look favourable!)
Just the mention of induction with dc1 was enough to send me into labour the night before lol x
