And so ready to have their baby??!!

I have my sweep booked in and I'm convinced I'll be overdue! I just don't want to be pregnant for 1 more week let alone 2!

@Furble I’ve been having very irregular contractions for a few hours but not anywhere near as many or as painful enough to think I’ll have her anytime soon.

Could I join you please? 38+2 but this baby is big apparently so had sweep yesterday and induction booked for next Sunday. Anyone else experienced induction before or trying to avoid one!? I also believe that our body’s will tell us when it’s time-had no interventions last times and really believe you can feel more in control when things happen as they should- I hoped all to be natural as my previous were /and quick-but feel this time is very different so now willing to go with it as I’ve also had enough! So probably will be in next Sunday...Congratulations on little boy too :)

Baby boy arrived this morning at 3.19am. Just enjoying some peaceful skin to skin now.

Still here 40+4... Lots of niggles but nothing!!
Did u do anything in particular to bring in labour that u felt made a difference I'm slowly losing my sanity here!!

I started having contractions early this morning, waiting out at home as long as I can but hopefully will be having baby today! Grin

I think it was the second sweep that did the trick for me on Friday.
Had a lovely day Saturday before labour got serious, got woken by mild contractions, my Mum collected my son and took him to stay with her for the weekend. I went for lunch with my dad and step-mum, noticed the contractions throughout but could talk through them. Met DH after and we went to our nearby park and had an ice cream and fed the ducks. Then they started to get a bit more painful so popped to Sainsbury’s for Lucozade and snacks and then came home around 6pm where things started to get real, managed to hold out until 10pm and was 5cm when I arrived at 11pm. Baby delivered at 3. After a very slow first labour and c-section for “failure to progress” I am over the moon.

Good luck to all of you waiting, don’t overdo it if you think you’re close, conserve your energy and rest! Flowers

Im currently 40+2 and waking up each day wondering if today will be the day!

@Furble Thank you, she didn't actually finish as I asked her to stop and I can't imagine I'll be able to have one next week either. I'm struggling just to put a cushion between my knees when I lie down. I'm hoping things just happen on their own, midwife did say his head was low so fingers crossed.
