Anyone else 39 weeks?

And so ready to have their baby??!!

I have my sweep booked in and I'm convinced I'll be overdue! I just don't want to be pregnant for 1 more week let alone 2!

Can I butt in?

Due date today and I was so so sure baby would be here by now but I’ve not got a single sign/twinge/BH at all. Seriously fed up and just want my baby here safely and quickly and right now please

@HalfBloodPrincess I know exactly how you feel! I was so sure this baby was coming early. I'm totally with you on being fed up... at least we call all have a moan to each other!

Anyway... to distract from our complete lack of labour.... do you all know what you're having? Any names picked?

I'm really excited to meet the baby now!!

We’re having a surprise and we have a son already (2.5) so secretly hoping for a daughter but expecting another boy (my DH already has another son from a previous relationship so am very used to lots of boys!).

No names picked out really, we are as underprepared on that front as we were last time, whoops!

@RiverMeadow Serious hats off to you, don’t know how you are coping on your own with a toddler and PGP.
I was supposed to be on my own all this week and I lasted one day before calling my mum in tears and asking her to come and stay. She’s staying until my husband finishes work on Saturday. You are an amazing lady!

This ones a girl. I already have a girl then 2 boys so rounds it off nicely. Not got a name yet, not even close to agreeing 😫

@Furble DC1 is at nursery so I do get a few hours off. I'm trying to keep on top of housework too as I know it could happen any day really.

We're also having a surprise with no name!

My house is staying like it is, I refuse to do anymore decluttering! It’s clean, but only about as tidy as a house with an almost 2 year old will ever allow it to be.

This is our first and it's a girl! We have 4 names we both like and agreed on! We are going to choose once she's here

Ours is a surprise too! Although for some reason I’m convinced it’s a boy - based on absolutely nothing but I’ve been saying ‘he’ from 6 weeks!! We have names sorted but we’ll see how we feel when we eventually see baby!! I’m due on Sunday and have no indication at all that baby will arrive anytime soon. I have however swelled up and slowly turning into the elephant woman! My feet, legs and hands are all puffy! I’ve put on 4 stone over this pregnancy and don’t look anything like the old me so looking forward to some lovely summer family walks with OH, baby and dogs!!

I've not had the balls to get on the scales as of late! I think I'd have a breakdown

The heat has me absolutely frazzled, I just can't wait for it to be over and on the road to recovery!

@RiverMeadow I hopped on the scales when I was at my mums last week and I've put on 3srone - my baby is measuring on the 90th percentile though so hoping a lot of it is baby and fluid

I do feel like I have fluid build up in my legs so hopefully that buggers off!

Here's hoping tonight is the night for one of us!

Just weighed myself and I’m surprised I’ve only put on 11lb considering all the shit I’ve been eating lately! - I put on 5 stones with my 2nd!

@HalfBloodPrincess That's amazing! I know for definite I've put on at least 2 stone!

Anyone have a baby overnight?

I had some properly painful BH (different to anything previous) when out walking with DH last night but they wore off and stopped so I slept all night, hopefully it’s a sign things are moving in the right direction. 40+3 and second sweep today. 🤞🤞We’re also exchanging on our new house today woohoo!

Happy due date for yesterday to @Halfbloodprincess at what term did your other DC arrive?

Hope everyone stays cool and happy today. We’ve a bank holiday weekend ahead of us, I wonder if we’ll get a few bank holiday babies!

No baby for me yet 😭 had some pretty decent pains too and felt quite sicky the last few hours but just had a cup of tea and it all seems to have gone away to nothing!

Others came at 37, 38 and 42 weeks so a bit of a mixture. Fully resigned to the fact I’ll probably get to 42 weeks again this time

Im 40 weeks today so today is due date and im definitely going over!
I have a sweep booked in for 40+5, for any of you that have had these done already, how painful are they?

Currently sat drinking raspberry leaf tea which has been doing zilch :(
Ive put on 3 stone and the swelling in my feet of an evening is horrendous! Hope this baby evacuates soon

No baby for me either I started losing bits of my mucus plug last night and had some BH so was hoping I might start labour this morning but unfortunately it's not looking like it

I'm still here too! Just came back from a really long walk and other than tired I feel absolutely nothing!

I've been losing guys my plug and having brown discharge for days now, I'm sick of waiting!

I genuinely thought I was starting last night as had pains etc but nope still no baby!! Not even a niggle today! Hopefully one of us will drop soon lol xxx

I keep thinking i will go into labour during the night (every night!) and then before I know it, it's morning!

I'm pretty sure I've lost all of my plug now. I'm just sick of waiting!

Evening all, I’m feeling thoroughly depressed this evening. My second sweep was no better than the first in terms of my cervix and the midwife was pretty rough which was an unpleasant surprise. 😤

I’ve been trawling through endless threads to try and find some positive VBAC induction stories and not had much luck so seriously thinking about requesting a section when we go on one Tuesday.

And we didn’t complete on the house. 😭

Hope some of you mums are having more luck than me today.
