Hi @CowBrow and everyone, thought I would start a new thread since the old one has filled up and I can't find another! If there is one and I've missed it, let me know Smile how's everyone doing?

@Foreverhope I'm so sorry. Big hugs and be kind to yourself.

@Frizzy1986 yes I'm getting cramp like pains every day (I did the last time too). Also got to the point with morning sickness where everything makes me feel sick and nothing smells right. I'm constantly exhausted and just want to sleep. I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow so fingers crossed its only a few more weeks of feeling this rotten.

Secretlifeofme · 05/03/2019 10:48

Oh @Foreverhope I'm so sorry. What very sad news :(

Is it normal for symptoms to come and go? Had physical vomiting twice last week with nausea in between, although the nausea I would say lasted mainly just Thursday - Sunday. This week I've had the odd twinge of nausea but nothing like those days last week. My boobs still hurt and still sleeping a lot but so worried this sudden decrease in nausea is a bad sign. Had my scan last week which was a 6 week fetus with heartbeat but I had it as I'd had small amount of very light brown discharge which has now stopped. Just so worried but trying not to as I know that's bad too!

kdd1980 · 06/03/2019 08:18

@Random2468 I've been worrying about that too! I had practically no symptoms for a couple of days but have woken up today with them in full force. This seems to have happened a few times so I reckon that it's just hormones going up and down and it's normal

russiandwarf · 06/03/2019 08:19

Yes I think so - due to fluctuating hormones. My nausea subsided and then came back and now it's gone again. I see a fertility acupuncturist and said it's normal! Also Midwife yesterday didn't seem to be concerned about this

womaninkent · 06/03/2019 08:48

@random2468 I had exactly the same thing but my symptoms seem to have come back. Try not to spend the day panic googling (like I did!!!)

flowersaremyfave · 06/03/2019 08:50

Morning all how's everyone doing? I have an early scan at the hospital today because of pain on my left side. Doctor referred me yesterday to the epu and they have called me this morning asking if I can come in today for a scan. Feeling a bit nervous, it's the first scan I've had in this pregnancy 😬

@foreverhope I am so so sorry. Life can be so unbelievably cruel sometimes.

HarryPottersSecretSister · 06/03/2019 09:21

Aw @sal1987 thank you so much! Whereabouts in Ireland are your DF's family from?

For those of you who have experienced nausea and sickness and now it's disappeared, can I ask what week it started and what week it stopped?

I'm despairing a little bit here. Only 6+5 today and as you all know this has been going on for two weeks now. It's completely debilitating. I stupidly started a separate thread asking people for their experiences and although all the posters were so gorgeous to me, it wasn't particularly full of hope and I'm now convinced I'll be this level of sick and useless for the next 7 months. Just intrigued when others here say they've been ill but now it's gone.

Feel terrible for complaining- particularly with the recent losses and worries here. Just really struggling.
Can't work, can't do anything: my grandmother (who raised me) had a stroke in January, I've barely missed a day visiting in hospital since but I haven't seen her in over a week because of this. 😔

HarryPottersSecretSister · 06/03/2019 09:22

@flowersaremyfave best of luck with your scan. Xxx

Newyearsameoldshit · 06/03/2019 09:40

HarryPottersSecretSister haveyou thought about seeing your GP? I have been totally floored by nausea and vomiting from about 5 weeks, got to a point I couldn't work or look after my toddler. GP prescribed cyclizine and it is working really well for me so far, I still feel shit but no puking and only low level nausea so I can function again!

HarryPottersSecretSister · 06/03/2019 09:44

@Newyearsameoldshit I think I might speak to her again. I booked I'm with her on Monday and told her I was feeling horrendous but she was saying that was a really great sign etc.
Not sure if I drilled home to her enough how horrendous.

Am glad you're feeling (a little) better.

Genuinely don't recall this on any of my other pregnancies (or maybe because they were so long ago, I just forget)
