Hi @CowBrow and everyone, thought I would start a new thread since the old one has filled up and I can't find another! If there is one and I've missed it, let me know Smile how's everyone doing?

@Topsy15 I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't feel I can say anything that will comfort you but just take care and look after yourself xxx

princesstinnedpeach · 03/03/2019 12:46

So sorry to hear it @Topsy15 Sad take good care of yourself. Wishing you peace. xx

Topsy15 · 03/03/2019 12:54

Thanks everyone. It really is heartbreaking and such a hopeless feeling, I don't think anyone who hasn't experienced it can understand. Taking the week off of work and being kind to myself x

Clarew78 · 03/03/2019 12:56

Secretlifeofme · 03/03/2019 13:04

@Topsy15 I'm so sorry, what devastating news for you. I had a MMC in 2017 and I know how hopeless and sad you must feel. Be kind to yourself Flowers xx

@ Topsy15 thinking of you. A week being kind to yourself sounds like a good start. Sending love x

Nextchapter19 · 03/03/2019 14:11

So I had my early scan today. I dated 7+4, but they dated 7 weeks. 1cm long and a heartbeat. Showed what they said was an implantation bleed outside of the sac but said nothing to worry about.

Emjm9 · 03/03/2019 14:12

@Topsy15 I'm so sorry, stay strong and keep faith in what the future will hold xx

Nurserysitu · 03/03/2019 14:40

Hello, I’m due around the 20th Oct with my second. My first isn’t one until the end of the month! Smaller age gap than we were going to plan for.

I had 7 consecutive miscarriages before my 1st so feeling nervous about this pregnancy.

kelly14 · 03/03/2019 15:13

Nurserysitu, I am also due 20th and my little one is 1 in a couple of weeks!
The Nausea is so horrendous I’m really feeling it!

Nextchapter19 · 03/03/2019 15:47

@Nurserysitu and @kelly14 I'm also now due on the 20th October (this was updaed at scan today!). Oh wow you both are having a quick 2nd pregnancy!

Random2468 · 03/03/2019 16:29

I'm so so sorry @Topsy15 this is heartbreaking news especially after your previous MC. I don't know what to say. I am thinking of you. I reckon I'll be in your situation soon as had the brown discharge the other day, I just think it's such a worrying sign and never normal. All we can do is keep going and keep trying. I hope you have lots of love and support around you. I will be thinking of you xxx

CaramelCluster · 03/03/2019 17:03

I'm so sorry to read this @Topsy15 I know there isn't any words to really help but I was very sad reading this today. Sending you all the hugs in the world.

These first few months are so worrying for us all, it's very difficult not to think the worst but I'm glad we're all in the company of many who are going through exactly the same feelings/thoughts.

I got my early scan next weekend but sometimes wish I had it done this weekend. Just that niggling worry that constantly goes through your head. Sending everyone lots of luck and well wishes in this delicate time Thanks

Mummsie1 · 03/03/2019 17:09

Hi all,
Thought I’d join in.

Potentially Due 6th October so 9 weeks, but all will be confirmed at dating scan in just over 3 weeks time (so long to wait)

Anyone else feel so tired I mean exhausted, some days I am literally dragging myself around as I’m aching that much and can fall asleep at any moment I sit still long enough. I also have horrendous nausea most days living off a sandwich, breakfast bar and plain crisps. I’m usually sick once a day too.

Sorry for long moany post just wondered if anyone else felt the same?

Nurserysitu · 03/03/2019 17:35

Congratulations @kelly14, I’m nervous about having such a small gap. We didn’t plan for this, which makes me even more anxious!

My sickness is terrible again, I had HG last time and i think it’s rearing it’s head again. I’m finding it so hard looking after my little one!

womaninkent · 03/03/2019 18:43

@topsy15 so sorry to hear this.

HarryPottersSecretSister · 03/03/2019 18:43

@Mummsie1 you're not alone. I've spent most of this weekend crying and am not able to move from the couch/ bed due to the same sickness.
I'm really struggling.
Feel so bad for complaining but just can't help it.
I'm also in the middle of a chrons flare.
I am so sorry you're experiencing similar. I can't explain how much you have my sympathies. I hope this passes very quickly you (for us both) xxxxx
(I'm living off orange calypso ice pops - they help. Kind of. Maybe try them?)
I'm also going to pick up some sea/ travel sickness bands tomorrow.

I've caved and booked a an early scan.
Was always the intention to book a private one at just over 10 weeks so I could announce to my children and my mum but it seems so long away.
At €100 a pop I couldn't justify more than one but I've found another place that does a an early scan for €80 and any follow up scan for €50 so thought that was reasonable.
So I've booked one for the 15th, when I'll hopefully be 8 weeks.

HarryPottersSecretSister · 03/03/2019 18:47

@Nurserysitu and @kelly14 there's 15 months between my youngest two. Obviously tough at the beginning but such a lovely age gap as they grow together - my two are now 9 and almost 8 and are best friends. Same interests in activities and toys and movies and same friends. It's lovely.
Actually sometimes feel sorry for my oldest girl (5 year gap).

This will be my last baby but if I was planning more, I'd hand on heart go for that tiny gap having seen how lovely it works out ❤️

Mummsie1 · 03/03/2019 18:53

Oohh I’ll try anything. I’ve got the bands, they took the nausea off enough so I can at least now, in the beginning I couldn’t stomach food at all, but the nausea is still there nearly all day every day, just not as intense.
Like you I feel bad for moaning, had few moments where I’ve just cried as I feel so tired (blame the hormones) and literally sleep any chance I get.

Hope you start to feel better soon with it all, I’m hoping the 12 week rule is at least true then atleast only 3 weeks left of feeling like this then I can start enjoying the pregnancy

HarryPottersSecretSister · 03/03/2019 19:12

@Mummsie1 good to hear the bands helped - even if it was just a little. Like you, I'll take anything I can get!
Yes, fingers crossed for the most fabulous, energetic, absent of all sickness 2nd trimesters.

Totallyhonest · 03/03/2019 19:37

@Topsy15 so sorry to hear that. Please stay strong! Sending you hugs Flowers x
